  • Raiders Defense Not A Recommended Option In Week 12

The Las Vegas Raiders defense draws a tough road matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12. The Seahawks have been excellent on offense this season, averaging the fifth-most points per game and the 10th-most yards of total offense. The Raiders, meanwhile, have not been a very good fantasy defense, ranking dead last in the league with just 13 sacks and 29th with only three interceptions. The Seahawks are 3.5-point home favorites in a game with a high over/under set at 47.5 points. The Raiders' defense is a unit to avoid from a fantasy perspective heading into Week 12.

  • Raiders Defense A Low-End Option In Week 11

The Las Vegas Raiders defense will face off against quarterback Russell Wilson and the struggling Denver Broncos in Week 11. While this may seem like a perfect matchup to stream a defense against, it's hard to recommend such a poor unit. The Raiders are a top-5 matchup for both quarterbacks and running backs and have recorded just 10 sacks total in 2022. You can certainly do better than them as a streaming defense, regardless of the matchup.

  • Raiders Defense Records One Sack, One Fumble Recovery

The Las Vegas Raiders' defense is far from an elite unit, and its fantasy defense and special teams unit didn't pay off for fantasy managers who streamed it. The matchup looked juicy as the Colts' offensive line has struggled all season, but the Raiders were limited to just one sack and one fumble recovery in the Week 10 game. Jonathan Taylor rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown, and Matt Ryan threw for 222 yards and zero interceptions. The Raiders' defense will get another solid matchup against the Denver Broncos next week, but they're still far from the fantasy radar.

  • Raiders Defense A Potential Streamer Against The Colts

The Las Vegas Raiders' defense/special teams have been brutal this season, allowing 25.1 points (27th in the NFL) and 371.3 (28th in the NFL) total yards per game. Las Vegas has a plus matchup against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10. Sunday's game between the Colts and Raiders has an over/under of 42.5 points, with Indianapolis having an implied total of just 18.5 points. Fantasy managers looking for a potential DST streamer can use the Raiders, as the Colts' offense has sputtered this season, averaging 14.7 points per game, last in the NFL.

  • Raiders Defense Not An Ideal Option In Week 7

The Raiders defense is entering the week allowing 26 points per game to its opponents in 2022-23. That puts the unit behind only Seattle, Cleveland, New Orleans, and Detroit for the worst season average thus far. While the Texans certainly don't possess the league's most explosive offense, the team still has some potent playmakers, notably rookie Dameon Pierce and wideout Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins. Unless desperate, fantasy managers may want to look elsewhere for a defense heading into Week 7.

  • Raiders Defense Picks Up Three Sacks In Week 5

The Las Vegas Raiders defense struggled in a 30-29 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5. The Raiders built a 20-10 lead at halftime, only to allow the Chiefs to score 20 points in the second half to complete a comeback win. Las Vegas finished with three sacks but was unable to record a turnover in the divisional loss. The Raiders will have a chance to rest up during their bye in Week 6 before they draw a plus matchup against the Houston Texans in Week 7.

  • Raiders Defense Not A Great Week 4 Fantasy Option

The Las Vegas Raiders defense has struggled to open the 2022 season as they have allowed 25.7 points per game, eighth-most in the NFL, through three games. They will face the Denver Broncos at home in Week 4, and although the new-look Broncos are yet to impress on offense, this could be a get-right game for Russell Wilson and company. With another divisional matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs on deck and a bye following in Week 6, the Raiders DST can be left on fantasy waiver wires.
