Jared Goff Posts 210 Yards, One Touchdown In Win
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff completed 19 of his 28 passing attempts for 210 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Thursday Night Football victory over the Green Bay Packers. Goff needs a massive yardage total or multiple touchdowns to pay dividends for fantasy managers since he has limited rushing upside, so it was a letdown fantasy performance. However, the team relied on David Montgomery (34 touches) and held a lead for the entire game. When the Lions' are in more pass-happy game scripts, Goff will be back in QB1 contention.

Jordan Love Has A Rough Outing In Prime Time
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love completed 23 of 36 passes for 246 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions while adding two carries for a loss of two yards and one rushing touchdown during the team's 34-20 loss to the Detroit Lions. The 24-year-old salvaged a terrible fantasy performance with the rushing touchdown at the start of the fourth quarter, but this goes down as his worst fantasy performance of the season so far. Love hit the returning Christian Watson for a touchdown, and his return should help with future fantasy performances. With back-to-back single-passing touchdown performances, the first-year starter has returned to earth but gets a bounce-back matchup against Las Vegas in Week 5. Love will be a top-tier streaming option in that matchup.

Jahmyr Gibbs Takes Back Seat To David Montgomery Again
Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs rushed eight times for 40 yards and caught four of his five targets for 11 yards in the win over the Green Bay Packers. With David Montgomery active, he was once again relegated to a limited workload. The talented rookie running back is becoming a frustrating fantasy asset after failing to deliver a respectable fantasy outing through four weeks. His role could grow later in the season, but for now, he should be viewed as a shaky flex play with some PPR upside.

Aaron Jones, Christian Watson Were On Snap Counts
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones and wide receiver Christian Watson said they were effectively on a snap count in their first game back on Thursday night in the 34-20 loss to the Detroit Lions. Jones had just five carries for 18 yards and caught one of two targets for a four-yard loss, while Watson hauled in two of his four targets for 25 yards, saving his fantasy day with a wide-open touchdown. Jones was making his first appearance since Week 1, while Thursday night's game was the first of the year for Watson, so fantasy managers shouldn't have been all that surprised that both players didn't play a big part, especially in a game that was never really close all night. Expect more involvement from both in next week's game on Monday night against the Las Vegas Raiders.

AJ Dillon An Easy Fade In Week 4
Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon will take on the division-rival Detroit Lions on Thursday night. The 25-year-old has been incredibly underwhelming to start the season despite not having Aaron Jones (hamstring) in the past two weeks. Jones has a shot to play this week after being listed as questionable on the final injury report. Typically, Dillon would be a potential flex option with Jones active in a matchup against Detroit. However, the Lions' defense against the run in 2023 has been great, allowing just 13 points per game to the position. Even if Jones sits, the Packers' No. 2 back has done nothing with his increased role to give fantasy managers confidence in flexing him. Dillon is an easy fade in Week 4.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Scores Touchdown Against Packers
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown caught five of his seven targets for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Week 4 win over the Green Bay Packers. It wasn't a nuclear target or reception game for the third-year wideout, but he ultimately delivered for fantasy managers with the end zone trip. When the Lions are forced into pass-happier game scripts, he has high-end WR1 upside in all matchups. Continue to start him with confidence.

Josh Reynolds Leads Lions In Receiving Thursday
After not showing up in the box score at all in the Week 3 win over the Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds bounced back in the 34-20 win over the division-rival Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football. Reynolds caught three of his six targets for a team-high 69 yards, averaging a healthy 23 yards per reception. It's now the third time in four weeks in 2023 that the 28-year-old, who has excellent chemistry with quarterback Jared Goff, has seen six targets. At least until Jameson Williams returns from his suspension, Reynolds is the best bet to serve as Detroit's No. 2 behind Amon-Ra St. Brown. Through four games, he has 12 catches (19 targets) for 215 yards and two touchdowns.

Kalif Raymond Scores Long Touchdown In Week 2
Detroit Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond caught two passes for 46 yards and a touchdown in the team's overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks. His first catch of the afternoon went for 36 yards and the score. The 29-year-old only saw three targets in the contest. Raymond sits behind Amon-Ra St. Brown, Josh Reynolds, and Marvin Jones Jr. on the depth chart and doesn't play a majority of the snaps. He will continue to make splash plays throughout the season, just as he has done since arriving in Detroit, but can't be trusted in fantasy football on a week-to-week basis. Christian Watson Catches Touchdown In Regular Season Debut
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson caught two of four targets for 25 yards and a score during the team's 34-20 loss to the Detroit Lions. Returning from a hamstring injury that cost him the first three weeks of the season, the 24-year-old played limited snaps but was able to find the end zone and give fantasy managers a decent performance. Romeo Doubs has 25 targets over the past two weeks. With other reliable options like Jayden Reed and Luke Musgrave (concussion), Watson will need to capitalize on big plays to max out his fantasy potential. With that said, the upcoming schedule for the second-year receiver is excellent and will make him a plug-and-play WR2 starting next week against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Romeo Doubs Posts Another Double-Digit Target Performance
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs caught nine of 13 targets for 95 yards during the team's 34-20 loss to the Detroit Lions Thursday. The return of Christian Watson did little to stop quarterback Jordan Love from feeding the second-year wide receiver, who now has 14 receptions on 25 targets through the past two weeks. Tight end Luke Musgrave (concussion) did leave the game before halftime, so his exit also played a factor. However, Doubs has been the clear favorite target of Love through the first month and should remain a reliable flex option moving forward. Six of his next seven matchups are great for fantasy wide receivers, with next week's game against Las Vegas being one where managers should consider the 23-year-old a top-tier WR3.

Jayden Reed Nets 55 Yards In Week 4 Loss
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed caught three of five targets for 55 yards during the team's 34-20 loss to the Detroit Lions. The rookie has come back to earth over the past two weeks after nabbing two touchdowns in Week 2. However, he has remained involved enough to warrant stashing him with the upcoming schedule as a break glass in case of emergency flex. Tight end Luke Musgrave (concussion) exited this game early, so it's possible that led to more targets for Reed. Next week's matchup against Las Vegas is juicy, making Reed a startable asset for fantasy managers in need.

Sam LaPorta Puts Up 56 Yards In Win
Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta caught four of his five targets for 56 yards in the Thursday Night Football win over the Green Bay Packers. It wasn't a massive boom performance for the rookie tight end, but it should keep fantasy managers in PPR leagues afloat ahead of the full Week 4 slate. LaPorta has seen at least five targets in all of his contests, which is more than can be said about a large chunk of the available tight ends on the waiver wire. He is a must-start in all matchups after being the fantasy TE2 through the first three weeks of the season.

Luke Musgrave Won't Return On Thursday Night
Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers rookie tight end Luke Musgrave (concussion) will not return on Thursday night against the Detroit Lions after being evaluated for a concussion. Before injuring his head in the second quarter, Musgrave caught his only target for one yard. It's a tough break for any fantasy managers that started the 23-year-old in Week 4. With Musgrave now out the rest of the way Thursday night, rookie Tucker Kraft, who has two catches for five yards, should have a bigger role as the Packers look to make a major comeback. The good news for Musgrave is that he'll have extra time recover from his head injury before the team's next game in Week 5 on Monday night against the Las Vegas Raiders on Oct. 9.
