Adam Trautman Still Off The Fantasy Radar

Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman caught his second touchdown pass of the year in the Week 12 victory over the Cleveland Browns, but the eight-yard, highlight-reel grab was his only target of the game. He'll have a nice matchup in Week 13 against a Houston Texans defense that has been a top-10 matchup for opposing TEs this season, allowing the third-most receiving yards (739). The Broncos could have some more success through the air this weekend in Houston, but Trautman still shouldn't be a consideration as a streamer at the position, even with six teams on bye in Week 13. The 26-year-old ranks 35th among all TEs with 32.5 half-PPR point on the season. Trautman has only 16 receptions on the year for 125 yards in 11 games and is averaging 5.43 yards per target.

Adam Trautman Scores For Second Time This Year

Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman had a highlight-reel sliding touchdown catch on his only reception of the game in the team's 29-12 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in Week 12. The referees initially ruled the play incomplete before replay review confirmed that Trautman had his shin down in bounds while securing the eight-yards score to help put the game away for Denver in the second half. It was Trautman's only target of the contest in a game in which quarterback Russell Wilson only threw the ball 22 times. Despite Trautman reeling in his second touchdown catch of the year, he should remain on the waiver wire in the majority of fantasy leagues heading into a Week 13 matchup against the Houston Texans, even if Greg Dulcich (hamstring) remains out. Trautman doesn't have more than two targets in a game since Week 5.

Continue To Avoid Adam Trautman In Fantasy

Despite serving as the Denver Broncos' top pass-catching tight end all year with Greg Dulcich (hamstring) hurt, Adam Trautman has failed to make any noise. His two-catch, 34-yard performance in last Sunday night's 21-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings was his second-best performance of the season. That's really all you need to know. Trautman has just 15 catches for 117 yards and one touchdown on 22 targets through 10 games. The 26-year-old has come away with zero fantasy points in four games in 2023. He figures to be limited in his involvement as a pass-catcher in Week 12 against the Cleveland Browns, too. The Browns defense is the best in football and they allow the fewest half-PPR fantasy points per game (4.6) to the tight end position, including just two TDs all year.

Adam Trautman Nowhere Near The Fantasy Radar

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) is still out with an injury, but it hasn't made Adam Trautman fantasy relevant at all in 2023. Trautman continues to lead the way in tight end snaps with Dulcich injured, but it's led to minimal production as a pass-catcher in a Broncos offense that has been leaning more heavily on the run since their three-game winning streak began in Week 7. The 26-year-old wasn't even targeted in Week 8's win over the Kansas City Chiefs and he has failed to catch a pass in four of nine games. In nine contests total in 2023, Trautman has a measly 13 receptions (20 targets) for 84 yards and one touchdown. He needs to remain on your league's waiver wire for the Week 11 tilt in primetime on Sunday night in Denver versus the Minnesota Vikings.

Adam Trautman Not On The Fantasy Radar

Fantasy managers shouldn't have Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman on their roster, let alone in their starting lineup for the Week 10 game against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night. Trautman remains Denver's top pass-catching tight end with Greg Dulcich (hamstring) still on Injured Reserve, but he enters Week 10 action not even in the top 50 at the tight end position in half-PPR fantasy points per game. The 26-year-old is more of a blocker than a pass-catcher and has just 11 catches on 18 targets for 69 yards and one touchdown in eight games. Trautman wasn't even targeted in the Week 8 upset win over the Kansas City Chiefs, and he doesn't have more than one catch in a game since Week 5.

Broncos Expect TE Greg Dulcich To Return This Season

Although the Broncos are healthier than they were at this point last season, the team has not seen much of its top receiving tight end. Denver activated Greg Dulcich from IR in October, only to see the 2022 third-round pick aggravate his hamstring injury and need to return to the injured list. Dulcich began last […]
Nov 10 · Pro Football Rumors Denver Broncos Greg Dulcich Adam Trautman Russell WilsonAdam Trautman Not Playable Despite Greg Dulcich's Injury

Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman will have more pass-catching opportunities in Week 7 against the Green Bay Packers with Greg Dulcich (hamstring) missing another game, but the 26-year-old should remain on your league's waiver wire. Trautman is the overall TE38 in half-PPR points this year (17.4). Dulcich already missed four games while on Injured Reserve, and Trautman didn't exactly take advantage of it, catching just four of nine targets for 26 yards and a touchdown in that span. It included a stretch from Weeks 2-4 where Trautman didn't have a single catch on four targets. The Broncos offense has been able to sustain just one consistent pass-catcher this year. Stay away from Trautman.

Greg Dulcich Ruled Out For Sunday Against The Packers

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 7 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. The second-year tight end was activated from IR prior to last Thursday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs but he quickly re-aggravated his hamstring and was ruled out. He wasn't able to practice this week either, which caused him to be ruled out for Week 7. There's a good chance he will be sidelined for a few more weeks considering this is the same hamstring injury that landed him on IR in the first place. Adam Trautman will continue to operate as the Broncos' starting tight end but he offers very little fantasy appeal.

Broncos To Activate TE Greg Dulcich From IR

OCTOBER 12: Dulcich’s ramp-up period will be short. The Broncos are expected to activate the second-year tight end for tonight’s Week 6 matchup against the Chiefs, ESPN.com’s Jeremy Fowler tweets. While a full workload should not be expected, the 2022 third-round pick represents another weapon coming back for the 1-4 squad. Dulcich’s return timetable resembles […]
Oct 12 · Pro Football Rumors Denver Broncos Greg Dulcich Chris Manhertz Adam TrautmanStay Away From Adam Trautman In Week 6

Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman may have scored his first touchdown of the year in the Week 5 loss to the New York Jets, but he did it on just four receptions for 26 yards. And we certainly can't ignore the fact that he didn't have a single catch on just four targets in the previous three games combined. Trautman certainly didn't take advantage of Greg Dulcich (hamstring) being on Injured Reserve after he tweaked his hammy in the season opener, and now Dulcich (listed as questioned for Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs) has a chance to return for the first time in Week 6. Whenever Dulcich returns, Trautman will see even fewer targets in the passing game. The 26-year-old belongs on the waiver wire in the vast majority of fantasy leagues.

Adam Trautman Resurfaces In The Box Score

After three straight games of not catching a single pass on only four targets, Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman got involved again in the 31-21 Week 5 loss to the visiting New York Jets by catching four of his five targets for 26 yards and his first touchdown of the year. Trautman's four receptions tied for second on the team, and he was also tied for second with his five targets. In the two games this year where he's actually caught a pass, Trautman has totaled nine catches for 60 yards and a touchdown. However, the 26-year-old is way too volatile to suddenly trust in fantasy lineups, especially with Greg Dulcich (hamstring) potentially returning from Injured Reserve to play in Week 6 next Thursday against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs.

Adam Trautman Belongs On The Waiver Wire

Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman should be as far away from fantasy rosters as possible after failing to catch any of his four targets over the last three games. Trautman caught all five of his targets in his Broncos debut in the season opener for 34 yards after Greg Dulcich (hamstring) went down with an injury that landed him on Injured Reserve. The 26-year-old has been playing plenty since Dulcich has been out, but it has not translated to work in the passing game like it did in the Week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Trautman will catch another pass at some point in 2023, but we're not holding our breathe for it to happen. The blocking-first tight end could be looking at a reduction in playing time soon if Dulcich is able to return from IR when he's eligible in Week 6 next Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Adam Trautman Off The Fantasy Radar

Even in a great matchup against the Chicago Bears in Week 4, Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman shouldn't be in consideration as a fantasy streamer at the tight end position. Trautman caught all five of his targets for 34 yards in the season opener, but he hasn't caught a pass since on three targets in two games, even with Greg Dulcich (hamstring) on Injured Reserve. The 26-year-old is dominating the team's TE snaps on offense and probably isn't going to be skunked in the catch column for much longer, but the Broncos just aren't going to rely on the position for aerial production until Dulcich is able to return. Trautman's two donuts in the score column have also coincided with the return of receiver Jerry Jeudy. Trautman has no business being rostered in the vast majority of fantasy leagues.

Adam Trautman Puts Up Donut For Second Straight Week

Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman is completely off the fantasy radar. His role was expected to increase as far as pass-catching duties go once the team placed Greg Dulcich (hamstring) on Injured Reserve, but it just hasn't transpired. Even in a lopsided 70-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, Trautman was targeted only two times and failed to haul in either target for a donut in the fantasy column for the second straight week. The Broncos offense has looked better through three weeks with head coach Sean Payton at the helm. However, Trautman hasn't been a beneficiary at all, even with Dulcich sidelined. The entire Broncos offense has a great opportunity in a Week 4 game against the Chicago Bears, but Trautman should remain on the waiver wire everywhere.

Adam Trautman Not A Viable Fantasy Starter

Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman had an encouraging debut for Denver in Week 1 when he caught all five of his targets for 34 yards after Greg Dulcich left with a hamstring injury. Trautman was expected to have an elevated pass-catching role as the No. 1 TE with Dulcich missing several weeks due to his injury, but he failed to catch his only target in the Week 2 loss to the Washington Commanders despite playing 82% of the offensive snaps. Dulcich is now on Injured Reserve, meaning he'll miss at least three more games. Trautman will continue to serve as Denver's No. 1 tight end, but it isn't necessarily going to translate to fantasy production. After all, Trautman will be used more as a blocker than a pass-catcher.

Adam Trautman Puts Up A Donut Sunday

Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman was expected to take on a bigger pass-catching role in the offense with Greg Dulcich (hamstring) set to miss multiple weeks with a hamstring injury he suffered in the season opener. Well that didn't happen in a Week 2 loss to the Washington Commanders. Trautman was only targeted one time in the passing game and failed to haul it in. In the Week 1 loss, he caught all five of his targets for 34 yards. The Broncos passing game succeeded deep down the field in this one, and quarterback Russell Wilson got rookie Marvin Mims Jr. and Brandon Johnson involved for touchdowns. Trautman should have more opportunities in the passing game until Dulcich returns, but this showing proves he's nothing more than a blind-folded dart throw in fantasy lineups.

Broncos Place TE Greg Dulcich On IR

The recurrence of Greg Dulcich‘s hamstring injury will keep him sidelined for an extended stretch. The Broncos announced on Saturday that the second-year tight end was placed on injured reserve. Sep 16 · Pro Football Rumors Denver Broncos Greg Dulcich Adam TrautmanAdam Trautman - Week 2 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman's fantasy value has risen after the Week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. With Greg Dulcich (hamstring) going down with an injury that is going to cost him multiple weeks, Trautman led the Broncos in receiving with five catches for 34 receiving yards on five targets. While he may have been worth a waiver-wire pickup in deeper fantasy leagues for tight end depth this week, he's still nothing more than a low-end streaming option at the position in a Broncos offense that is still trying to find their identity in new head coach Sean Payton's system. The 26-year-old is going to have an expanded pass-catching role in Week 2 against the Washington Commanders this Sunday, but he could also be losing out on targets if receiver Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) makes his season debut.

Broncos To Rely More On Adam Trautman As Receiving Threat

With Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) expected to miss at least a few weeks with the same hamstring injury that cost him seven games in his rookie season in 2022, the Broncos will rely even more on Adam Trautman at tight end as a receiving threat. Trautman led the entire team in the Week 1 loss to the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders with five catches and had the second-most receiving yards (34). Receiver Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) has yet to make his 2023 debut due to injury, either, so Trautman could be heavily involved in Week 2 this Sunday against the Washington Commanders. Fantasy managers in need of help at the position already should consider the 26-year-old a viable streaming option this weekend in deeper leagues.

Adam Trautman's Fantasy Stock On The Rise After Season Opener

Denver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman entered the 2023 regular season as the top TE on the depth chart, but it was still widely expected that Greg Dulcich (leg) would be Denver's top pass-catching target at the position. Dulcich injured his leg early in the Broncos' 17-16 Week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday and never returned, allowing Trautman to operate in a bigger role. He responded by catching a team-high five passes for 34 yards on five targets. Depending on how serious Dulcich's injury is, the 26-year-old could be worth a waiver-wire addition in deeper fantasy leagues moving forward. He's a favorite of head coach Sean Payton from their time together in New Orleans, but just remember that Trautman has 60 career catches in three NFL seasons and remains a better blocker than pass-catcher. In season-long leagues, Dulcich is still the better fantasy bet if he's healthy.
