2 Josh Allen, BUF 7 25.3 3.09 28.5

Mike's Thoughts: It is well documented how much Allen worked after the 2019 season that led to a huge improvement in 2020. So, I'm not expecting him to backslide in 2021. He hasn't got the weapons of Patrick Mahomes (Travis Kelce) and plays in a tougher division, but I don't see the drop-off from Mahomes as that significant. Drafted Allen 4.05 (35) in a 1QB 10-team best ball on 7/20. Drafted Allen 5.08 (56) in RazzBowl on 7/27.

Tier 2
3 Lamar Jackson, BAL 8 24.8 5.03 25.0
4 Aaron Rodgers, GB 13 37.8 5.09 27.2

Mike's Thoughts: Rodgers moves up on the news he is expected to play for the Packers this season. I might move him ahead of Murray, who could run less, but still want to be a bit careful with Rodgers in case the saga takes yet another turn. Not a major concern but the Packers will be motivated to get Jordan Love some game action at some point. Drafted Rodgers 1.12 (12) in 12-team Superflex best ball (FFPC format) in early-August.

5 Tom Brady, TB 9 44.2 7.06 24.8

Mike's Thoughts: Drafted Brady 8.05 (75) in a 1QB 10-team best ball on 7/21. Drafted Brady 6.07 (67) in a 1QB 12-team PPR on 8/11.

6 Dak Prescott, DAL 7 28.2 6.03 30.4

Mike's Thoughts: Fantasy analysts are extremely bullish on Prescott given all of his weapons, a ridiculous start to the 2020 season before the ankle injury, and what looks to be a pretty poor defense. I'm a little more cautious since it seems premature expecting him to be fully healthy and in a good rhythm returning from that grewsome injury.

  • Aaron Rodgers - Week 5 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers bounced back from his disastrous Week 1 performance (0:2 TD: INT ratio) and owned an 8:0 TD: INT ratio over his last three games. The 37-year-old is an every-week starter and should produce against a mediocre Bengals pass defense (18th in DVOA against the pass). He has thrown for multiple touchdown passes in three straight games and will look to extend the streak to four on Sunday. Rodgers is a surefire QB1 and should remain in fantasy managers lineups in Week 5.

  • Aaron Rodgers Dials Up Three Touchdowns In Win

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 20-of-36 passes for 248 yards, one rushing touchdown and two passing touchdowns in the team's 27-17 win over the Packers. Rodgers had his way with a talented Steelers defense, getting the Packers on the board with a four-yard touchdown rush and finding receiver Randall Cobb in the red zone for two passing scores. Rodgers has shaken off a dismal Week 1 performance to re-assert his dominance as one of the elite fantasy quarterback options in the game.

  • T.J. Watt Practices In Full Thursday

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt (groin) was a full participant in practice on Thursday after he was limited on Wednesday. Watt was close to playing last week, but the team took the cautious route and held him out. We fully expect him to return to action in Week 4 in his return to his home state of Wisconsin to face the Green Bay Packers. Pittsburgh's defense/special teams is tied for dead last in overall fantasy points through two weeks, and they will be off the fantasy radar against a Packers offense capable of putting up plenty of points. But Watt's likely return this weekend will certainly make things more difficult on Aaron Rodgers and Company.

  • Aaron Rodgers Is Matchup-Proof

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will go up against a talented Steelers defense in Week 4. Rodgers has bounced back in a big way, passing for 516 yards with six touchdowns over his last two games after a disappointing season opener. He will go up against a Steelers defense that is missing key components and is allowing the 16th fewest fantasy points to opposing passers. The Steelers defense can give offenses problems but Rodgers is a matchup-proof QB1 for Week 4.

  • Aaron Rodgers Passes For Two Touchdowns In Victory

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 23-of-33 passes for 261 yards with two touchdowns in the team's 30-28 win over the 49ers in Week 3. After the sky was falling in Week 1, Rodgers has 516 passing yards and six touchdown passes over his last two games. The reigning MVP once again was dynamite in the red zone, finding receivers Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling for red zone scores. Rodgers and the Packers offense is back on track but may face a stiff test next week against the Steelers in Week 4.

  • Elgton Jenkins Will Miss Week 3 Due To Injury

Green Bay Packers left tackle Elgton Jenkins (ankle) has been deemed inactive for Sunday's contest against San Francisco. Jenkins' absence is a hefty one for the Packers, who will have to counteract a highly skilled 49ers defense. While Green Bay's immediate plan to replace Jenkins isn't clear, Yosh Nijman could step in for his first NFL start. Without Jenkins protecting his blindside, quarterback Aaron Rodgers could face a long evening of running from former Pro Bowl defensive end Nick Bosa, who has amassed four quarterback hits and three sacks in his first two games. The result could be quicker passes from Rodgers and/or an increased focus on the run game in an effort to minimize the impact of Jenkins' absence. His next chance at suiting up comes Week 4 vs. the Steelers.

  • Aaron Rodgers A QB1 Play Against 49ers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will take on the 49ers Sunday night in Week 3. After a horrid season opener, Rodgers bounced back with 255 passing yards and four touchdowns against the Packers in Week 2. Now he will face a 49ers defense that held the Eagles Jalen Hurts in check last week but allowed 338 passing yards to the Lions Jared Goff in Week 1. For all the doubters crying out that Rodgers and the Packers are already done this season, this matchup provides a quick litmus test to silence the critics. Rodgers needs to be in fantasy lineups and is a QB1 choice for Week 3.

  • Aaron Rodgers Bounces Back Against Lions

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 22-of-27 passes for 255 yards and four touchdowns in the Packers 35-17 victory over the Lions in Week 2. The sky was falling Week 1 but the reigning MVP methodically moved the ball down the field at will. He peppered running back Aaron Jones in the red zone for three touchdowns and found tight end Robert Tonyan for a fourth score. The Packers offense got all of its important offensive weapons going in this game which should bode well for the unit's fantasy prospects heading into Week 3.

  • Aaron Rodgers Primed For Bounce-Back Performance

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will have the perfect opportunity to put the team's porous Week 1 behind them against the Lions in Week 2. Detroit's defense was ripped up for 41 points in Week 1 against the 49ers and prized cornerback prospect Jeff Okudah is now out for the season with a torn achilles. Rodgers played terribly against the Saints to open the season but now will face a Lions defense that allowed the most fantasy points to opposing passers last season. The Lions allowed 38 passing touchdowns in 2020 and Rodgers gashed them for 530 yards, one rushing touchdown and five passing touchdowns in two games against them last season. The reigning MVP is set up for a huge game in Week 2.

  • Aaron Rodgers A QB1 Call Against Saints

Green Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will kick off his 17th season against the Saints in Week 1. The reigning MVP will take the field after an offseason loaded with controversy, trade demands and uncertainty. But with that all behind him, the 37-year-old will take on a Saints defense that allowed the sixth fewest fantasy points to opposing passers last season. The Saints surrendered only nine passing touchdowns over their final eight games in 2020 but Rodgers himself ripped them up for 283 yards and three touchdowns in Week 3. Rodgers is pretty close to being matchup-proof and needs to be in all fantasy lineups for Week 1.

  • Aaron Rodgers Has 'Super Bowl Or Bust' Mentality

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers spoke to reporters on Wednesday and characterized his expectations for the 2021 season. "Look, I think we all know what's at stake," Rodgers said. "It's Titletown. It's championship or disappointment just about every year." The reigning MVP is coming off a very tumultuous, complicated offseason where the veteran passer requested to be traded and almost retired. It is common knowledge that this is Rodgers' last season in Green Bay and clearly wants to go out with a bang. Rodgers will be among the top eight choices among quarterbacks for upcoming fantasy drafts.

  • Aaron Rodgers Almost Retired Before Camp

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers told the Dan LeBatard & Friends Podcast that he almost retired the weekend before training camp began. "I mean, I felt going into the weekend before camp that I was 50/50," said Rodgers. "I don't care if people don't believe that. That's true. There were some things that got me to 50/50 for sure, and you know I spent a couple of days in silence and meditation and contemplation and really felt like that I should come back." Rodgers has dominated the headlines during the offseason and fantasy managers are hoping he can dominate on the field one more time this season. The reigning MVP is not expected to play during the preseason.

  • Smooth Camp Thus Far For Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is back on the field and back to business as usual at Packers camp. After an offseason of drama and "will-he-won't-he", the reigning MVP is back to doing what he does best: lead a potent Packers offense. Early reports have confirmed that the 39-year-old has looked sharp early and often with one beat reporter characterizing Rodgers' connection with tight end Robert Tonyan as "unstoppable". Don't expect to see a lot, if any, game action from Rodgers in the preseason but will head into upcoming drafts as a top-five choice among fantasy quarterbacks.

  • Aaron Rodgers Officially Reports To Camp

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was seen walking into the Packers team facility as training camp opens for the team on Tuesday. It has been a roller-coaster offseason between the Packers and the reigning MVP but perhaps this is the first sign that the soap opera is over....for now. Green Bay's front office and Rodgers appear to have hammered out an agreement, with several unnamed concessions, that will have the 39-year-old playing half of his season at Lambeau Field for one more season. On the fantasy side, Rodgers still ranks as a high-end quarterback, with 40-plus touchdown upside, for the 2021 season.

  • Aaron Rodgers Expected To Play In Green Bay For 2021

The Green Bay Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers are reportedly close to an agreement that would bring Rodgers back to the Pack for the 2021 season while also clearing the way for Rodgers to leave the team for elsewhere in 2022. It's been a contentious offseason in Green Bay after Rodgers reportedly wanted out, but it appears the solution for now will be a shift in how Rodgers' contract works. The new deal would reportedly not allow for Green Bay to use any kind of franchise tags on Rodgers, clearing the way for one final season at Lambeau for the reigning NFL MVP. Rodgers led the NFL in touchdown passes and completion percentage last season, plus posted his third consecutive campaign leading the league in lowest interception rate. He's a high-end fantasy quarterback, even as he enters his age-38 season.

  • Aaron Rodgers Indicates He'll Play For Packers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has reportedly indicated to people close to him that he'll play for the Packers in 2021, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. The Rodgers situation has been an issue for months, will much speculation on if Rodgers would play with Green Bay this season, play somewhere else via trade, or retire. It sounds like Rodgers is leaning towards playing, which would be a huge boost for the Packers offense. Rodgers is a strong QB1 in Green Bay and Davante Adams should be locked in as the overall WR1 in fantasy drafts if this latest development ends up being the final resolution for the Rodgers situation. Of course, fantasy managers shouldn't count their chickens before they hatch here, as we want to see Rodgers actually in a Packers uniform before we're sure he'll be playing in Green Bay this season.

  • Aaron Rodgers Reportedly Turns Down Record Extension

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers reportedly turned down an extension that would have made him the highest-paid player in all of football. The reigning MVP and the organization remain at a stalemate, as the team remains adamant that he would not be traded. The 37-year-old didn't attend voluntary offseason training activities, and it's unknown whether he will be at training camp when it opens on Wednesday. If the star signal-caller isn't with Green Bay for the 2021 campaign, it would certainly lower the fantasy stock of Davante Adams, Aaron Jones, and Allen Lazard, among others.

  • Aaron Rodgers Rejected Offer From Packers This Offseason

The Green Bay Packers offered quarterback Aaron Rodgers a two-year contract extension this offseason that would have tied him to the team for five more seasons and made him the highest-paid QB and player in football, but he declined the offer. It shows that Rodgers really isn't about the money, and his relationship with the team's front office has really soured. There haven't been any other updates as to whether Rodgers will come back to the team in 2021, sit out the entire season or retire. Green Bay has been happy with the progress that second-year signal-caller Jordan Love has made this offseason, but he'd obviously be a massive downgrade for this entire offense if he were forced into the starting role in 2021. All of Green Bay's skill players and their fantasy value hinges on whether Rodgers will play for the Packers this year. Stay tuned.

  • Mystery Continues To Surround Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers still has the football world, and Green Bay nation, guessing with training camp right around the corner. The All-Pro passer has dropped hints that he will, indeed, play for the Packers in 2021 but nothing is set in stone. What does begin to appear unlikely is Rodgers sitting out next season. The 38-year-old is coming off perhaps his best season after throwing for a career-high 48 touchdowns to only five interceptions with 4,299 yards passing. It is safe to say, whoever Rodgers is under center for this season, the future Hall of Famer will be a top-eight selection among quarterbacks in upcoming drafts.
