  • Quez Watkins Dealing With Knee Injury

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins (knee) practiced on a limited basis to begin the week on Tuesday. Watkins is second on the Eagles in catches (38), targets (55) and receiving yards (563), but he is still searching for his first touchdown of the season. Assuming he doesn't have any setbacks on Wednesday or Thursday, Watkins should be able to suit up in Week 18 against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday. Philadelphia could be short-handed in the backfield this weekend, which could cause them to go to the air more often, but Watkins will still be nothing more than a low-upside WR4/flex play for fantasy managers still playing for a championship. Watkins had two catches for 46 yards against Dallas in the first matchup back in Week 3.

  • Quez Watkins Catches Two Passes In A Week 17 Win

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins made two catches in a Week 17 win over the Washington Football Team. Watkins was targeted four times, catching half of the balls thrown his way for a total of 15 yards. The sophomore wide receiver has taken over the WR2 role on the Eagles offense, but it hasn't been a fantasy-viable role at all in a run-first offense. Watkins is a solid NFL contributor, but not someone who should be started in most fantasy formats.

  • Quez Watkins - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins is a floor play at best in Week 17 against the Washington Football Team. Watkins hasn't played to his upside this season, especially in an Eagles offense that has relied heavily on the running game. Watkins will make his two to four catches each week, but he's yet to score a touchdown this season and hasn't gone over 60 yards since Week 2. Most fantasy managers in the finals this week aren't worried about having Watkins in their starting lineups.

  • Quez Watkins Gains 43 Yards In Week 16

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins caught all three of his targets for 43 yards in a Week 16 blowout win over the New York Giants. The Eagles passing game looked mostly serviceable in this game and Watkins played his usual supplementary role and provided a solid floor. He's yet to hit any kind of upside this season, but he's developed a key role in the real life offense and could be a decent floor option in deeper PPR formats.

  • Quez Watkins - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins is not a great starting option in Week 16 against the New York Giants. Watkins only ended up playing on 35% of the team's offensive snaps in Week 15 after spending the week on the COVID list, but even with his role expected to expand for this week, he's been little more than a safe-floor option this season. He peaked in Week 2, when he finished as the WR34, and has mostly been scoring somewhere between three and eight fantasy points each week. Most fantasy managers that have made it this far likely aren't starting Watkins anyway.

  • Quez Watkins Catches A Pair Of Passes In Week 15

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins was targeted twice and caught both of them in a Week 15 win over the Washington Football Team. Watkins gained a total of 14 yards on his two grabs, but fell behind four other Eagles receivers in targets, including Jalen Reagor and Greg Ward. It was a down game for Watkins, who has turned into a decent floor option in deeper fantasy leagues. He's shown very little upside though, making him an unexciting WR5 type of player in most formats.

  • Quez Watkins Activated From COVID-19 Reserve

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins (illness) was activated from the COVID-19 reserve for his Week 15 matchup against the Washington Football Team. Watkins has had a couple of nice games this season, but he shouldn't be started in any fantasy leagues. However, this does extinguish some of wide receiver DeVonta Smith's upside. Still, Smith can be started as a WR3; fantasy managers must just recognize that starting him could go poorly.

  • Quez Watkins Picks Up 60 Yards In Week 13

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins was targeted three times in the Eagles 33-18 win over the New York Jets in Week 13. He caught all three for 60 yards. Watkins gained the second most yards on the team through the air, behind only tight end Dallas Goedert. Watkins has continued to operate in a solid floor role in the Eagles offense but has yet to show any kind of ceiling. He's an end-of-bench option in deeper leagues that you only start as an emergency option.

  • Quez Watkins - Week 13 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins presents a decent floor option in a Week 13 game against the New York Jets. Watkins has yet to eclipse four catches in any game this season, but he's been on the field for most offensive plays. The issue has been the Eagles dependence on their running game limiting the opportunities for all of their pass catchers. Still, with a matchup against what could be the league's worst defense, there are reasons to believe this could be Watkins reaching his upside. He's no better than a WR5, but he'll have a little more upside than most players ranked near him.

  • Quez Watkins Catches Two Balls In Week 12

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins made two catches in a Week 12 loss to the New York Giants. Watkins was targeted five times and came up with the two catches for 23 yards. He was held catchless in Week 11, but returned to his PPR floor option game in this one. He's one of those wide receivers that's much more important to his NFL team than to any fantasy team, but is just a deep league PPR dart throw at best.

  • Quez Watkins - Week 12 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins is almost guaranteed to have a better game in Week 12 than he did in Week 11. Week 11 was the first time Watkins was held without a catch this season, putting up zero fantasy points and only being targeted once. He hasn't shown much upside this season, but had been a solid floor play in PPR formats in previous weeks. He'll continue to operate in a much more real-life-relevant role as the WR2 on the Eagles offense.

  • Quez Watkins - Week 11 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins could make for a decent floor option in a Week 11 contest against the New Orleans Saints. Watkins set a season high in catches with four in Week 10, and has remained heavily involved in a very low volume passing attack. Week 11 will have the Eagles take on the best run defense in the league, which may force them to throw the ball more often regardless of their game plan. While Watkins doesn't come with much upside, he could make for a decent bye week filler or last guy on a DFS lineup.

  • Quez Watkins - Week 10 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins is not a good option for Week 10 fantasy starting lineups. Watkins has developed a significant role in the Eagles passing game, but it's not one that translates into any kind of fantasy value. He's consistently scoring somewhere between two and eight fantasy points per week, and he hasn't drawn more than five targets since Week 4. He should be on the waiver wire in all but the deepest formats at this point.

  • Quez Watkins Makes Two Catches In Week 8

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins made two catches in a Week 8 blowout win over the Detroit Lions. He gained a total of 18 yards, catching both of his targets. Quarterback Jalen Hurts only completed nine passes, so Watkins making two catches gave him the most among Eagles wide receivers. He's developed a consistent, solid role in the Eagles offense, but it's just been too low volume to make him a fantasy option.

  • Quez Watkins - Week 8 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins will be just a depth piece in Week 8. The Eagles are taking on the winless Detroit Lions, but this Jalen Hurts-led offense has been anything but consistent in the passing game. Watkins has shown flashes of upside this season, but the Eagles have been way too inconsistent to rely on any wide receiver on a weekly basis.

  • Quez Watkins Grabs A Pair Of Passes In Week 7

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins made two catches in a Week 7 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Watkins saw four targets, catching half of them for 37 yards. Watkins is playing an important role on the Eagles offense, but this is not a passing game that can support multiple fantasy-relevant wide receivers. With tight end Dallas Goedert and rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith ahead of Watkins on the passing tree, Watkins is not much more than a hold-and-hope asset in most fantasy formats.
