Marquise Brown Takes Part In Individual Drills
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (hamstring) was back on the practice field at training camp on Monday and took part in individual drills. The plan is to increase his workload until he's going full speed, most likely by Wednesday, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. The 25-year-old is unlikely to play in the team's preseason opener on Friday against the Cincinnati Bengals, but it's good news that he's back at practice this week. Brown hasn't practiced much with his new team this summer due to his injury and off-the-field issues, which isn't great as he tries to gain chemistry with new quarterback Kyler Murray. With DeAndre Hopkins suspended for the first six games, Brown should operate as Murray's top receiving target. Consider him a low-end WR2/high-end WR3 target on draft day.

Marquise Brown Arrested For Criminal Speeding
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown was arrested on Wednesday morning on criminal-speeding charges. Brown was not present with the team for Wednesday's practice, but he's also been working his way back from a hamstring injury that put him on the Non-Football Injury list to begin training camp. Hollywood was activated from the NFI list on Tuesday, and the team was hoping that he could return by the weekend. It's unclear if Brown's arrest for criminal speeding will lead to a suspension from the league, but it's definitely not great news as he looks to put his best foot forward with his new organization. In 2021 with the Ravens, the 25-year-old had a career-high 1,008 yards and six touchdowns, and he's expected to be Arizona's No. 1 receiver until DeAndre Hopkins finishes his six-game suspension.

Cardinals Activate Marquise Brown From NFI List
The Arizona Cardinals activated wide receiver Marquise Brown (hamstring) from the Non-Football Injury list on Tuesday. Brown began training camp on the sidelines last week due to a hamstring injury he suffered in private workouts. But his injury was never serious and the Cardinals didn't expect him to miss too much practice time in training camp. Now that he's back, Brown can continue to develop chemistry with quarterback Kyler Murray, who he played with in college as he prepares to be Arizona's No. 1 wideout with DeAndre Hopkins suspended for the first six games of the season. Brown had his first 1,000-yard season last year in Baltimore and will be a low-end WR2 target for fantasy managers heading into his first year in Arizona.

Cardinals Hope Marquise Brown Will Return Next Week
Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that he's hoping wide receiver Marquise Brown (hamstring) will be able to return to practice at training camp sometime next week. Brown opened camp on the Non-Football Injury list with a hamstring injury, but the Cardinals don't expect him to be out for long. That's good news, since the 25-year-old is looking to gain chemistry with quarterback Kyler Murray as the team's No. 1 receiving threat with DeAndre Hopkins set to serve a six-game suspension to open the year. Brown had his first 1,000-yard season and added six touchdowns with the Ravens in 2021, and he should be a stable WR2 for fantasy managers in his new home.

Marquise Brown Expected Back Soon
Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said that wide receiver Marquise Brown (hamstring) injured his hamstring last week, but he's expected to return to practice soon. Brown was placed on the Non-Football Injury list to begin training camp on Tuesday, but he shouldn't be out for long. That's good news, as the 25-year-old needs all the repetitions he can get to gain chemistry with quarterback Kyler Murray in his first year in Arizona. With DeAndre Hopkins suspended for the first six games of the season, Brown is expected to step up as the No. 1 receiver in the passing attack. Brown's decline in the second half last year with Baltimore should have fantasy managers hesitant that he can be a true No. 1 wideout for an entire season. There's more upside in Arizona's offense, but Brown is better suited as a low-end WR2.

Marquise Brown Not Ready To Practice At Camp
The Arizona Cardinals placed wide receiver Marquise Brown (hamstring) on the Non-Football Injury list on Tuesday. He'll be eligible to come off the list whenever he's ready to practice. It's bad news for a player that has yet to play with the team after being acquired in a draft-day trade with the Baltimore Ravens. The 25-year-old will be looking to cement himself as one of quarterback Kyler Murray's top targets to begin the season, with DeAndre Hopkins suspended for the first six games. Brown should be the team's top wideout to open the year, but Arizona also has receivers A.J. Green, Rondale Moore and Antoine Wesley and tight end Zach Ertz to catch passes. Brown had his first 1,000-yard season in 2021 and has scored 21 times in his first three NFL seasons. He's in the WR2 picture but will lose fantasy value once Hopkins returns to the fold.

Extension Candidate: Marquise Brown
The Cardinals are interested in an extension for draft-day trade acquisition Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, and while Brown himself is presumably willing to talk contract, it is unclear where negotiations stand at this point, or if they have even commenced. Brown is scheduled to earn a $2.1MM salary in 2022 (the final year of his rookie […]
Jul 3 · Pro Football Rumors Cardinals Marquise BrownCardinals To Remain Cautious With DeAndre Hopkins' Recovery
The Cardinals have known for quite some time that they will be without their top wideout for, in all likelihood, the first six weeks of the regular season in 2022. To ensure he is fully prepared to return from his PED suspension upon his eligibility to do so, the team must also keep in mind […]
Jun 29 · Pro Football Rumors Cardinals Marquise Brown DeAndre HopkinsMarquise Brown Continues To Put In Work
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown has been putting in work this offseason. After minicamp ended, Hollywood continued to train, spending time in the weight room and working with former Cardinals wideout Christian Kirk, who is now in Jacksonville. Nonetheless, it's apparent Brown is committed to having the best season of his career, which is certainly possible even after DeAndre Hopkins returns from a six-game suspension. It also doesn't hurt that he will be catching throws from Kyler Murray, his signal-caller at Oklahoma.

DeAndre Hopkins Considering Appeal Of PED Suspension?
The Cardinals lost a significant member of their offense before the 2022 season even began when it was announced that DeAndre Hopkins would miss the first six games of the campaign due to a PED suspension. The wideout originally withdrew his appeal of the ban, but he remains hopeful that its length can ultimately be reduced. When […]
Jun 24 · Pro Football Rumors Cardinals Marquise Brown DeAndre Hopkins Rondale MooreMarquise Brown Making Good Impression
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown continues to make a positive impression on his teammates and coaching staff. Hollywood was dealt to the Cards during the NFL Draft in April after spending his entire career in Baltimore. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury is among those who have enjoyed having the wideout on the roster, recently praising his work ethic. Nevertheless, Brown has proven to be one of the most talented receivers in the league and was a capable fantasy option despite being on a Ravens squad that has leaned heavily on the run over the years. However, the 25-year-old has an excellent chance of having his best season to date in 2022, considering his history with Kyler Murray, and could still flourish when DeAndre Hopkins returns from suspension in Week 7.

Cardinals Seeking Long-Term Deal With Marquise Brown
The Cardinals made one of the biggest splashes during the draft when they acquired Marquise Brown. While they have time to work out a new contract with him, they are clearly seeking to do just that in the near future. Arizona sent a first round pick to the Ravens for ‘Hollywood’ during Day 1 of the […]
Jun 16 · Pro Football Rumors Cardinals Marquise BrownMarquise Brown In Line For Big Extension
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown is in line to be paid like one of the best receivers in the NFL, and the Cardinals will be compelled to extend his contract. Brown just had the best season of his career with 91 catches and 1,008 yards, but he ranked 14th and 26th in those categories. The soon-to-be 25-year-old is on an upward trajectory and should be better in a pass-happy offense in Arizona. Brown will take on a bigger role early in the year with DeAndre Hopkins suspended for six games, and he has chemistry with quarterback Kyler Murray from their days at Oklahoma. His fantasy ceiling and floor should be much higher in the desert.

Marquise Brown Set For A Prominent Role
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown was traded from the Ravens on draft night. He's been a relatively reliable wideout over the years. However, with a change of scenery, he may be in line for his most productive season to date. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury, who was recently asked about the six-game suspension of DeAndre Hopkins, indicated he hopes to rely on Brown to help lessen the blow. Yet, even when the former Houston Texan makes it back, Brown may continue to be a reliable target for Kyler Murray, his former collegiate teammate, especially since Hopkins' presence could open things up even more for Hollywood. Nonetheless, Brown has enormous expectations heading into the 2022-23 campaign, so fantasy managers shouldn't let him remain undrafted longer than necessary.
