  • Matt Gay Has A Quiet Game In Week 17

Los Angeles Rams kicker Matt Gay has been one of the most consistent kickers all season, but he had one of his most quiet games in Week 17 against the Baltimore Ravens. Gay missed a field goal, which was the first time since Week 4 that he had missed a field goal, and it was the first time since Week 5 that he had missed a kick of any kind. Gay finished the day with the missed field goal and went 2-for-2 on his extra-point attempts. Gay is still one of the top fantasy kickers on the year, and he should remain a must-start option at the position in the regular season finale in Week 18 against the division-rival San Francisco 49ers.

  • Matt Gay Has A Great Game In Week 16

Los Angeles Rams kicker Matt Gay has been crushing it over the last few weeks, and that level of play continued in Week 16 against the Minnesota Vikings. Gay went 6-for-6 on his kicking attempts, including making all three of his field goals. He'll likely finish as a top-five kicker for the week, and he's been working on chasing down New England Patriots kicker Nick Folk for the top spot in fantasy on the season. As long as this Rams offense continues to put up points, Gay is going to be one of the best fantasy options at the position every single week.

  • Matt Gay - Week 15 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Los Angeles Rams kicker Matt Gay has been one of the best fantasy kickers all season, and that's going to continue in Week 15 against the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday. Gay is ranked fifth among kickers in fantasy points this season, and three of the four players in front of him have played an extra game. The Rams have scored 20 or more points in all but two games this season, and they've scored 28 or more in each of their last three games. Gay has missed just two kicking attempts all season, and this team consistently gets him into position to score points. You can start him with confidence this week.

  • Matt Gay Has A Big Game In Week 14

Los Angeles Rams kicker Matt Gay had been somewhat quiet of late, but he had a huge game in Week 14 against the Arizona Cardinals. Gay was 3-for-3 on his field-goal attempts while going 3-for-3 on his extra-point attempts. Gay has made 26 of 27 field-goal attempts on the year along with going 38-for-39 on his extra-point attempts. This offense has been explosive, and Gay has been able to capitalize on the big plays they've been making. Depending on your field-goal scoring, Gay could have had 14 fantasy points this week. For reference, that was more points than Deebo Samuel, Chris Godwin and Dak Prescott. Gay is one of the top kicking options in fantasy on a weekly basis.

  • Matt Gay Has Another Perfect Game In Week 10

Los Angeles Rams kicker Matt Gay was on the losing side again in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night, and he had a quiet outing on the night. Gay went 2-for-2 on his kicking opportunities with one field goal and one extra point. This was the first game all season where Gay saw fewer than four kicking attempts in the game. This was also the second game in a row where the Rams struggled on offense, and it's the second straight week where they've failed to score 20 or more points after scoring 20-plus in their first eight games. The Rams offense remains one of the more potent groups in football, but they looked out of sorts without Robert Woods (knee). LA's offense should have better days and will have the Week 11 bye to figure things out. Gay will remain a weekly fantasy starter in Week 12.

  • Matt Gay Has Another Perfect Game In Week 9

Los Angeles Rams kicker Matt Gay may have been on the losing side in Week 9 against the Tennessee Titans, but he came out with a strong fantasy performance. He made all four of his kicking attempts, including going 3-for-3 on his field-goal tries. This was just the second game all year where he saw three field-goal attempts in a single game, and he was able to maintain his streak of at least four scoring attempts in every game. The Rams offense had a pair of interceptions that cut down on his scoring opportunities, but Gay should remain a top-five fantasy option at the position on a weekly basis. This was a down week for the Rams offense, and he still managed to stay relevant.

  • Matt Gay - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Los Angeles Rams kicker Matt Gay remains one of the most consistent kickers in the NFL, and he is a solid fantasy option again in Week 9 against the Tennessee Titans. Gay has hit 41 of his 43 kicking attempts this year, and the Rams are meeting a defense that has given up 31 points in two of their last three games. The Rams have scored 20 or more points in every game this season, and they've scored 26 or more in all but one game. If Gay is an option for you at kicker this week, you can feel confident in firing him up in this matchup.

  • Matt Gay - Week 8 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Los Angeles Rams kicker Matt Gay has one of the best jobs in the NFL this season, and that will continue in Week 8 against the Houston Texans. His offense is able to move the ball nearly at will against all opponents, and they give him plenty of scoring opportunities. The Texans have given up at least 21 points to every opponent this season, and they've allowed at least 350 yards of total offense in every single game. Gay is one of the safest kickers on the board this week, and the only thing that will limit his overall ceiling will be if the team exclusively scores touchdowns rather than settling for field goals.
