Jonathan Mingo Out In Week 4
Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Jonathan Mingo (concussion) has officially been ruled out for the Week 4 game on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. Mingo suffered a concussion in the Week 3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks and was unable to clear the concussion protocol before this Sunday's game. He was only able to get in a limited practice this week, so it remains to be seen if he'll be able to return for a Week 5 matchup against the Lions in Detroit. Mingo has gotten off to a slow start in his first three NFL games and is really only worth stashing in dynasty/keeper leagues for now. With Mingo out, Terrace Marshall Jr. should serve as Carolina's No. 3 wideout against Minnesota behind Adam Thielen and DJ Chark Jr.

According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, one of the reasons the Carolina Panthers selected rookie wide receiver Jonathan Mingo with the 39th overall pick in April's draft was because they thought he'd be a good fit with rookie first-round quarterback Bryce Young. Mingo is behind DJ Chark Jr. and Adam Thielen on the depth chart, but there's opportunity for him to pass them early on if Young looks his way enough. Carolina is hoping Young and Mingo can grow together in their roles and form a strong connection for years to come. The 22-year-old, who stands at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, caught 51 passes for 861 yards and five touchdowns in his final season at Ole Miss. Mingo is certainly worth a late-round flier in fantasy drafts.
