  • Najee Harris Declared Out With Abdominal Injury On MNF

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris left his team's Monday night game against the Indianapolis Colts with an abdominal injury and will not return. Harris injured himself during the second quarter of the contest and was ruled out shortly thereafter, leaving the backfield work for Benny Snell Jr. and Anthony McFarland Jr. Harris finishes his Week 12 contest with 10 carries for 35 yards and a touchdown while adding a four-yard catch. His status will be worth monitoring throughout the week as Pittsburgh gears up to face off against the Atlanta Falcons on the road in Week 13.

  • Najee Harris A Solid Play In Week 12

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris has been heating up of late, having run for 189 yards and two touchdowns over his past two contests. He will look to keep it going in Week 12's Monday night game against the Indianapolis Colts. Harris could see nearly all of the backfield touches in Week 12 as rookie Jaylen Warren (hamstring) is questionable after tweaking his hamstring against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. Consider Harris' matchup to be on the tougher side as the Colts are allowing the 15th-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs while their run defense ranks as the sixth-best in the league in DVOA. Treat Harris as a low-end RB1 heading into Week 12.

  • Najee Harris Scores Twice In Week 11

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball 20 times for 90 yards and two touchdowns while adding four receptions for 26 yards in a 37-30 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. Harris saw almost all of the backfield work in this one as rookie Jaylen Warren exited the contest with a hamstring injury after only one touch. Harris has struggled for much of the season but he has now rushed for at least 90 yards in two straight contests. The second-year running back will be a solid fantasy option against the Indianapolis Colts on the road in Week 12, especially if Warren is unable to recover from his hamstring injury in time to play.

  • Steelers Expect Najee Harris To Get Bulk Of Carries

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris has been fairly disappointing through his first nine games of the season. However, the 24-year-old rushed for a season-high 99 yards last week against the New Orleans Saints. The organization believes they've found the right formula for Harris. It sounds like the team plans on giving Harris the bulk of the carries against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. Harris didn't have much success against the Bengals earlier in the year. However, he was dealing with a knee injury at the time, so now we'll see what he can do fully healthy. He'll remain a RB2 for this game, but it's great to hear that the Steelers still have faith in him.

  • Najee Harris A Low-End RB2 In Week 11

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris ran for a season-high 99 yards in a Week 10 win over the New Orleans Saints. He will look to build upon that performance at home against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. The Bengals have been tough against the run in 2022, allowing just the 24th-most fantasy points per game to running backs and ranking 12th-best in DVOA against the run. Harris gained just 23 yards on 10 carries against Cincy back in Week 1 and is reportedly dealing with knee discomfort, leaving him as a low-end RB2 in fantasy heading into Week 11.

  • Najee Harris Logs Full Practice Wednesday

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. According to Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, Harris has some knee discomfort, although he doesn't expect it to be an issue for the Week 11 game against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals. The 24-year-old practiced in full Wednesday puts him on track towards suiting up against the Bengals in Week 11. He has rushed for 460 yards and a touchdown while catching 24 passes for 112 yards and two scores in nine games in 2022. Harris will be the Steelers' lead back and is considered a borderline RB2 against Cincinnati in Week 11.

  • Najee Harris Dealing With Knee Discomfort

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that running back Najee Harris (knee) has some knee discomfort, although he doesn't expect it to be an issue for the Week 11 game against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals. Fantasy managers should expect Harris to be limited somewhat in practices this week, though, but ultimately he should be available this weekend. The 24-year-old saw a season-high 20 carries for a season-high 99 rushing yards in the Week 10 win over the New Orleans Saints, while Jaylen Warren had a season-high nine carries for 37 yards. Barring a setback with Harris' knee, he should continue to be the team's lead back against Cincy, but he hasn't scored since Week 3 and will continue to lose valuable touches to the rookie in Pittsburgh's low-upside offense.

  • Najee Harris Runs For 99 Yards In Week 10

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball 20 times for 99 yards and was unable to catch his lone target in a 20-10 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 10. Harris' 99 rushing yards were a season-high, easily topping his previous best of 74 yards. The second-year running back was rumored to be getting his role scaled back earlier in the week but he still wound up out-touching Jaylen Warren 20 to 12 in the Sunday win. Harris will be on the RB2 radar in Week 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

  • Najee Harris A Low-End RB2 In Week 10

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris will be well-rested after his bye heading into a Week 10 home game against the New Orleans Saints. Harris has struggled in 2022, averaging just 3.34 YPC with just three total touchdowns through eight games. The Saints have been solid against running backs in 2022, allowing the 20th-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Harris has been losing playing time and touches to rookie Jaylen Warren, which along with a struggling Pittsburgh offense, has capped Harris' upside. Treat Harris as a low-end RB2 in fantasy heading into Week 10.

  • Najee Harris Catches Six Balls In Week 8

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball eight times for 32 yards and caught six of six targets for 26 yards in a 35-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8. Harris' 4.0 yards per carry is his second-best effort in that category this season, although the running game was not a priority with the Steelers getting blown out by the Eagles. His six catches did set a season-high, outdoing his previous high mark of five back in Week 2. Harris heads into the Week 9 bye with 361 yards on 108 carries and a touchdown on the ground. He will take on the New Orleans Saints at home in Week 10.

  • Najee Harris Has Tough Week 8 Matchup

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris is struggling to find room to run in 2022, averaging just 3.3 yards per carry through seven contests. He will look to break out in a Week 8 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road. The Eagles have an excellent defense, although they have been most vulnerable against running backs in fantasy, allowing the 17th-most fantasy points per game to the position in 2022. Harris may not be able to take advantage of this, however, as this game could get out of hand for the 10.5-point underdog Steelers in a hurry. Harris is a low-end RB2 in fantasy heading into Week 8.

  • Najee Harris Runs For 65 Yards In Week 7

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball 17 times for 65 yards and added 15 yards on three catches in a 16-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 7. Harris was bottled up for much of the night, with his 3.8 yards per carry his second-best mark in that category all year. The second-year running back is sitting on three total touchdowns on the season (one rushing) as he sinks into low-end RB2/high-end RB3 territory in fantasy. Things won't get much easier in Week 8 as he is scheduled to face off against a tough Philadelphia Eagles defense.

  • Najee Harris A Low-End RB2 In Week 7

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris has found little room to run in 2022 as he is averaging just 3.18 yards per carry on 83 totes in six games. He will look to break out against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7's Sunday night game. The Dolphins are allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to the running back position through six weeks, representing a decent matchup for the Pittsburgh running backs. Harris continues to see the majority of the touches in Pittsburgh's backfield, despite rumblings a few weeks ago that Jaylen Warren would cut into his work. Fantasy gamers can treat Harris as a low-end RB2 heading into Sunday night.

  • Najee Harris Finds The End Zone Vs. Buccaneers

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball 14 times for 42 yards while adding two catches for seven yards and a touchdown in a 20-18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6. Harris' touchdown catch came on a six-yard pass from Kenny Pickett in the first quarter and effectively salvaged his fantasy output for the afternoon. The veteran running back continues to find little room to run, but he now has three touchdowns in six games in 2022. Harris will be a low-end RB2 in a plus matchup against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7.

  • Najee Harris Draws Tough Matchup In Week 6

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris is off to a slow start in 2022, having gained just 222 yards on 69 rushes while adding 13 catches for 64 yards. Harris draws a difficult matchup in Week 6 as he will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa Bay is allowing the second-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs through five games. Harris has also been losing work to rookie Jaylen Warren, which has been a cause for concern for fantasy managers. Treat him as a low-end RB2/high-end RB3 heading into Week 6.

  • Najee Harris Bottled Up In Week 5 Loss

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball 11 times for 20 yards and added 16 yards on three catches in a 38-3 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 5. The game was a disaster for the Steelers, who has no answers against one of the top teams in the NFL in the Bills. Harris couldn't get anything going, with his longest run going for just six yards. Shaping up as an early-round bust in fantasy, the second-year running back will hope to bounce back in Week 6, although he draws another tough matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

  • Najee Harris Draws Tough Matchup In Week 5

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris will head on the road to take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 4. Harris is off to a slow start in 2022, averaging just 3.48 yards per carry through the first four games. The Bills have been tough on opposing running backs this season, allowing the 10th-fewest fantasy points per game to the position thus far. The installation of Kenny Pickett at quarterback should help open up the offense in Pittsburgh, which helps Harris, but this is a tough matchup for him. Treat Harris as a low-end RB2 in fantasy for Week 5.

  • Najee Harris Sees 18 Carries In Week 4

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball 18 times for 74 yards and was not targeted in the passing game in a 24-20 loss to the New York Jets in Week 4. Harris' goose egg in the passing game comes as a bit of a surprise as he is usually relatively active in that portion of the game. The second-year running back has yet to put together a big game but he has been productive enough for fantasy, having scored two touchdowns through his first four games. He will be a low-end RB1 in Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills.

  • Najee Harris' Week 4 Outlook For Fantasy Football

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris scored his second touchdown in 2022 in a Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He will look to find the end zone again in a Week 4 matchup at home against the New York Jets. Harris has been slow to get things going on the ground in 2022, averaging just 3.2 rushing yards per carry, but he routinely draws one of the largest running back workloads in the league. The Jets have struggled against enemy running backs in 2022, allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game to the position. Treat Harris as a low-end RB1 for Week 4.

  • Najee Harris Finds The End Zone In Week 3

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris carried the ball 15 times for 56 yards and a touchdown while adding three receptions for five yards in a 29-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 3. Harris' touchdown came on a five-yard run in the first half where he bulldozed Cleveland safety John Johnson III at the goal line for the score. The second-year running back was credited with a fumble when the Steelers were attempting to lateral the ball on the final play of the game. Harris seems to be over the foot issue that forced him from the game in Week 1 as he handled all but four of the running back carries in the loss. Harris will be a low-end RB1 in Week 4 against the New York Jets.

  • Najee Harris' Week 3 Outlook For Fantasy Football

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris returned from a Week 1 foot injury to log 15 carries and five receptions in a Week 2 loss to the New England Patriots. Harris has been slow out of the gates in 2022, averaging just 2.9 yards per carry through two games. He will look to break out against the Cleveland Browns on the road in Week 3's Thursday game. Harris performed well against the Browns in 2021, posting 279 rushing yards, two touchdowns, and six catches across two games. Harris can be trusted as a low-end RB1 in fantasy for Thursday night.

  • Najee Harris Will Play In Week 2

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (foot) was removed from the Week 2 injury report and will play on Sunday against the New England Patriots. Harris was limited in practice on Wednesday, but he practiced in full the last two days and is good to go after aggravating his foot injury in the Week 1 overtime win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The 24-year-old led the league in touches in his rookie season in 2021, but he carried the ball just 10 times for 23 yards (2.3 yards per tote) and added two catches for three yards and a score in Week 1. He should see more usage in Week 2, although the Patriots held the Dolphins to just 18 rushing attempts and 43 yards in the season opener. Because of the chance that Harris is limited this weekend, fantasy managers should consider him more of an RB2.

  • Najee Harris Practices Fully On Thursday

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (foot) got in a full practice on Thursday as his team gears up for a home matchup against the New England Patriots in Week 2. Harris left his team's Week 1 matchup early with a foot injury and practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday, but his upgrade on Thursday bodes well for his ability to suit up on Sunday. That being said, the Patriots represent a tough matchup for Harris as they allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs in 2021 and held Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert to just 41 yards on 17 combined carries in Week 1. Treat Harris as a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 in fantasy for Week 2.

  • Najee Harris Gets In Limited Practice

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (foot) was limited in practice on Wednesday after suffering a foot injury in the Week 1 overtime win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Harris said "it's good" and doesn't seem to be worried at all about missing Week 2 against the New England Patriots. However, head coach Mike Tomlin said he wants to see more from Harris this week before his status is determined for Sunday. "Naj is really optimistic," said Tomlin. "It's good to be young. He appears to be in position, but he's going to have to practice and prove his readiness." The 24-year-old apparently aggravated a Lisfranc injury that he dealt with in training camp. As long as Harris doesn't suffer a setback later this week, there's a good chance he'll suit up in Week 2, where he'll be a must-start fantasy back. Those that have Harris rostered should scoop up rookie Jaylen Warren off the waiver wire as insurance.

  • Najee Harris Says He'll Play In Week 2

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (foot) is pretty confident that he'll play in Week 2 against the New England Patriots after aggravating his Lisfranc foot injury late in the Week 1 overtime win over the Cincinnati Bengals. "I'll be back at practice this week, and then I will be playing this weekend," Harris said Tuesday. Harris had only 10 carries for 23 yards and caught two passes for three yards and a touchdown in the season opener. Rookie Jaylen Warren is the handcuff for Harris in case he misses any time this season, with Benny Snell Jr. No. 3 on the RB depth chart. However, receiver Chase Claypool was second in rushing attempts for Pittsburgh last Sunday. There's a good chance that Harris is questionable for Week 2, so fantasy managers need to have a backup plan in place just in case.

  • Najee Harris "Should Be Good To Go" For Week 2

Tests on Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris' foot came back negative on Monday, and there is a belief that he "should be good to go" for a Week 2 matchup against the New England Patriots, according to a source. Harris dealt with a Lisfranc sprain to the same foot during training camp, and it's believed this was just a minor aggravation of that injury. Last year's leader in touches carried just 10 times for 23 yards and caught both of his targets for three yards and a touchdown in Week 1's overtime win over the Cincinnati Bengals. We'll need to keep a close eye on Harris' practice status this week, but as of now, his fantasy managers have to consider this a huge win. If Harris is limited or inactive in Week 2, rookie Jaylen Warren would be in line for lead-back duties, with Benny Snell Jr. backing him up.

  • Najee Harris, Steelers Are Optimistic About His Injury

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (ankle, foot) suffered an apparent ankle/foot injury late in the team's Week 1 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Harris rolled his ankle in the contest after recovering from a Lisfranc sprain he sustained in training camp. Luckily, the injury does not seem to be significant and the Steelers are hopeful that he will be fine. Jaylen Warren was the only other running back with a touch in Sunday's game and will start in Week 2 if Harris is unable to go.

  • Najee Harris Ruled Out For Rest Of Week 1

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (foot) was injured late in the fourth quarter of the Week 1 matchup against Cincinnati. While it was reassuring that he limped off the field under his own power, he dealt with a Lisfranc injury during training camp, adding an extra element to the situation. Overall, the 24-year-old struggled on the day, finishing with only 23 yards off 10 touches and two catches for three yards. Nevertheless, there could be an update on his condition soon. However, fantasy managers should prepare for Week 2, and it wouldn't be surprising if Harris misses time. If that's the case, rookie Jaylen Warren appears to be the favorite to take over out of the backfield, although Benny Snell Jr. may also be involved.

  • Najee Harris A Low-End RB1 In Week 1

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris will open the season with a road matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1. Harris dealt with a Lisfranc injury throughout training camp but he is reportedly healthy and should see yet another huge share of the backfield carries in Pittsburgh in 2022. The second-year running back had a tough time against the Bengals in 2021, rushing 22 times for 63 scoreless yards across two games. That being said, the Bengals aren't the type of defense to bench your fantasy running backs against. Harris can be trusted as a low-end RB1 for Week 1.
