Isaiah Hodgins Catches Lone Touchdown For New York In Week 12

New York Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins caught just one pass for 12 yards against New England, but he found the end zone on his lone reception. In fact, that was the veteran's only target on Sunday afternoon. Quarterback Tommy Devito completed 17 passes and Hodgins was one of six Giants to secure just one reception. Hodgins only has 15 catches on the season, although two have found paydirt. He does not need to be rostered in any fantasy football format for the remainder of the season.

Playing Time For Isaiah Hodgins Could Jump In Week 12

New York Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins is back in the wide receiver rotation and could see even more time on the field against New England due to a doubtful designation for starting wideout Darius Slayton (neck). Hodgins caught his first passes since Week 7 against Washington last week and therefore still remains far from being a worthy addition to any fantasy football roster. With undrafted rookie Tommy Devito under center, there aren't any trustworthy options in the New York passing game. Even if Hodgins does see the snaps vacated by Slayton, he's buried in the rankings for Week 12 and should remain on waiver wires.

Isaiah Hodgins Not Seeing Consistent Playing Time

New York Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins is being phased out of the offense. After playing at least 60% of the offensive snaps in Weeks 1-3, he played a season-low 23% of the snaps against Buffalo. As a result, he didn't log a single stat. It's his third straight game playing under 40% of the snaps. Hodgins has ten catches for 107 yards and one touchdown on the season. The 24-year-old has disappointed following his breakout stretch at the tail end of the 2022 season. There's no reason to roster Hodgins in any fantasy football format.

New York Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins may not get a ton of opportunities to show off against his former team, the Buffalo Bills, in Week 6. After playing at least 60% of the offensive snaps in Weeks 1-3, his time on the field dipped below 40% in Weeks 4 and 5. On the season, Hodgins has just ten catches for 107 yards and one touchdown. Wide receivers in New York haven't produced for fantasy football managers this year. Daniel Jones (neck) won't play on Sunday, so veteran Tyrod Taylor will be under center. It's best to leave Hodgins on the waiver wire in all formats.

Another Quiet Game For Isaiah Hodgins

New York Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins and the rest of the offense floundered in Monday's 24-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Hodgins had another quiet game to close out Week 4 with three catches on three targets for 24 yards. Quarterback Daniel Jones was sacked a staggering 11 times and didn't have much time to throw at all behind an injured and ineffective offensive line. Hodgins also played a season-low 37 percent of the offensive snaps, although he was at least able to show up in the box score this week after putting up a donut in last week's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. It's impossible to trust Hodgins as a starting lineup option in fantasy right now. Through the first four weeks, he's registered eight catches for 88 yards and one touchdown on 12 targets.

Isaiah Hodgins A Desperation Play In Week 3

New York Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins scored a touchdown in Week 2 but that opportunity will be tougher to come by on Thursday Night Football against San Francisco. The 24-year-old only has eight targets through two games in 2023, converting five of those for 64 yards. The Giants' offense may struggle to move the ball down the field against a stingy San Francisco defense, especially with running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) sitting out. Hodgins is better off on the waiver wire in standard-sized fantasy football leagues.

Isaiah Hodgins Posts His First Touchdown Of The New Season

New York Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins caught four passes for 40 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 2 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. The entire Giants' offense looked out of sorts again in the first half, falling behind 20-0, but came out firing in the second half. Hodgins' score tied the game at 28 with over four minutes left in the contest. Hopefully, the comeback is a sign of what the Giants' offense can be in 2023, and it's not what we saw for the first 90 minutes of the regular season. If so, Hodgins could play his way into a fantasy-relevant role but does not need to be rostered in standard-sized leagues right now.

The New York Giants' passing attack looks to regroup in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals, and that includes wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins. The 24-year-old caught just one pass for 24 yards in Week 1, a play on which he lost a fumble. Quarterback Daniel Jones only threw for 104 yards on Sunday Night Football and the Giants never found their way into the end zone. Fortunes may change when the Giants travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals. Hodgins is likely to see more targets and receptions in Week 2 but still is not worthy of being on a fantasy football roster in standard-sized redraft leagues.

New York Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins caught just one ball for 24 yards in the team's 40-0 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. On that play, which happened to be the Giants' longest play of the night, Hodgins was stripped by Dallas cornerback Trevon Diggs and lost the fumble. Hodgins still led wideouts in receiving yardage for the G-Men and only trailed tight end Darren Waller in that department. The entire offensive output for New York was one to forget.

New York Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins was one of the biggest success stories in the NFL in 2022. Cut by Buffalo mid-season, Hodgins found a new home in New York and scored a touchdown in four of his final five regular season games. Riding the wave of his fantasy-relevant performances, the Giants named the 24-year-old a starter for the 2023 season. The good news is that he plays on the outside, where there is little competition for snaps on this team. Tight end Darren Waller and a medley of slot receivers will command most of the targets. Hodgins isn't worth playing, or rostering, in standard-sized redraft leagues but he is a receiver to monitor this season.
