Detroit Lions kicker Riley Patterson has connected on all eight of his placekicking opportunities (seven extra points, one field goal) through the first two weeks of the regular season. Head coach Dan Campbell likes to roll the dice on fourth down rather than kicking a field goal, so Patterson will likely have a low floor all season. That said, he's nothing more than a low-end streaming option in the Week 3 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons.

Detroit Lions kicker Riley Patterson made his only field goal attempt and all four of his extra-point tries in the Week 2 overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The Lions offense should be one of the best units in the NFL, but head coach Dan Campbell often goes for a conversion on fourth down rather than trying a field goal, so Patterson has a low floor in all matchups. Until further notice, he won't be high on the fantasy football radar.

Riley Patterson - Week 2 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Detroit Lions kicker Riley Patterson did not attempt a field goal in the Week 1 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, but he does have upside in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks. Last week, Los Angeles Rams kicker Brett Maher attempted three extra points and five field goals against Seattle. If Patterson is set up for similar opportunities, he could post top-12 fantasy kicker numbers in Week 2. The 24-year-old could have plenty of value this season on a team with a high-end NFL offense, especially since he'll play most of his games indoors.
