Tyler Allgeier Gets Eight Carries

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has taken a backseat in this offense over the last few weeks. It appears the Falcons are putting more faith in Bijan Robinson, which isn't a good sign for Allgeier's fantasy value. On Sunday, Allgeier rushed eight times for 26 yards in the win over the New York Jets. The Falcons weren't able to get anything going on offense during this game. Fantasy managers shouldn't count on a bounce back effort from Allgeier next week. He'll get a tough matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers solid run defense. Fantasy managers shouldn't consider Allgeier anything more than a touchdown-dependent option.

Tyler Allgeier A Shaky RB3

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has seen a reduced role in the offense over the last four games. In fact, Allgeier has seen 10 or fewer carries in three of those four contests. Fellow back Bijan Robinson has been seeing a bulk of the carries and is playing extremely well right now. That being said, the Falcons are likely going to continue giving Robinson nearly 20 carries per game. That means, Allgeier is probably going to fall into RB3 or a touchdown-dependent option in fantasy formats. He does have a decent matchup against the New York Jets in Week 13, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect too much from Allgeier.

Tyler Allgeier Sees Decreased Role Again

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier began the season splitting the backfield duties with rookie Bijan Robinson. However, it appears the Falcons are finally ready to let Robinson loose and he has been making the most of it. That means, Allgeier will become the No. 2 option and see a reduced role going forward. On Sunday, Allgeier rushed 10 times for 64 yards in the win over the New Orleans Saints. A majority of his carries came in the fourth quarter as the Falcons were just trying to run out the clock. He did average 6.4 yards per carry, but the volume is going to be the biggest concern going forward. Fantasy managers should consider Allgeier a touchdown-dependent RB3 heading into next week's matchup against the New York Jets.

Tyler Allgeier Avoidable For Week 12

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has been held to 39 rushing yards or less in each of the last three games. The young back has only scored one touchdown on the ground since the season opener. He also continues to lose snaps to emerging rookie back Bijan Robinson. That being said, it's tough to imagine Allgeier being a trustworthy fantasy option for Week 12. He'll get a New Orleans Saints defense that has defended well against the run all season long. At the moment, Allgeier shouldn't be considered anything more than a low-end flex option in deep leagues.

Tyler Allgeier Quiet In Loss

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier was unable to get much going on the ground this week. Fellow back Bijan Robinson saw a majority of the carries, which is a bit surprising. Normally, the Falcons split up the workload almost evenly, but that wasn't the case in Week 10. Allgeier rushed nine times for 31 yards in what ended up being a loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The fact Robinson did so well on the ground could mean they continue giving him an increased role going forward. Allgeier might not be much of a flex option anymore, but that remains to be seen what they do after the bye in Week 11.

Tyler Allgeier Has Flex Value For Week 10

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has seen double digit carries in four of the last five games. It's worth noting that Allgeier saw a majority of the end zone carries against the Minnesota Vikings last week. He was able to find the end zone for the first time on the ground since season opener. The expectation is that Allgeier will continue getting significant carries in this offense. He's normally not a great fantasy option, but does have a favorable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10. A defense that has allowed the fourth-most rushing yards this season. Fantasy managers should be able to count on Allgeier as a possible flex option for this upcoming game.

Tyler Allgeier Scores In Week 9 Loss

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier had a tough time getting anything going on the ground during the Week 9 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. In fact, Allgeier had negative yardage on the ground until the final five minutes of the game. He finished with 39 rushing yards on 12 carries with a touchdown as well. The Falcons continue to split up the carries between Allgeier and Bijan Robinson. That is likely to remain the gameplan going forward, so Allgeier should be able to carry some flex value heading into the Week 10 matchup versus the Arizona Cardinals.

Tyler Allgeier A Risky Flex Choice

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier was held to single digit carries for the third time this season last week. His usage has been all over the place this season, which is frustrating for fantasy managers. The Falcons continue to split up the workload between Allgeier and rookie back Bijan Robinson. However, Robinson is more of the lead back, so Allgeier doesn't always get a ton of work. That being said, Allgeier is tough to trust as anything more than a low-end flex option right now. He could have a tough time finding room to run against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9.

Tyler Allgeier Sees Limited Role In Loss

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier returned to his role as the backup in this backfield on Sunday. Allgeier saw 21 carries last week, but saw that number take a dramatic hit this week. The young back carried the ball eight times for 31 yards in the loss to the Tennessee Titans. Rookie back Bijan Robinson only saw 11 carries with the Falcons passing 34 times during this game. Allgeier has been a frustrating player to roster this season. He should remain in the mix, but don't expect anything more than a low-end flex option heading into next week's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

Tyler Allgeier Has Possible RB3 Value

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier saw a majority of the snaps in the backfield last week. The second-year back carried the ball 21 times for 59 yards in the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's worth noting that he saw an increased usage because lead back Bijan Robinson (illness) was kept on the sideline for a majority of the game. The expectation is that Robinson will resume his role as the lead back this week. That means, Allgeier should see a reduced role, but could still be productive versus the Tennessee Titans. Fantasy managers should consider Allgeier a possible RB3 for this upcoming Week 8 matchup.

Tyler Allgeier Rushes 21 Times

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier started with Bijan Robinson (illness) sidelined during Sunday's Week 7 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The second-year back saw 21 carries in this game with Cordarrelle Patterson as his primary backup. Sadly, Allgeier struggled on the ground with only 59 yards. He was able to somewhat salvage his fantasy value with three receptions for 53 yards through the air. The assumption is that Allgeier will return to his backup role next week with this likely being a one-game absence for Robinson. That means, Allgeier should be viewed as a RB3 or flex option for Week 8 against the Tennessee Titans.

Tyler Allgeier Has Low-End RB3 Value

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has continued to split up the workload in the backfield with rookie Bijan Robinson. The assumption was that Robinson would take over a majority of the snaps, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Allgeier has seen 13 or more rushing attempts in four of his six games this season. Sadly, he hasn't put together much fantasy value because lack of scoring and less involvement in the receiving game. Allgeier should still have enough value to warrant rostering in deeper formats. He'll be a low-end RB3 for the Week 7 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tyler Allgeier Goes Over 50 Yards

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier continues to split up the workload in the backfield with rookie Bijan Robinson. On Sunday, Allgeier actually looked better than Robinson on the ground. Allgeier rushed 13 times for 51 yards in the loss to the Washington Commanders. It could've been a better game for Allgeier, but he struggled to get into the end zone. The fact he isn't being targeted much in the passing game is hurting his fantasy value as well. He'll be a risky flex play for the Week 7 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tyler Allgeier Hopeful To Bounce Back

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier is looking for a bounce back outing after struggling during the Week 5 win over the Houston Texans. Allgeier rushed 17 times for 40 yards as he just wasn't able to find much success on the ground. The good news is, Allgeier continues to have significant involvement in the offense. The hope is that the double digit rushing attempts will eventually lead to success. Allgeier will have a favorable matchup against the Washington Commanders defense in Week 6. Despite that, he'll remain a risky flex play considering his lack of success lately.

Tyler Allgeier A Risky Choice For Week 5

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has seen his role continue to decrease as the season goes on. Last week, Allgeier saw only seven carries and two targets in what ended up being a blowout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The expectation is that Allgeier will continue to be involved, but his value is limited with Bijan Robinson there as well. The Falcons will likely continue to abandon the running game as soon as they get down big in games. That being said, Allgeier doesn't have a great long term outlook in terms of fantasy value. He'll be a risky RB4 for the Week 5 matchup against the Houston Texans.

Tyler Allgeier A Risky Option For Week 4

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier came out of the gate quick with a strong performance during the season opener. Since then, Allgeier has slowed down with only 60 yards on 23 carries over his last two games. That good news is, Allgeier appears to have a weekly role in this backfield. However, Bijan Robinson might continue to pull away as the lead back. That means, Allgeier might not have much fantasy value for long, assuming he doesn't pick up his performance. He won't be an ideal fantasy option for the Week 4 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Allgeier should be considered a RB4 for this game.

Tyler Allgeier - Week 3 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier was the RB4 overall in standard scoring formats in Week 1 but had a disappointing Week 2 effort with 16 carries for 48 yards. However, his workload is still respectable enough to roll the dice on him in FLEX spots, especially in the deep leagues. In Week 3 against the Detroit Lions, the Falcons will continue to adopt a run-first approach and should have success on the ground. Allgeier is dependent on touchdowns to pay off in fantasy football, but he should have a good chance at finding the end zone against a mediocre defense. His workload could be reduced as the season moves forward, so now is the time to get the value out of him in fantasy lineups.

Tyler Allgeier Sees Double-Digit Carries Again

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier rushed the ball 16 times for 48 yards in the team's 25-24 victory over the Green Bay Packers. It was once again a healthy workload for the RB2 in Atlanta, who saw 15 carries in Week 1. This time around, the former fifth-round pick didn't see much running space. His 3.0 yards per carry tied for the second-lowest number in any game in his short career. Also unlike Week 1, Allgeier failed to score. The workload is still encouraging and it appears he will continue to split work with rookie Bijan Robinson. He'll be considered a flex candidate in Week 3 against the Detroit Lions.

Tyler Allgeier - Week 2 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier was one of the league's biggest surprises in Week 1, finishing with two rushing touchdowns in a 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers. Allgeier saw more work than expected with Bijan Robinson in town, but it is apparent that the Falcons want to split the work between the two players. If Allgeier continues to be this involved in the Atlanta offense, he can be treated as a solid RB3/flex play moving forward. That will be where he can be projected for a Week 2 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

Tyler Allgeier Scores Twice Versus Panthers

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier shined in the Week 1 win over the Carolina Panthers. The 23-year-old ran the ball 15 times, totaling 75 yards and finding the end zone twice. Many had assumed Allgeier would disappear after the team drafted Bijan Robinson in the 2023 NFL Draft. However, it appears that's not the case. That said, Allgeier might cool off at some point moving forward. But after his potent showing during the opener, he should be starting in all fantasy formats in Week 2 versus the Green Bay Packers.
