  • Russell Wilson Goes Under 200 Yards In Loss To Panthers

Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson's disappointing first season in Denver continued in the 23-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 12. Wilson went 19-for-35 on the day for 142 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions while being sacked three times. He ran the ball twice for eight yards and also lost a fumble in yet another poor performance with the Broncos falling to 3-8 on the season. The Broncos' offensive line isn't doing Wilson any favors, but the 33-year-old signal-caller just isn't playing good football, either. It didn't help that he was again without receiver Jerry Jeudy (ankle), but even if Jeudy returns in Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens, Wilson will be a low-upside, low-end QB2 in fantasy.

  • Sam Darnold Will Remain The Starting Quarterback

Carolina Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold will remain the starter, at least for the team's Week 14 matchup against the Seahawks. Darnold finished the Week 12 win over the Broncos with 164 yards and a touchdown off 11-for-19 passing. While it wasn't the most productive showing, the signal-caller played well enough to maintain his grasp on the No. 1 position on the depth chart. That said, Darnold has a way to go before he's labeled a starting fantasy quarterback. At the same time, desperate fantasy managers who still have Baker Mayfield on the roster should hang on to him for now, especially since there's a chance he may be back under center before the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

  • Latavius Murray Falls Just Shy Of 100 Rushing Yards

Denver Broncos running back Latavius Murray took advantage of his new role as the unquestioned leader of the Broncos backfield in the 23-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 on Sunday, carrying the ball a team-high 13 times for a season-high 92 yards (7.1 yards per carry). He caught his only target in the passing game for a six-yard gain. Kendall Hinton, Marlon Mack and Montrell Washington combined for four carries behind Murray, so the 32-year-old should continue to see the lion's share of the backfield workload moving forward, albeit in the league's lowest-scoring offense. Murray should be considered a touchdown-dependent, low-upside RB2/3 heading into a Week 13 date with the Baltimore Ravens.

  • Marlon Mack Can't Be Trusted In Broncos Debut

Denver Broncos running back Marlon Mack will make his debut with the team in Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers, but he cannot be trusted as an option for starting fantasy lineups behind lead back Latavius Murray. Mack is getting an opportunity with Chase Edmonds (ankle) on Injured Reserve and after the Broncos waived Melvin Gordon III this week. While he should see some touches behind Murray this weekend in Carolina, the impending return of Mike Boone (ankle) could push Mack to third on the RB depth chart in one of the worst offenses in the NFL in 2022. The 26-year-old will have an opportunity to impress Denver's coaching staff in Week 12, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect much at all. Mack didn't play a single offensive snap in two games with the San Francisco 49ers earlier this year.

  • D'Onta Foreman A Risky Start In Week 12

Carolina Panthers running back D'Onta Foreman struggled to get things going last week and will have another difficult test in Week 12 against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos' defense has limited opponents to just over 300 total yards and 17 points per game this season. Foreman should continue to see the majority of touches out of Carolina's backfield, but he's difficult to trust with most of his fantasy production this year coming in two games against the Atlanta Falcons. It also remains to be seen how the 2022 Panthers' offense looks with Sam Darnold under center, making Foreman a risky flex option on Sunday.

  • Courtland Sutton Leads Broncos In Receiving In Week 12

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had a team-high 75 receiving yards in the 23-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 with Jerry Jeudy (ankle) out for the second straight game. Sutton had a team-high six receptions on eight targets, which were second-most on the team. The 27-year-old has become more reliable of late for his fantasy managers with Jeudy sidelined, and he has at least six catches and 66 yards in each of the last three contests. It remains to be seen if Jeudy will be able to return in Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens, but if he doesn't, Sutton will once again have WR2 upside in a low-scoring Broncos offense. Sutton's ceiling has been pretty non-existent in this offense, and he has just one touchdown all year in 11 games.

  • Kendall Hinton Draws Team-High Nine Targets

Denver Broncos wide receiver Kendall Hinton had a big role in the team's 23-10 Week 12 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. With Jerry Jeudy (ankle) missing his second straight game, Hinton caught three of his team-high nine targets for 35 yards and also had one carry for a 13-yard gain on the ground. It was nice to see the 25-year-old heavily targeted by quarterback Russell Wilson, but the two weren't very efficient. In the last three games, Hinton has gone for 154 receiving yards on 17 targets as the clear No. 2 behind Courtland Sutton. However, there's just very little upside in the lowest scoring offense in the NFL, and Hinton will go back to being off the fantasy radar in Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens if Jeudy is able to return to action.

  • DJ Moore Shines With Quarterback Change In Week 12

Carolina Panthers wide receiver DJ Moore finished with four receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown on six targets in a Week 12 win over the Denver Broncos. Moore posted some of the best production of his career early in the 2021 season with Sam Darnold at quarterback, and it seems that the duo still has a fair amount of chemistry. Assuming the Panthers continue to roll with Darnold under center, Moore can be viewed as a low-end WR2 when the team returns from its Week 13 bye.

  • Terrace Marshall Jr. Disappears In Week 12 Win

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. hauled in just one of his three targets for eight yards in a Week 12 win over the Denver Broncos. With Sam Darnold at quarterback, the Carolina offense looked much improved but relied heavily on the run and attempted only 19 passes. Marshall will hope to bounce back after a Week 13 bye when the Panthers face off against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14.

  • Laviska Shenault Jr. Touchdown-Dependent In Week 11

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. found the end zone for the second time as a Panther last week and will look to stay involved in a Week 11 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Shenault played on a season-high 39 percent of snaps in Week 10 but finished with just three receptions for 17 yards, scoring on a 41-yard carry. Although Baltimore is a soft opponent for wideouts, the third-year pro has been dependent on big plays and touchdowns and has not seen enough involvement in the Carolina offense to be considered a fantasy option.

  • Greg Dulcich Does Very Little Against Panthers

Denver Broncos rookie tight end Greg Dulcich continued his trend of being barely involved in the offense in the 23-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 on Sunday on the road. Dulcich caught two of only three targets for 11 yards. His three targets were tied with receiver Montrell Washington and were tied for his season low in his NFL debut against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6. The 22-year-old was rising quickly in the fantasy ranks at the thinnest position after catching 12 of 17 targets for 182 yards and a touchdown in his first three games. But in three games since, he has only eight catches on 12 targets for 52 scoreless yards. Dulcich's recent stretch has been even more disappointing based on the fact that receiver Jerry Jeudy (ankle) has been hurt.
