  • Gabriel Davis Was Bills' Best Pass-Catcher In Scrimmage

Buffalo Bills starting wide receiver Gabriel Davis was the "best pass catcher on the field" during the team's scrimmage on Friday evening, writes Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic. Davis ran a variety of routes and got open more often than not, catching five of six targets for 76 yards and a touchdown. The lone incompletion thrown his way was a 25-yard pass at the left side of the end zone. Davis caught the ball but only got one foot down in the process. The 24-year-old's success on Friday has to please fantasy managers after Davis was one of the most hyped-up players this offseason. His ADP has risen from 86 in February to 51 today. He has totaled 70 catches, 1,148 yards, and 13 touchdowns through two pro seasons but is expected to see an increase in usage now that he has risen to No. 2 on the depth chart (behind Stefon Diggs).

  • Can Gabe Davis seize opportunity after years of waiting?

The Bills receiver worked in a reserve role his first two seasons but is set for the No. 2 spot behind Stefon Diggs.

  • Sean McDermott Has Total Confidence In Gabriel Davis

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis has earned "total confidence" from his head coach Sean McDermott as the team opened up training camp on Monday. "From Day 1, he's made plays. He worked, he worked, he worked. When he was given his shot he made the most of it." Davis figures to slot in as the Bills' second option in the passing game now that Emmanuel Sanders and Cole Beasley are no longer on the team, but McDermott mentioned that the 23-year-old still has to "earn it." After Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, Davis would be the third-most valuable piece in this high-powered Buffalo passing attack should he officially earn that No. 2 role. Still, he figures to be best valued as a WR3 for fantasy managers, but there is obviously a ton of upside in drafting the potential breakout candidate.

  • Gabriel Davis Bulks Up

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis, who is listed at 210 pounds, is up to 227 pounds this offseason, according to his trainer. It remains to be seen if the added muscle will help or hurt Davis as he heads into a much bigger role in Buffalo's passing attack alongside Stefon Diggs now that both Emmanuel Sanders and Cole Beasley are gone. The 23-year-old has averaged 16.4 yards per catch in his two NFL seasons and could truly break out in his third NFL season while working with quarterback Josh Allen. While many are expecting a big jump in 2022 after he exploded for an 8-201-4 receiving line in the AFC Championship loss to the Chiefs last year, Davis could remain an inconsistent boom/bust deep threat as a WR3 for fantasy managers.

  • Latest On Bills' WR Competition

The Bills are in line to once again have one of the league’s most prolific passing attacks in the NFL in 2022. • Gabriel Davis' Stock On The Rise

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis continued to be a consistent target for quarterback Josh Allen at mandatory minicamp practice on Tuesday, and he is stepping back into a starting role as the No. 2 wideout after spending most of last year backing up veteran Emmanuel Sanders. Davis has caught 35 passes each of the last two years, and he had 201 receiving yards in the AFC Championship loss to the Chiefs. The 23-year-old isn't expected to have a challenger for the role in training camp, and it's been obvious all spring that Allen has faith in Davis. "The dude just works," Allen said of Davis. "He just works hard. He's a great dude. Selfless." Davis will be a great WR3 target with plenty of upside in 2022 fantasy drafts.
