  • Tom Brady Might Not Be Done Yet

Shortly after this past season ended, quarterback Tom Brady decided to retire from the NFL. The 45-year-old signal-caller retired last offseason before deciding to rejoin the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before the season started. Now, rumors are starting to float around that Brady might come back once again. This time, Brady is rumored to possibly be returning to play for the Miami Dolphins. A return to the Dolphins wouldn't be too crazy considering that offense is stacked with Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill at wide receiver. It's uncertain if Tua Tagovailoa will be ready to play right away after suffering multiple concussions last season. Brady has already come out of retirement once, so it wouldn't be too shocking to see it happen again.

  • Buccaneers To Rebuild Following Tom Brady's Retirement

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers plan to go into full rebuild mode after quarterback Tom Brady announced his retirement earlier this month. Their biggest offseason priority is to get their books in order after pushing a bunch of salary cap hits into the future in the three years that Brady was in Tampa. They are currently around $55 million over the cap, with $35 million of that being Brady's. But they are expected to absorb all of that in 2023. The Bucs like quarterback Kyle Trask a lot, but they'll be in the veteran QB market this offseason as well. San Francisco 49ers impending free-agent QB Jimmy Garoppolo is a player they like, but they may not have the finances to get it done. In order to create some savings, Tampa could cut left tackle Donovan Smith to save over $5 million.

  • Tom Brady Files Retirement Papers Friday

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady officially fired a letter on Friday with the NFL and NFL Players Association, reconfirming his Feb. 1 retirement, according to sources. For those still with hope that Brady would back out of retirement for a second time in two years, this silences any questions about whether he might return and makes him eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2028. We have a sneaking suspicion he'll get in on his first try. The 45-year-old was already the greatest QB in the history of the NFL well before he even joined the Buccaneers to win his seventh Super Bowl ring. Brady spent 23 illustrious years in the league and will walk away as the NFL's all-time leader in passing yards (89,214) and touchdown passes (649). He won seven Super Bowl rings, was named the Super Bowl MVP five times and also earned three NFL MVP awards.

  • Rob Gronkowski Confirms 2022 Bills Talks, Insists Second Comeback Will Not Happen

Rob Gronkowski already delayed his Hall of Fame induction, returning from his 2019 WWE sabbatical to help out Tom Brady in Tampa. Both Brady and Gronkowski retired in 2022 — Brady for the first time, Gronk for a second — but the All-Decade tight end did consider playing with another team last year. Gronk confirmed […]

  • Tom Brady Announces Retirement From The NFL

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady announced his retirement from the NFL on Tuesday. He played 23 seasons and won seven Super Bowls, six with the Patriots and one with the Bucs. The 45-year-old finishes his career with 89,214 passing yards, 649 touchdowns, and 212 interceptions over 335 games. He holds the record for passing touchdowns, passing yards, completions, wins, and quarterback starts. The GOAT announced his retirement last year on February 1st, 2022, but after 40 days unretired, and returned to the Bucs for one more season. He showed no signs of slowing down at age 45, throwing for 4,694 yards and a 25:9 TD: INT ratio over 17 games in 2022. Brady is the GOAT and an absolute NFL legend. Now that Brady's football career is over, he signed a 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox Sports to be an on-air lead NFL analyst. Tampa Bay is in rebuild mode without Brady and will start the quarterback search to replace the GOAT in 2023.

  • Dolphins Not Eyeing Tom Brady Addition?

One of several names set to dominate the QB storylines of the 2023 offseason is Tom Brady. The all-time great is a pending free agent who faces a number of possible options should he choose to continue his playing career. One of those could be a move to Miami, something which has come close to taking […]

  • Dolphins Not Expected To Pursue Tom Brady

The Miami Dolphins are not expected to pursue Tampa Bay Buccaneers impending free-agent quarterback Tom Brady should he decide he wants to continue playing in 2023, according to league sources. Brady remains undecided on his plans for next season, but the seven-time Super Bowl champion will be an unrestricted free agent in March and will likely draw attention from multiple teams. Despite more injuries in 2022, the Dolphins remain committed to Tua Tagovailoa as their QB of the future and were pleased with his development this year under first-year head coach Mike McDaniel. Brady, who turns 46 in August, can't be franchise-tagged by Tampa due to a no-tag clause in his contract. Brady threw for 4,694 yards (third-most in the league) and 25 touchdowns, but he'll be a low-end QB1, at best, if he returns to play in 2023.

  • Todd Monken To Interview For Tampa's OC Job

University of Georgia offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Todd Monken will interview for the Buccaneers' open offensive coordinator position next week, according to sources. Monken served as Tampa's offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach from 2016-18 under Dirk Koetter and has always been thought of highly in Tampa. Under Monken in 2022, Georgia's offense averaged 41.1 points per game and over 500 yards of total offense. If he returns to the Buccaneers in 2023, he'd be tasked with improving an offense that suffered a big drop in numbers across the board in relation to previous seasons, and he could also be working without Tom Brady, who is a free agent this offseason.

  • Tom Brady To Take Some Time Evaluating Future Plans

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady will enter this offseason as an unrestricted free agent, but will reportedly take some time before deciding on his future in the NFL. Several of Brady's teammates in Tampa Bay believe that a return to the Buccaneers is unlikely, but everything else is on the table for the 45-year-old. He could choose to retire, but if he opts to extend his career to a 24th professional season, there will surely be teams lining up for their shot to bring in the future Hall of Famer. The Las Vegas Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, and Tennessee Titans have all been mentioned as potential destinations for Brady.

  • Buccaneers Expected To Fire Byron Leftwich

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to fire offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich after their season-ending 31-14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night in the wild-card game. The move has been anticipated for some time. The Bucs generated 386 yards of total offense against Dallas, but only ran for 52 yards and scored 14 points. Despite averaging 18.4 points per game (ranked 25th) in the regular season, the Buccaneers won the NFC South division. Leftwich was the team's play-caller since 2019 and helped lead the team to a Super Bowl win in 2020 in quarterback Tom Brady's first season with the team. Tampa's offense ranked second in the league with 30.8 points per game in 2020, and they averaged 29.9 points per game in 2021 (second). Their ground game ranked last in the NFL in 2022, averaging just 76.9 yards per game.

  • Tom Brady Will Be Unrestricted Free Agent

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady completed 35 of his 66 passing attempts for 351 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Wild Card loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Since Brady has a no-tag clause in his contract, he's guaranteed to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Of course, there's a chance he will retire, but he will have potential suitors should he want to continue playing. The Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders, and San Francisco 49ers have been rumored to have interest in the 45-year-old signal-caller if he decides to continue his playing career.

  • Tom Brady Will Have Options On Free-Agent Market

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is set to enter free agency this offseason entering his age-46 season, and there's a chance that he won't return to Tampa in 2023 if he decides to continue his Hall of Fame career. Among the teams that would consider Brady if he doesn't return to the Bucs include the Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders and San Francisco 49ers. The Raiders probably make the most sense and are fully expected to trade Derek Carr before a deadline kicks in for guaranteed money three days after the Super Bowl. Tampa Bay definitely would like Brady to come back, and there will be a much better chance of that happening if they make a deep run in the postseason.

  • Buccaneers Expected To Retain HC Todd Bowles

The Buccaneers are preparing for their wild-card matchup on Monday night, but the weekend has already produced a significant (if unsurprising) development for the team. • Tom Brady A Solid Play For Wild-Card Weekend

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady finished the regular season with 4,694 passing yards, 25 touchdown passes, one rushing touchdown, and nine interceptions. It certainly wasn't the best statistical campaign for the 45-year-old nearing the end of his illustrious career. However, this week signals the beginning of the playoffs, and we all know what happens to the GOAT at this time of the year. He lives for these moments, and almost always shines under the bright lights. The Buccaneers face the Cowboys on Monday night in the wild-card round, and he should have all his top weapons healthy and available. Expect TB12 to throw early and often as this should be a high scoring affair. The Dallas defense is good, but Brady is better when the chips are in the middle. Consider him a solid option for the first weekend of the playoffs.

  • Jets Ready To Spend Big On Quarterback

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson told reporters on Thursday that if general manager Joe Douglas and head coach Robert Saleh tell him there is a veteran quarterback they need, Johnson will "absolutely" be ready to spend what it takes to land him. "That's the missing piece," Johnson said of a franchise quarterback. Tom Brady is the only QB currently slated to hit free agency that would command a big contract, but the Jets could be exploring which expensive veterans might be available via trade. The news comes on the same day that Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr said goodbye to the organization. Along with Carr, San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo could be a trade option. Former No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson fell flat in his second NFL season and was benched twice, although he'll have a chance to compete for the job in 2023.

  • Tom Brady Throws Touchdown In Week 18

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady saw minimal action during the Sunday's Week 18 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. The Bucs already clinched the 4th-seed, so they didn't want to risk Brady getting injured before the playoffs. He completed 13-of-17 passing attempts for 84 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Brady completed a touchdown on his first drive, but didn't last in the game for too much longer. He was relieved by Blaine Gabbert who was eventually replaced by Kyle Trask in the meaningless loss. Brady will finish the regular season with 4,694 passing yards with 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions through 17 games. The Bucs will host a Wild-Card game against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday. He should hopefully be able to have success with the Bucs beginning to get healthy again.

  • Blaine Gabbert Relieves Tom Brady Sunday

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has been pulled from Sunday's Week 18 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Brady finished 13-for-17 with 84 yards and one touchdown, breaking the NFL's single-season completion record (previously set by Brady himself in 2021). Brady's departure comes as no surprise considering the Buccaneers have secured the NFC's No. 4 seed and planned all along to pull some of their starters midway through this week's game. Veteran quarterback Blaine Gabbert will take over, though there's a chance that Kyle Trask could also see some snaps later on.

  • Tom Brady Could Return To Buccaneers In 2023

Recent reports have indicated that quarterback Tom Brady will not return to the Bucs in 2023, but Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times says that is not necessarily the case. • Tom Brady A Risky Start In Week 18

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady hasn't been spectacular in 2022. However, in the team's 30-24 victory over Carolina in Week 17, that all changed as Brady exploded for 432 passing yards and four total touchdowns (one rushing). It was easily his most dominating performance of the year, perhaps signaling he is clicking at the perfect time for fantasy managers. However, the Buccaneers have clinched the NFC South and in Week 18 they face Atlanta with nothing on the line. Tampa Bay may rest its starters or pull them early, and if so, Brady's fantasy value is minimal. It's a tricky and risky spot, so have a backup plan unless you're convinced the GOAT will play the entire game on Sunday.

  • Tom Brady, Starters Expected To Play In Week 18

Despite already clinching the NFC South division, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said that the plan is for the team to play their starters in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Atlanta Falcons, including 45-year-old quarterback Tom Brady. "We can get better at a lot of things, so right now, we plan on playing him," said Bowles. "We'll see how the week goes going forward, but we can get better at a lot of things that we need to work on, and we don't need our foot off the gas." Brady threw three touchdowns and ran another in on a QB sneak in Sunday's division-clinching win over the Carolina Panthers in what was one of the team's best performances on offense this year. Even though most of Tampa's starters will play this Sunday, don't expect them to stay in the game for long, including Brady.

  • Tom Brady Shreds Panthers For Four TDs In Week 17 Win

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady completed 34-of-45 passes for 432 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions and added three rushes for four yards and another score in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Carolina Panthers. The 45-year-old threw for a season-high 432 yards and now has multiple touchdown passes in four of the last six weeks. He connected with Mike Evans for three long touchdowns of 63, 57, and 30 yards. The GOAT snuck it in from the one-yard line with under two minutes remaining. Brady led the Bucs to another NFC South division title and will look to build on his impressive performance against the Falcons in the regular season finale.
