Tee Higgins - Week 2 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins had a dreadful showing in the Week 1 loss to the Browns. He was targeted eight times by Joe Burrow. Unfortunately, he was held without a catch. Higgins will look to turn things around in Week 2 against the Ravens. The wideout has averaged just over 50 receiving yards versus Baltimore throughout his career (six games). While those numbers aren't the best, Higgins may be more productive, considering the Ravens won't have Marlon Humphrey (foot) and Marcus Williams (pectoral). Keep him starting in all formats.

Tee Higgins Not In Bengals' Future Plans, Extension Unlikely

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins "is not believed to be in the Bengals' future plans," according to Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer. Higgins and the team never came close to an extension and appear headed towards a divorce next offseason. It's an interesting development considering the Bengals have benefitted greatly from having a three-headed monster of Higgins, Ja'Marr Chase, and Tyler Boyd at Joe Burrow's disposal. On the other hand, the salary cap is always looming and it's understandable if the Bengals would prefer to spend money on positions of need, rather than an already strong receiver room. At this rate, Higgins will enter the 2023 season as an impending free agent while ranking as a WR2 in fantasy football.

Tee Higgins Looking For Strong Start To The Season

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins didn't get the contract extension he sought during the offseason. As a result, he should have plenty of motivation to produce throughout the 2023-24 campaign. Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is still waiting on a long-term offer from the team. Unquestionably, the franchise's biggest priority is keeping Joe Burrow (calf) in Cincinnati. Although it was speculated that other deals would pause while negotiations with the signal-caller were ongoing, they didn't, with linebacker Logan Wilson and defensive end Trey Hendrickson each getting fresh contracts.
