Dorian Thompson-Robinson Starting For Browns In Week 4
Cleveland Browns quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson will start in Week 4 with Deshaun Watson (shoulder) too injured to play, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Watson had been listed as questionable but will be held out as the Browns face the Ravens. Thompson-Robinson, a fourth-round rookie out of UCLA, completed 37 of 58 passes for 440 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions in the preseason but has not previously made an NFL start. That will change on Sunday, when Thompson-Robinson starts in place of Watson while ranking as a fantasy QB3.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson appears to be the favorite to win the backup QB job. This comes after fellow quarterback Joshua Dobbs was traded to the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday. Before that, head coach Kevin Stefanski called Dobbs the No. 2 QB on the roster before he was traded away. Now, Thompson-Robinson has a clear path to the backup job behind Deshaun Watson in Cleveland. The fifth-round rookie has done fairly well during the preseason. The assumption is that he won't have fantasy value behind Watson, but would be the next man up if an injury happens.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson completed 13 of his 25 passes for 164 yards and added 18 yards on four rushes in an 18-18 tie with the Philadelphia Eagles in preseason action on Thursday. Thompson-Robinson got the start and played the entire first half in Cleveland's third preseason contest. He protected the ball, not turning it over, and only took one sack in the game. The rookie quarterback appears to have moved ahead of Kellen Mond in the pecking order as the Browns head into their final preseason game next week against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson is slated to start the team's third preseason game on Thursday on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles. Most of the Browns starters will rest after two joint practices on Monday and Tuesday. Along with Thompson-Robinson, Kellen Mond will see action for the Browns under center on Thursday with Joshua Dobbs sitting out. Cleveland's starters should return to action in the preseason finale on Aug. 26 against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 23-year-old Thompson-Robinson has gone 17-for-21 for 184 yards and has also picked up 47 rushing yards on nine carries so far in the preseason. He looks to be the team's No. 3 QB right now behind Deshaun Watson and Dobbs.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson looked good in his first NFL action in his team's preseason opener against the New York Jets in the Hall of Fame game on Thursday. The rookie QB completed eight of his 11 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown while adding 36 yards on six carries in a 21-16 win. The fifth-round pick from UCLA's lone touchdown pass went to Austin Watkins in the second half while also showing his skills as a rusher, with his longest run going for 15 yards. Thompson-Robinson should continue to play a lot throughout the preseason as he looks to win the No. 2 quarterback job over veteran Kellen Mond.
