Elijah Moore Catches Three Passes In Week 2 Loss

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore caught three of his nine targets for 36 yards in a 26-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2. Moore's nine targets were second on the team, just one behind Amari Cooper, but he and Deshaun Watson struggled to connect in the Monday night loss. Moore also picked up five yards on one carry in the contest. Moore's usage has been encouraging through the first two games of the season as he's drawn 16 targets from Watson. Moore will look to do more against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3.

Browns WR Amari Cooper Aggravates Groin Injury

The Browns may be down a receiver on Monday against the Steelers. Amari Cooper “aggravated” his groin during Saturday’s practice, according to coach Kevin Stefanski (via NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport). The wideout is considered questionable for Cleveland’s Week 2 matchup. After sitting out a practice earlier this week for a maintenance day, the veteran was […]

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore tied with Amari Cooper for the team lead in targets in a Week 1 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Moore will look to continue to carve out a significant role in the Cleveland passing attack in Week 2's Monday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers struggled to contain Brandon Aiyuk in Week 1, giving Moore and the rest of the Cleveland receivers hope for a big game in Week 2. Treat Moore as a low-end WR3 for Week 2.

Elijah Moore Leads Browns In Week 1 Receiving

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore caught three of his seven targets for 43 yards and added two carries for 19 yards in a 24-3 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1. Moore wound up leading the team in receiving in his Cleveland debut while tying for first in targets with Amari Cooper. The former New York Jets' usage with his new team was encouraging as it is clear that he will operate as the No. 2 WR for the Browns. He will be a solid flex option in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Elijah Moore A Solid Flex Option In Week 1

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore will make his debut for his new team in Week 1's home game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Moore, who came over in an offseason trade with the New York Jets, will look to carry over a mostly positive preseason as the expected No. 2 option in the Cleveland passing attack this season. The Bengals were solid against wideouts in 2022, allowing just the 21st-most fantasy points per game to the position. Moore is a solid fantasy option as a flex play in deeper leagues for Week 1.

Elijah Moore Catches Two Balls In Preseason Loss

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore caught two of his three targets for eight yards in a 33-32 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in preseason action on Saturday. Moore missed some time during the preseason thanks to a rib injury but his availability to play against the Chiefs on Saturday is a good sign. Moore earned praise early in camp this offseason and is expected to slot in as Cleveland's No. 2 receiver behind Amari Cooper. Moore is worth a look as a flex option in fantasy drafts this summer. He will now prepare to take on the Cincinnati Bengals at home in Week 1.

Offseason In Review: Cleveland Browns

After their historic and controversial acquisition of quarterback Deshaun Watson the Browns resided at the center of attention for much of 2022. A lengthy process of investigation by the NFL left Watson sidelined for 11 games, fueling in large part an underwhelming campaign for Cleveland both before and after his return. The Browns finished in […]

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore (ribs) returned to practice on Sunday, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. The wideout was sidelined since suffering a rib injury during the preseason meeting with the Washington Commanders and was day-to-day. With Stefanski also reporting that the starters would see action for the team's final preseason game against Kansas City on Saturday, Moore should be out there, barring a setback during joint sessions with the Chiefs throughout the week.

Elijah Moore Says He's Day-To-Day

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore (ribs) said that he's feeling good, his ribs are healing and that he's "day-by-day." Moore injured his ribs in the team's second preseason game last Friday against the Washington Commanders and was held out of Thursday's preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles with most of the rest of the team's starters. The 23-year-old was limited in joint practices with the Eagles this week and could return to full team drills this weekend. Even if Moore doesn't play in the preseason finale on Aug. 26 against the Kansas City Chiefs, he should be ready for Week 1 of the regular season. Moore is hoping to bounce back in 2023 with a change of scenery, and he should be targeted as a WR4/flex in fantasy drafts this fall.

Elijah Moore Not Playing Against Eagles

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore (ribs) is not going to play in the team's third preseason contest on Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Most of Cleveland's starters will sit this one out, including quarterback Deshaun Watson, receiver Amari Cooper and running back Nick Chubb. Moore is currently recovering from bruised ribs, but he has returned to limited practices at training camp. The 23-year-old should be ready for the Week 1 regular season opener as a starter in the Browns offense. The Browns plan to use Moore's speed in a variety of roles in his first year with the team and they've talked him up in the offseason, but he could struggle for consistent targets in a run-heavy offense. He's a decent target as a WR4/flex in fantasy as he looks to bounce back from a frustrating year in 2022.

Elijah Moore Back At Practice Tuesday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore (ribs) is back at practice on Tuesday after missing Monday's action. The Browns are practicing against the Philadelphia Eagles this week, so it's a great opportunity for Cleveland's offense to go against an elite defense from last season. Moore continues to be a popular sleeper selection ahead of 2023 fantasy drafts. If Deshaun Watson returns to form, he can support both Amari Cooper and Moore as at least top-36 fantasy wideouts.

Elijah Moore To Be Used In A Variety Of Roles

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore (rib) is going to be used in a variety of roles in his first year with the team in 2023. The Browns showed their hand right away in Friday's preseason game against the Washington Commanders. Moore lined up at receiver and also took a snap in the backfield, a handoff that went for 18 yards. "I'm sure it's been well reported that we want to use the kid in a bunch of different ways," head coach Kevin Stefanski said. "Teams know that we'll hand it to him, that we'll throw it to him. As you know, there's no shortage of plays." Stefanski compared Moore to Percy Harvin. The 23-year-old was also injured in the contest on Friday, but X-rays came back negative on his rib and he should be fine for Week 1. He'll be a nice target as a WR4/flex in PPR leagues this fall.

Elijah Moore Considered Day-To-Day

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore (ribs) is being labeled day-to-day after leaving Friday's preseason game against Washington early. Coach Kevin Stefanski added that he's unsure if Moore will practice this week against Philadelphia. Cleveland's offseason addition caught one pass for six yards and had an 18-yard run before leaving Friday's game. Moore is listed as a starter for the Browns alongside Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones, making him an interesting WR4/flex play in PPR leagues.

Elijah Moore Injures Ribs, Undergoes X-Rays

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore (ribs) injured his ribs in the first quarter of the team's preseason game on Friday night against the Washington Commanders, but X-rays came back negative, according to the team. Well that wasn't a great start for Moore, but at least it looks like an injury that shouldn't compromise his availability for the start of his first regular season in Cleveland. Before leaving, the 23-year-old caught one pass for six yards and had an 18-yard run. Moore had a really frustrating season in 2022 after a promising rookie year in 2021. A change of scenery should do him well as a starter in three-wide sets, but keep in mind the Browns still remain heavily committed to the run. Moore makes for an interesting WR4/flex in PPR leagues as long as he's ready for Week 1.

Latest On Browns' WR Corps

There is a lot of confidence around the Browns’ roster heading into the 2023 season. One of the positions of interest, though, is the wide receivers group.
