Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely was one of the trending pickups when Mark Andrews (quad) was ruled out, but didn't reward any managers that decided to start him. Against the Texans, Likely finished with just one catch for four yards. Lamar Jackson showed that he wasn't relying on just any tight end, as both Likely and Charlie Kolar only saw two targets total. Heading into Week 2 against Cincinnati, Likely doesn't seem to have the streaming value that he once had if Andrews had to miss another game.

Isaiah Likely A Sneaky DFS Play And Streamer

Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely looks like he will operate as Lamar Jackson's No. 1 tight end in the Week 1 game against the Houston Texans. Mark Andrews (quad) is not expected to play, meaning Likely will enter the fantasy radar as the 2023 NFL season kicks off. The 23-year-old caught two touchdowns in two games where Andrews was inactive and Lamar Jackson was active last season, so he's set up to be an interesting DFS play at his reduced cost and could be worth streaming in deep season-long fantasy leagues. There's a chance the Ravens get out to an early big lead and keep things on the ground, and its wide receiver group is as deep as it has been in the Lamar Jackson era. All that said, Likely isn't bust-proof, but has plenty of upside.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely was quiet in his first preseason action on Saturday. The former fourth-round pick hauled in both of his two targets for just two yards. Likely showed some promise as the TE2 behind Mark Andrews during his rookie year but will now have more competition for targets as the receiving corps improved greatly. His fantasy relevance will only be maximized if any sort of injury were to happen to Andrews.

He was being attended to after taking a big hit in the first quarter. After that, he headed to the locker room under his own power. It's uncertain what type of injury he's dealing with right now, but Likely is probably done for this game. Hopefully, the 23-year-old is only dealing with a minor injury. He's expected to have serve as the No. 2 tight end to begin the season.
