  • Wan'Dale Robinson Listed As Starter On Giants Depth Chart

The New York Giants drafted wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson 43rd overall in this year's draft, which was a strange pick at the time, considering the plethora of receiving options they had. It was initially speculated that Robinson would replace Kadarius Toney, who was rumored to be traded. However, this never materialized, leaving both to compete for a role as a starter. Robinson was taking first-team repetitions and is currently being listed as a starter on the Giants unofficial depth chart. The uncertainty of quarterback Daniel Jones and the murkiness of this receiving core as a whole make it difficult to trust Robinson. That being said, if he emerges as the lead receiver, he would have more upside and be well worth a late-round pick in fantasy drafts.

  • Giants Rookie Wan'Dale Robinson In Line To Start?

The Giants have a number of options to choose from at receiver, each of whom is more experienced than Wan'Dale Robinson. The second-round rookie is currently making a case for a starting role right away, however.  As noted by The Athletic’s Dan Duggan (subscription required), Robinson is currently occupying a first-team role in training camp practices. • Wan'Dale Robinson Has Been Impressive In Camp

New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson has been a highly talked about player lately. He was recently seen taking first team reps, which is a bit surprising. Robinson was taken in a second round by the Giants. The Kentucky standout has reportedly been the star of training camp, according to Peter King. That being said, he is becoming a popular late-round selection in drafts this offseason. It's worth noting that the Giants do have Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney, and Sterling Shepard (Achilles) on their roster. Although, it's uncertain if Shepard is going to be ready by the beginning of the season. That being said, Robinson could start the season in the slot until Shepard is ready.

  • Wan'Dale Robinson Working Out Of Backfield

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson immediately was running with the first-team offense in training camp practice on Wednesday, and the New York Daily News' Pat Leonard also said he's frequently seeing Robinson lined up at running back with Saquon Barkley in the slot. Robinson has plenty of experience as a rusher from his time in college at Nebraska before transferring to Kentucky, and it's clear that the Giants like his versatility on offense. Keep in mind that Sterling Shepard (Achilles) isn't practicing, but Robinson could still have a big role in the offense alongside Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney in his first NFL season, particularly early in the year if Shepard isn't ready. Robinson is a rookie wideout on the rise and is worth a late-round flier in fantasy drafts.

  • Wan'Dale Robinson Working With First-Team Offense

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson was working with the first-team offense at practice on Wednesday alongside Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney. Keep in mind that Sterling Shepard (Achilles) opened training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list, but it's worth noting that Robinson is already ahead of Darius Slayton on the crowded receiver depth chart in New York. Shepard isn't a lock to be ready for Week 1, though, so Robinson could very well open the season in a starting role in three-receiver sets. The 21-year-old had 104 receptions for 1,334 yards and seven touchdowns at Kentucky in 2021 and could be a sneaky late-round addition in deeper fantasy leagues this year.

  • Giants Agree With Second-Rounder Wan'Dale Robinson

The New York Giants agreed to terms with second-round Kentucky wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson and fourth-round Iowa safety Dane Belton on their four-year rookie deals on Monday, according to sources. With the agreements, it wraps up New York's 2022 draft class, and they should all be finalized before training camp begins later this month. The Giants might have reached a bit on Robinson, but he's versatile and will give the team extra depth at a position that was decimated by injuries in 2021. The 21-year-old caught 104 passes for 1,334 yards and seven touchdowns last year in college, and he has plenty of after-the-catch ability. Robinson could have a bigger role if the Giants trade Darius Slayton, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to have a huge impact in his rookie year unless injuries strike the position again.

  • Wan'Dale Robinson, Daniel Bellinger Could Have Roles

New York Giants second-round rookie slot wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson could have a significant role, perhaps as a gadget player, even if he doesn't start. Fourth-round rookie tight end Daniel Bellinger saw plenty of work with the starters during spring workouts and could also become the team's No. 1 tight end if Ricky Seals-Jones falters. Sterling Shepard is recovering from a serious injury last year, and until he's back, Kadarius Toney will be the primary slot receiver. Robinson has a similar skill set to Toney and also has experience running the ball out of the backfield. At 5-foot-8, 178 pounds, Robinson's size could be a problem, but given all the injuries the Giants have dealt with at the position, he could find himself in a significant role in 2022.
