Anders Carlson Not On Fantasy Radar Against Steelers
Green Bay Packers kicker Anders Carlson will go on the road to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10. The rookie has missed two field goals over the past three weeks and has converted multiple in three of eight games this year. The Packers offense is one of the worst in the league, and it has made the 25-year-old kicker impossible to trust for fantasy. This game against Pittsburgh has one of the lowest implied point totals of the week, capping Carlson's already low ceiling. Until we see Green Bay's offense start to score more often, there is no reason to force a rookie kicker into your fantasy lineups or DFS tournaments. Leave Carlson on the bench in favor of a better option this week.

Green Bay Packers kicker Anders Carlson will travel to Chicago to take on the Bears this Sunday. The rookie will make his NFL debut in a decent matchup against a less-than-stellar Bears defense. Chicago allowed the most points in the entire league in 2022, and while the defense is improved, they are not projected to be top-tier by any stretch. With that said, it is better to play it safe and leave the sixth-round NFL draft pick on the waiver wire to open the fantasy season. Carlson could become a viable streaming option down the road, but we need to see what he can do in the pros when the pressure is on before starting him. On top of that, the Packers are missing their top pass catcher, Christian Watson (hamstring), and could be without their No. 2 target, Romeo Doubs (hamstring). Leaving Carlson on waives is the safe bet this week.
