Mike's Thoughts: Fantasy analysts are extremely bullish on Prescott given all of his weapons, a ridiculous start to the 2020 season before the ankle injury, and what looks to be a pretty poor defense. I'm a little more cautious since it seems premature expecting him to be fully healthy and in a good rhythm returning from that grewsome injury.

  • Tom Brady Practicing Without Brace

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady (knee) practiced without a brace on his surgically repaired knee on Monday. Brady is looking great so far in training camp after playing through an MCL tear in 2020. The future Hall of Famer underwent surgery in February but took part in June minicamp and is ready to go for his second season in Tampa. Brady obviously has a lower QB1 ceiling because he doesn't use his legs for extra yardage, but with all of his offensive weapons returning from a championship run a year ago, he should at least provide stable low-end QB1 numbers if he can stay healthy. And the fact that the 43-year-old looks healthy after recent knee surgery should ease the minds of those considering drafting him.

  • Tom Brady "Looks Great" At Camp

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady (knee) was on the field for the first day of training camp on Sunday. "Oh, he looks great," head coach Bruce Arians reported when asked about how the seven-time Super Bowl winner appeared. Brady had minor surgery to repair the MCL in his left knee back in February, an ailment he sustained during his final season in New England. Nonetheless, the latest report is good news for fantasy managers, and Brady should remain a top option at the position heading into the season, especially with so many weapons at his disposal on the offensive end.

  • Tom Brady's Trainer Expects Two More Years From Him

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady's personal trainer/life coach/diet guru Alex Guerrero said he expects Brady to play at least two more seasons in the NFL, which would allow him to fulfill his goal of playing in the NFL until the age of 45. At this point, we wouldn't put anything past the GOAT, especially after he just won his seventh Super Bowl ring in his first year in Tampa... on a fully torn MCL no less. Brady continues to defy expectations at the QB position at 43 years old after throwing for 4,633 yards and 40 touchdowns in 2020 to finish as the QB7 in fantasy leagues. Betting against Brady has proven to be pretty dumb, but even with the entire offense returning, Tom Terrific should be drafted as a low-end QB1 because of his lack of rushing ability at the position.

  • Tom Brady Played With MCL Tear Last Year

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady (knee) led his team to a championship in his first year with the organization in 2021, and he did it at 43 years old while playing with a torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee that he suffered in his final season with the New England Patriots. Brady finally had surgery on the knee in late February after winning his seventh Super Bowl ring. While Brady becomes more risky with each passing year because of his age and now this knee injury, it hasn't really slowed him down, as he still managed to throw for 4,633 yards, 40 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 2021. Brady has all of his offensive weapons returning this year, too, so he'll remain at least a low-end QB1 target in fantasy drafts.

  • Tom Brady Looking To Build Off Stellar First Season In Tampa

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady couldn't have had a better first season in Tampa, which culminated in winning yet another Super Bowl. The soon-to-be 44-year-old QB will be back for another run with this very talented squad and his chances of putting up solid numbers once again remain decent given he has shown no signs of slowing down and he has a great supporting cast. As a 43-year-old in 2020, Brady posted some of his best numbers in a while, including 4,633 passing yards (most since 2015) and 40 passing touchdowns (most since his epic 2007 season). The accomplished QB should sit firmly in the low-end QB1 tier heading into drafts.

  • Tom Brady Practicing Tuesday

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady (knee) is practicing during organized team workouts on Tuesday. It's unclear exactly to what extent Brady is practicing, but it's good news after he had knee surgery back in February. The Buccaneers are likely to play it safe with the future Hall of Famer during minicamp, as head coach Bruce Arians stated last week that Brady would be more of a coach than a player. Brady started the year out slow in his first season in Tampa, but it was clear that he became more comfortable within the offense in the second half of the season on the way to yet another Super Bowl championship. With all of his weapons back in 2021, Brady will remain a low-end QB1 for fantasy purposes.

  • Tom Brady Might Not Do Much In Minicamp

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that he's unsure how much quarterback Tom Brady (knee) will do in next week's mandatory minicamp because of his recovery from offseason knee surgery. Brady has been throwing in private workouts with teammates instead of attending organized team activities, but the Bucs might choose to be cautious next week. The future Hall of Famer began throwing two weeks ago, putting him ahead of schedule. The 43-year-old GOAT was more productive in Arians' offense towards the end of last year on the way to winning another Super Bowl ring. Fantasy managers and Brady haters have been waiting for him to show signs of a decline, but he keeps proving all the doubters wrong. With all his offensive weapons returning for a chance to defend their title, Brady should at least be a midrange QB1 target.

  • Bruce Arians Has No Plans To Retire Soon

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that he's not tied to quarterback Tom Brady and isn't planning on retiring anytime soon. The contract he signed in 2019 expires after the 2023 season. Arians also said the challenge of a young quarterback is appealing. "I could get extremely excited about having another young quarterback and going to war with one," Arians said. "I'll be honest with you." The 68-year-old primarily retired in 2017 due to health concerns, but he's fully healthy now and feels great. Many expected that Arians came out of retirement to win a Super Bowl with Brady, but now that it's already happened, Arians still has no plans to retire just yet. Can you blame him? The Bucs are poised to defend their title with basically the exact same roster.
