Bengals Begin Extension Discussions With Joe Burrow
The Cincinnati Bengals have begun discussions with quarterback Joe Burrow on a long-term contract extension this offseason. Head coach Zac Taylor told the media that talks have started and "the process is underway," according to a team source. This could take a while to finalize, but the Bengals appear fully committed to securing Burrow's future. Burrow led Cincy to the Super Bowl in just his second NFL season in 2021 and was excellent again in 2023, completing 68.3 percent of his passes for 4,475 yards, 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 16 regular season starts. He led his squad to the AFC title game for the second straight season and will easily be a top-five fantasy QB1 in 2023.

Bengals, Joe Burrow Begin Extension Talks
Just like fellow 2019 draft class quarterback Justin Herbert, Bengals signal-caller Joe Burrow is eligible for a massive extension this offseason. To no surprise, the legwork for putting together a second contract is underway for both players. The Bengals are turning their attention towards a second contract for Burrow, as noted this week by top contract negotiator Katie […]
Mar 29 · Pro Football Rumors Bengals Joe BurrowOrlando Brown Jr. Finalizing Four-Year Deal With Bengals
Four-time Pro Bowl left tackle and Super Bowl champion Orlando Brown Jr. is finalizing a four-year, $64.092 million front-loaded deal with the Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday night that includes over a $31 million signing bonus, which is the largest ever for an offensive lineman. The Kansas City Chiefs surprisingly let Brown walk in free agency after he helped them win the Super Bowl last season, instead replacing him with Jawaan Taylor. It's a huge bonus for the Bengals' offensive line and quarterback Joe Burrow, as the 26-year-oLD Brown is easily one of the league's best blind-side protectors. Protection for Burrow has been an issue for the Bengals, but Brown is a massive upgrade.

Dan Pitcher Staying In Cincinnati
Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks coach Dan Pitcher will remain with the team for another season to work with quarterback Joe Burrow, according to sources. Pitcher had two interviews with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their offensive coordinator position and was considered a top candidate for the job. He'll most likely be in the mix for offensive coordinator jobs again next offseason. Pitcher had signed a contract extension with the Bengals last month, but he was still a candidate to leave Cincinnati's coaching staff this offseason. Burrow has already established himself as an elite NFL QB early in his career, but having Pitcher around for another year of his development is great news.

Joe Burrow's Next Contract A Priority For Bengals
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow just completed his third NFL season and is eligible for a contract extension this offseason. He has lived up to expectations to this point after being the No. 1 overall pick in 2020. Burrow led the Bengals to the Super Bowl last year and advanced to the AFC Championship this season. Cincy will surely pick up his fifth-year option this spring, unless they sign him to a big contract extension first. "Yeah, I think that starts now internally," head coach Zac Taylor said when asked about Burrow being eligible for a second contract. The 26-year-old had a 68.3% completion percentage, 4,475 yards, 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 16 regular season games in 2022. He'll easily be a top-five QB1 target for fantasy managers heading into 2023.

Joe Burrow Falls Short Of Another AFC Championship
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow couldn't lift his team to a second consecutive Super Bowl appearance. The signal-caller threw 270 yards in the narrow AFC Championship loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, adding one passing touchdown and two interceptions. Burrow had trouble getting anything going early, as the Bengals offensive line couldn't stop the Chiefs defense from getting to their quarterback. However, even after the group got it together, the former LSU Tiger still fell short of his second AFC title. Burrow had a fantastic 2022-23 campaign, finishing the regular season with 4,475 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 12 picks while completing 68.3% of his throws. Fortunately, barring a trade, he'll have Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, and Joe Mixon back at his disposal. As a result, Burrow will be one of the first fantasy quarterbacks off draft boards heading into the new year.

Bengals Extend QBs Coach Dan Pitcher
Dan Pitcher will be sticking with the Bengals. Per Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Cincinnati has signed its quarterbacks coach to a lucrative contract extension that will take him through at least the 2023 season. Pitcher, 36, interviewed for the Buccaneers’ open offensive coordinator position on Friday, which was the first time in his career he […]
Jan 29 · Pro Football Rumors Bengals Joe Burrow coach carouselJoe Burrow Aiming For Another Super Bowl Appearance
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will look to lead his squad to a second straight Super Bowl appearance. To do this, the Bengals must take down Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the AFC Championship. These teams were in the same situation last year, with Cincy defeating Kansas City in overtime to win the AFC Championship. Burrow had a respectable showing in that one, ending his day with 250 yards and two touchdowns (one interception) off 23-for-38 passing. Cincinnati's offensive line also held the Chiefs defense to only one sack. The 2020 No. 1 overall pick has owned Kansas City over the last few seasons, with the signal-caller throwing eight total touchdowns while averaging 327 passing yards per game (three meetings). Without a doubt, Burrow has a massive upside for DFS participants on Sunday, although he'll likely be a popular option for those looking to play the contrarian role.

Buccaneers Interview Dan Pitcher For OC Position
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a virtual interview with Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks coach Dan Pitcher for their vacant offensive coordinator position on Friday. Pitcher has been with the Bengals since 2016 and has served as an offensive assistant, wide receivers coach and assistant quarterbacks coach. He was promoted to QBs coach in 2020. It's unknown what QB he'd be working with in Tampa if he got the job, but he's helped develop Joe Burrow into one of the best in the game over the last three years. Burrow led the NFL with a 70.4% completion percentage in 2021, and he threw for 4,475 yards, 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in the 2022 regular season. The Bucs are looking for a new offensive coordinator after firing Byron Leftwich.

Jonah Williams, Alex Cappa Miss Practice Wednesday
Cincinnati Bengals offensive lineman Jonah Williams (knee) and Alex Cappa (ankle) did not take part in the portion of practice open to the media on Wednesday. Williams is dealing with a dislocated kneecap and didn't play in the Divisional Round win over the Buffalo Bills. Meanwhile, Cappa suffered an ankle injury in the regular season finale and has yet to suit up in the postseason. Neither player is trending in the right direction for the AFC Championship this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, but they could still get back on the practice field on Thursday or Friday. Cincy's offensive line stepped up in a big way to protect quarterback Joe Burrow against the Bills last weekend, and they might have to do so again if both Williams and Cappa cannot play. Jackson Carman started at left tackle last week, while Max Scharping filled in at right guard.

Joe Burrow Leads Cincy To Another AFC Title Game
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow led his team past the Buffalo Bills. The signal-caller struggled in his back-to-back games against the Ravens heading into this one. However, that wasn't the case on Sunday, with Burrow throwing for 242 yards and two touchdowns off 23-for-36 passing while adding six carries for 31 yards. With the win, the Bengals will meet the Chiefs in the AFC Championship for the second straight year. The former LSU tiger has dominated Patrick Mahomes and company in three encounters with Kansas City, dating back to January 2022. In those meetings, Burrow has averaged 327 passing yards and nearly three touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his attempts. Without question, he'll be an ideal option for DFS managers on Championship Sunday.

Bengals, Joe Burrow Expected To Negotiate Contract Extension
The Cincinnati Bengals and quarterback Joe Burrow are expected to negotiate a contract extension this offseason that will make him one of the highest-paid signal-callers in the NFL. Burrow, who is still playing on his rookie deal, has proven worthy of a massive payday after leading the Bengals to a Super Bowl appearance last season and throwing for nearly 4,500 passing yards and 35 touchdowns in the 2022-2023 campaign. Negotiations should begin following Cincinnati's playoff run, which will resume on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round.

Joe Burrow Aims To Bring Cincy Back To AFC Title Game
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will look to lead his squad to a second straight AFC Championship appearance. However, Burrow and company will first need to get through Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The signal-caller didn't offer much on the fantasy end over the last two weeks during consecutive meetings with the Ravens, amassing a combined 424 yards and two touchdowns. That said, Sunday's matchup should feature plenty of scoring, so even if Cincinnati comes out on the losing end, Burrow could very well be more productive than he was in the previous two games. As a result, the former LSU Tiger will make a fine addition to any DFS lineup.

Joe Burrow Scores Two Touchdowns In Playoff Win
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow completed 23 of his 32 passing attempts for 209 yards and one touchdown and rushed for a score in the Wild Card win over the Baltimore Ravens. Considering his elite ceiling among quarterbacks, it wasn't his best performance, but he ultimately delivered with the touchdowns. However, Burrow will get a chance to face the Buffalo Bills next week, in what could be a shootout. The Bengals-Bills game will be a great game to target for DFS upside in the AFC Divisional round showdown.

Joe Burrow Looking For Another Win Over Baltimore
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is looking to lead his club to another Super Bowl. However, he'll need to get his team past Baltimore for the second time in as many weeks on Sunday. The signal-caller hasn't been overly productive in his two meetings with the Ravens this season, totaling only two passing touchdowns while combining for 432 yards through the air. That said, Burrow commands arguably the most talented offense in the National Football League, so DFS managers can't count him out based on his previous results against the AFC North rival throughout the 2022-23 campaign.

Joe Burrow Does Enough To Lead Cincy To Another Win
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow didn't have the best game of his career in the Week 18 win over the Baltimore Ravens. The signal-caller threw 215 yards and only one touchdown while completing 25 of his 42 passing attempts. Fortunately, he still did enough to lead Cincinnati to its eighth consecutive win. The former LSU Tiger has been a top fantasy quarterback throughout the 2022-23 campaign. Without a doubt, he'll command attention in fantasy drafts heading into next season. But there is more work on the horizon for Burrow and the Bengals, who will be on a guest to win a Super Bowl after falling short last season.

Joe Burrow Looks To Avenge Week 5 Loss To Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will look to lead his team to an eighth straight win on Sunday against Baltimore. The clubs met back in Week 5, with the Ravens taking the win courtesy of a last-minute Justin Tucker field goal. Burrow didn't play his best in that one, finishing with 217 yards off 24-for-35 passing while throwing one touchdown and one interception. However, the signal-caller has played well in his four-lifetime meetings with the birds, amassing eight touchdowns, three interceptions, and completing 69.1% of his throws. Cincinnati has nearly its entire roster healthy, so Burrow could thrive with Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, and Joe Mixon at his disposal in Week 18.
