  • Expect Plenty Of James Robinson Carries In Week 12

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back James Robinson continues to be one of the biggest workhorse backs in the NFL this season. He's seen 17 or more carries in four consecutive games, with at least 3.96 yards per carry and two targets in each of those. Volume alone makes Robinson a matchup-proof RB2 play every week.

  • James Robinson Has Acceptable Outing In Week 11

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson racked up 73 yards off 17 carries during the loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday. He also added two catches for 21 yards. The 22-year-old was the team's only source of production against a smothering Steelers Defense that forced Jake Luton to throw four interceptions. Robinson should continue to have his number called often moving ahead, primarily until Gardner Minshew II (thumb) can return to open up things on the passing end. Fantasy managers should keep him rolling.

  • James Robinson Has More Risk Than Usual In Week 11

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson has been one of the most consistent backs in football this year and is currently in the midst of a strong run of three games in which he's averaged 23.3 attempts for 109 yards and 0.7 touchdowns. His role has been bolstered by the Jags playing three close games in a row. But now, they face the undefeated Steelers in a game where things could get out of hand, leading to a negative game script for Robinson. You should still play him as an RB2 in season-long leagues, but have to acknowledge that there's a lot more risk than there usually would be.

  • James Robinson Gets Plenty Of Work In Week 10

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson ran for 109 yards off 23 attempts during the loss to Green Bay on Sunday. He also had two catches for three yards. The 22-year-old has played well most of the year but has picked things up over the last three weeks, racking up 70 carries for 327 yards and two scores during that span. With the team looking his way more often than usual to take some pressure off rookie signal-caller Jake Luton, expect Robinson to get some extra work until Gardner Minshew II (thumb) returns.

  • James Robinson In Line For Strong Week 10

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson should be in all the fantasy lineups in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers. The Pack are allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs and Robinson has been a real bellcow back for this team lately, with over 20 carries and a touchdown in each of the team's last two games. While his lack of involvement in the passing game in Week 9 introduces some slight concern, Robinson should be deployed as a low-end RB1 play in a game where he'll likely be leaned on significantly in the first half.

  • James Robinson Plays Well In Week 9

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson had 99 yards and a touchdown off 25 carries during the loss to the Texans on Sunday. The rookie came in handy and helped take some of the pressure off the debuting Jake Luton, who had over 300 yards passing and a touchdown. With Gardner Minshew II (thumb) potentially out of the equation for the foreseeable future, Robinson may have continue to have his number called more often moving ahead. He will look to keep it going next weekend against the Green Bay Packers.

  • James Robinson Scores Pair Of Touchdowns

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back James Robinson scored a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He had 22 carries for 119 yards and one score, then added 18 receiving yards and a touchdown on four receptions. Really the only consistent source of production on this Jaguars team, Robinson is a pretty dependable RB2 play this point thanks to the lack of competition for touches on this offense.

  • James Robinson Continues To Be A Must-Start In Week 7

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson has struggled a bit in his past two games. He averaged 3.7 yards per carry against the Houston Texans in Week 5 and 2.4 yards per carry against the Detroit Lions in Week 6. Regardless, his workload has been significant enough to make up for the low efficiency. He's continued to be extremely active in the passing game. He has nine catches on 11 targets over the past two games. Plus, no other Jaguars running back is seeing much action at all. The team's No. 2 back Chris Thompson didn't have a single carry in Week 6. Start Robinson as a solid RB2 in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Chargers. He should be able to gain around 80 total yards from scrimmage with a good chance to score a touchdown in the game.

  • James Robinson Catches Touchdown Against Lions

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson had his worst game on the ground of his rookie season on Sunday, carrying the ball 12 times for just 29 yards in a loss to the Detroit Lions. However, he salvaged his day from a fantasy perspective by catching four passes for 24 yards and the team's only receiving touchdown. Still, it was a pretty disappointing game for Robinson, who consistently struggled to make things happen when he had the football.

  • James Robinson's Role Continues To Rise

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson remains in the RB2 conversation due to his increased workload on the ground and in the passing game for this Jags team, as he's had 17 touches or more in each game and saw a season-high seven targets last week. An even bigger factor this week, though, may be the defense that he'll be facing, as the Lions are allowing more fantasy points per game to opposing running backs than any other team in the league. All this is setting up to make Robinson a great play in both season-long and DFS contests.

  • James Robinson Fails To Score In Week 5

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back James Robinson had a middling Week 5 performance against the Houston Texans. Robinson had 13 carries for 48 yards and caught five passes for 22 yards. It wasn't a bad performance for Robinson, though Houston's struggles on run defense had fantasy managers expecting a stronger game from the first-year rusher. He's still a solid RB2 play moving forward, but in games where Jacksonville trails, Robinson can be game scripted out of things a little.

  • James Robinson A Strong Week 5 Play

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson is a must-start option against the Houston Texans in Week 5. Robinson has topped 100 scrimmage yards in three consecutive contests, serving as Jacksonville's top weapon on the ground and as the lead receiving back as well. Houston allows the second-most fantasy points to opposing running backs, setting this up to be a great outing from Robinson. Start him as an RB2 with full confidence.

  • James Robinson Maintains Lock On Lead Role

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson received 17 of the team's 20 carries in their Week 4 loss to the Bengals, rushing for 75 yards. He also caught four passes for 32 yards. With Chris Thompson not receiving a single touch or target, it's time to officially trust Robinson as a three-down back for this team. Consider him a fantasy RB2 moving forward due to his workload.

  • James Robinson Has Plus Matchup In Week 4

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson has three touchdown runs in the past two games and has seen a marked increase in his passing game usage over the course of the season, catching six passes against Miami. He gets a solid Week 4 matchup against the Bengals, who are allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. Robinson's coming off a game in which he had 17 touches; if he gets that many again against this weak Bengals run defense, we'll be looking at another good performance for the undrafted rookie. Consider him an RB2 option this week.

  • James Robinson Scores Both Jaguars Touchdowns

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson was the only consistent source of production in Thursday's loss to the Miami Dolphins. The undrafted rookie ran the ball 11 times, finishing with 46 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also led the team in receptions, catching six of them for 83 yards. Robinson might be the only player who can be a weekly starter on this offense right now and should be considered a fantasy RB2 going forward. Even when the Jaguars offense looks like a train wreck, Robinson manages to get his numbers.

  • James Robinson Is Solid Play In Week 3

Fresh off his first 100-yard game, Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson is set for another solid performance in Week 3, as the Jaguars take on the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night. Robinson's lack of passing game usage limits his overall ceiling, though he did see a larger role as a receiver in Week 2. He's received 32 carries through two games, giving him a high floor due to volume. Expect another game of Robinson receiving a large number of touches and feel comfortable deploying him as an RB2 option for this meeting with a banged-up Dolphins Defense.

  • James Robinson Has Huge Game Against Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson cemented his role as the team's No. 1 back in Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans, rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. He added three catches for 18 yards as well. While Chris Thompson will continue to see passing down work and wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. will get work in the backfield as well, Robinson is going to see the bulk of the work, making him a solid flex option moving forward, especially in standard scoring leagues.

  • James Robinson Has Flex Appeal In Week 2

Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson had a strong NFL debut in Week 1, rushing for 62 yards on 16 carries and adding a 28-yard reception. He played 68 percent of Jacksonville's snaps. While this Week 2 game against the Titans isn't prime for Robinson to have a breakout performance, his projected role gives him a relatively high floor and makes him worth a look as a fantasy flex option. No one else on the active roster right now should challenge Robinson for the job as the early-down back.

  • James Robinson Is Solid In NFL Debut

Jacksonville Jaguars undrafted free agent running back James Robinson came out of nowhere to become the starting running back for the Jags in Week 1. He responded with a solid game, carrying the ball 16 times of 62 yards and catching his only target for 28 yards. Robinson should have already been added in most fantasy leagues, but if he's on the waivers in yours this week, he should be a high-priority add. Chris Thompson only had two touches, and no one else on this roster seems good enough to challenge Robinson as long as he keeps playing solid football.

  • James Robinson Could Be Interesting Week 1 DFS Play

The Jacksonville Jaguars backfield is a mess right now, but undrafted free-agent running back James Robinson appears to be the starter for the team. Because we don't have much to go on this week, starting Robinson in season-long formats seems like a tough call, but he's an interesting DFS option for fantasy managers who are looking to differentiate their lineups from everyone else's. The Colts were good against the run last year, which limits Robinson's upside, but if you're looking for a dart throw at the position, Robinson is intriguing. In season-long leagues, consider him a deep league flex option, at best.
