Jared Goff A Borderline QB1 Against Packers
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff has thrown for 819 yards, five touchdowns, and two interceptions through three games this year. For what it's worth, he's also rushed for a touchdown. He is the overall fantasy QB10 thus far and has plenty of upside in any matchup due to his high-powered offense. That said, pure pocket passers usually need at least two touchdowns to pay off in fantasy football. Against the Green Bay Packers, who have allowed the 14th-most fantasy points to the position, two touchdowns are well within his range of outcomes. It's worth noting Jaire Alexander (back) could miss this game.

Jordan Love A Streaming Option On Thursday Night
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love will face the division rival Detroit Lions on Thursday night. Through three weeks, the Packers starting quarterback has thrown seven touchdowns and is the QB4 overall for fantasy. Doing all this without his top target, Christian Watson (hamstring), and no Aaron Jones (hamstring) the past two weeks is nothing short of impressive. The 24-year-old will potentially have both players back this week for a decent fantasy matchup against Detroit. The Lions are middle of the pack against fantasy quarterbacks, making Love a solid streaming option for those in need.

Jahmyr Gibbs Could Be In Line For Big Workload
Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs handled 18 touches last week in the absence of David Montgomery (thigh). He turned 17 carries into 80 yards and one reception into two yards. It wasn't a massive fantasy performance, but it was promising to see him operate as a workhorse, despite speculation that Craig Reynolds could eat into his workload significantly. If Montgomery, who is questionable against the Green Packers, misses Week 4, Gibbs is a must-start in all formats based on his projected touch total. The Packers have allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to running back thus far, so Gibbs would have RB1 upside. If Montgomery plays and sees a normal workload, Gibbs becomes a risky flex option once again.

Aaron Jones Officially Questionable For TNF
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (hamstring) is being listed as questionable ahead of Thursday night's game against the Detroit Lions. Jones has missed the last two weeks dealing with a hamstring injury and the fact the Packers are playing on Thursday makes him truly questionable this week. The veteran ball carrier was dynamic in the only game he's played this year, carrying the ball nine times for 41 yards and a score and hauling in 2-of-4 targets for 86 yards and another touchdown through the air back in Week 1. If he missed a third straight week on Thursday then AJ Dillon would continue to lead the Packers' backfield. If Jones suits up, he's likely to be on a snap count and would check in as a low-end RB2. Dillon is more of an RB3 even if Jones doesn't play.

AJ Dillon An Easy Fade In Week 4
Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon will take on the division-rival Detroit Lions on Thursday night. The 25-year-old has been incredibly underwhelming to start the season despite not having Aaron Jones (hamstring) in the past two weeks. Jones has a shot to play this week after being listed as questionable on the final injury report. Typically, Dillon would be a potential flex option with Jones active in a matchup against Detroit. However, the Lions' defense against the run in 2023 has been great, allowing just 13 points per game to the position. Even if Jones sits, the Packers' No. 2 back has done nothing with his increased role to give fantasy managers confidence in flexing him. Dillon is an easy fade in Week 4.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Draws 12 Targets In Win
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown caught nine of his 12 targets for 102 yards in the 20-6 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. It was the ninth time St. Brown has seen at least 10 targets since the start of last season. Needless to say, he continues to be a must-start fantasy asset and has one of the highest weekly floors in all of fantasy football. He'll look to continue his dominance against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football in Week 4.

Josh Reynolds A Week 4 Bounceback Candidate
Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds had a productive first two games, catching nine passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns. He was questionable with a groin injury heading into the Week 3 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons but was ultimately active. Unfortunately, the veteran wideout did not see a target, despite playing 70% of the team's offensive snaps. While he is now a much riskier flex option after the zero-point fantasy day, he should bounce back as he gets further removed from the groin ailment. The Green Bay Packers are a tough matchup for wideouts (nine-fewest fantasy points allowed), but great offenses usually produce. Considering him a low-end flex candidate for Thursday's night game.

Kalif Raymond Scores Long Touchdown In Week 2
Detroit Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond caught two passes for 46 yards and a touchdown in the team's overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks. His first catch of the afternoon went for 36 yards and the score. The 29-year-old only saw three targets in the contest. Raymond sits behind Amon-Ra St. Brown, Josh Reynolds, and Marvin Jones Jr. on the depth chart and doesn't play a majority of the snaps. He will continue to make splash plays throughout the season, just as he has done since arriving in Detroit, but can't be trusted in fantasy football on a week-to-week basis. The Lions will host the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3.

Jayden Reed May Lose Snaps In Week 4
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed will face the division-rival Detroit Lions on Thursday night. While the rookie has played the No. 2 wide receiver role to open the season due to Christian Watson (hamstring) missing time, that run could come to an end Thursday night. Watson is listed as questionable for the game, but all signs point to the second-year receiver making his 2023 debut. This would push Reed to play primarily as a slot receiver and be often left off the field in two wide receiver sets. Averaging just over six targets per game so far, it will be interesting to see how quarterback Jordan Love distributes the ball with Watson active. Couple all of this with a tough matchup against a Detroit defense that allows the 12th-fewest fantasy points per game to receivers, and it would be better to bench Reed in Week 4 in favor of a better option.

Romeo Doubs A Risky Flex Option Against Detroit
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs will face off against the division-rival Detroit Lions on Thursday night. After leading the team in targets by a wide margin last week and catching the game-winning touchdown to bring his total to three on the season, the second-year receiver will potentially have to contend with former first-round pick Christian Watson (hamstring). The Packers top receiver has not made his 2023 debut due to the injury, but all signs point to him playing in Week 4. While Doubs will no longer see the top coverage from the Detroit defense, the added target competition makes him a riskier flex option. The Lions allow just the 12th-fewest fantasy points per game to the position, and on a short week, the game could be a low-scoring affair. Consider the 23-year-old a volatile flex option with Watson active and a much more reliable one if he sits for the fourth week in a row.

Sam LaPorta A Must-Start Fantasy Tight End
Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta is the fantasy TE2 overall after posting 18 receptions for 186 yards and a touchdown through his first three NFL games. He delivered a big-time performance in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons with eight receptions for 84 yards and a score. Given the scarcity at the tight end position, this early production already qualifies him as a must-start option. Though the Green Bay Packers haven't allowed much to tight ends thus far, LaPorta is no worse than the No. 3 option in Detroit's high-powered passing offense. His upside far outweighs the risk of regression. Start him with confidence moving forward.

The potential return of Christian Watson (hamstring) could make quarterback Jordan Love spread the ball around more. However, Musgrave has far too good of a matchup to pass up starting him over plenty of other options. The Detroit defense has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to the tight end position and has given up 263 yards in total through three weeks. For context, the next closest team is the New York Giants, who have given up 189 yards. The Lions' defense has been much better against running backs and receivers this year than it has been in the past but at the cost of allowing tight ends to feast in the middle of the field. Musgrave is a top-tier streamer in Week 4.
