  • Marquise Brown Questionable To Return Versus Steelers

    Headshot for Marquise Brown

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) is officially questionable to return against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. At the time of his departure, Brown had commanded three targets but did not have a reception. Michael Wilson (shoulder) is also out, so the Cardinals will lean on Trey McBride, Rondale Moore, and Greg Dortch in the passing game until Brown can return.

    Headshot for Marquise Brown

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) is officially active for the Week 13 game on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Zach Pascal (personal) has been ruled out. Brown didn't practice all week but took a questionable tag into Sunday morning. The 26-year-old was expected to play, and fantasy managers will be hoping that he can build on a nice performance in last week's blowout loss to the Los Angeles Rams, when he had six catches for 88 yards on 12 targets. Brown did very little in quarterback Kyler Murray's first two games back from Injured Reserve, but last week's performance gives hope that Brown will continue gaining chemistry with Murray in the final six regular season games of 2023.

  • Marquise Brown Likely Available In Week 13

    Headshot for Marquise Brown

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) is projected to suit up for Sunday's game versus the Steelers. The 26-year-old has battled a lingering heel injury and missed some practices during the week. Yet, he battled the same issue ahead of the Week 12 clash with the Rams but still put together one of his best performances of the season by catching six of his 12 targets for 88 yards. That said, Brown hasn't been the most reliable fantasy asset throughout the 2023-24 campaign. But there's no denying his upside, so fantasy managers should classify him as a flex option, at the very least, for Week 13.

  • Marquise Brown Officially Questionable Against Steelers

    Headshot for Marquise Brown

Arizona Cardinals wide receivers Marquise Brown (heel) and Zach Pascal (personal) are both listed as questionable for Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Brown was said to be trending in the right direction to play this weekend, but it's concerning that he didn't practice all week. Rookie Michael Wilson (shoulder) will miss his third straight game for the Cardinals. If the 26-year-old Brown is active on Sunday, he'll be looking to keep the momentum going after recording his best performance after two clunkers with quarterback Kyler Murray back from Injured Reserve. If Brown is out or limited, Rondale Moore and Greg Dortch would both have expanded roles and be worthy of flex consideration, especially in a Week 13 with six teams on bye. Tight end Trey McBride (groin) is also in danger of missing Sunday's game for Arizona.

  • Marquise Brown Trending In The Right Direction For Week 13

    Headshot for Marquise Brown

Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said that wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) has been out of practice while getting healthy and is "trending in the right direction" to play in the Week 13 contest on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cardinals have already ruled out rookie Michael Wilson (shoulder) for the third straight game. Tight end Trey McBride (groin) is also questionable to play this weekend, but Gannon said the team's upcoming bye in Week 14 won't impact the decisions on whether Brown and McBride will face Pittsburgh. Brown played through his heel injury last week and had six catches on 12 targets for 88 yards in the loss to the Los Angeles Rams. It sounds like the 26-year-old is on the right side of questionable, and if he's active, he could easily have another big game as Arizona's No. 1 wideout.

  • Marquise Brown Still Not Practicing Thursday

    Headshot for Marquise Brown

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) missed a second consecutive practice on Thursday. Brown was dealing with a heel issue ahead of Week 12 but played through the pain to rack up six catches for 88 yards, his biggest yardage output since his 96-yard day against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4. Brown's production has been lacking in recent weeks, in spite of the return of Kyler Murray in Week 10. Assuming Brown is healthy for Week 13, he will likely be the focus of the Cardinals' passing attack with Michael Wilson (shoulder) and Trey McBride (groin) both ailing.

  • Marquise Brown, Michael Wilson Miss Practice

    Headshot for Marquise Brown

AZCardinals.com's Darren Urban said that he did not see Arizona Cardinals wide receivers Marquise Brown (heel) or rookie Michael Wilson (shoulder) on the practice field on Wednesday during the portion open to the media. The Cardinals are likely just giving Brown some extra rest after he played through a heel issue in the Week 12 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. After two straight disappointing performances with quarterback Kyler Murray back, Brown bounced back to lead the team on six catches (12 targets) for 88 yards. It was a good sign for his rest-of-season outlook now that Murray is back. Wilson, meanwhile, has missed three of the last four games due to a nagging shoulder injury that he aggravated. With a Week 14 bye coming for the Cards, it would make sense to hold the 23-year-old out for another game.

Arizona Cardinals wide-receiver Marquise Brown brought in six of 12 targets for 88 yards in the Cardinals' 37-14 Week 12 loss to the Rams. Coming into the game, Brown was listed as questionable due to a heel injury but was able to overcome it. He led the team in both receiving yards and targets on the day and showed renewed chemistry with quarterback Kyler Murray. This outing was by far Brown's best game with Murray under center, and something the talented duo will look to build upon. Hollywood and the rest of the Arizona passing game will look to get back on track when they face off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13.

    Headshot for Marquise Brown

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) is officially active for Week 12 versus the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Listed as questionable entering this weekend, Brown had the odds stacked against him after he missed two consecutive practices on Thursday and Friday. However, he's ultimately active, though it remains to be seen whether he might have a reduced workload. Between the lingering injury and Brown's subpar performances recently (seven catches for 60 yards over his last three games), he's nothing more than a WR3 in fantasy football.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) is "hopeful" to play versus the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Listed as questionable entering this weekend, Brown had the odds stacked against him after he missed two consecutive practices on Thursday and Friday. However, he's pushing to be active and, by the tone of Rapoport's tweet, certainly has a chance to do so. The 26-year-old has been relatively quiet over his last three contests, catching just seven passes for 60 yards. He ranks as a low-end WR3 in fantasy football for Week 12.

Although his status has been trending in the wrong direction, he is officially listed as questionable to play against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12. With Michael Wilson (shoulder) already ruled out, Arizona cannot afford to also lose Brown for this divisional clash. Nevertheless, fantasy managers must prepare a backup plan in the event that the 26-year-old isn't able to play. We should receive confirmation on his status 90 minutes before kickoff Sunday.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) finds himself on the Week 12 injury report after being listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Zach Pascal (hamstring) was also limited. The injury shouldn't keep Brown from playing this weekend versus the division-rival Los Angeles Rams, but it's something worth watching as we get closer to Sunday. The 26-year-old has actually gotten worse in two games since quarterback Kyler Murray returned from Injured Reserve, catching three of nine targets for just 46 scoreless yards. Murray has taken more of a liking to targeting Rondale Moore and tight end Trey McBride so far. Brown should be able to rebound eventually, although he had just four catches for 34 yards in the first game against LA on Oct. 15.

Arizona Cardinals wide-receiver Marquise Brown brought in just two of five targets for a measly 18 yards in the team's 21-16 loss to the Houston Texans. For the second straight week, Hollywood had a major fantasy clunker, as he's struggled recently against two top pass defenses. In the last two games he's played with quarterback Kyler Murray, Brown has been able to corral just three of nine targets. While the last two games have been....bad, the upcoming Week 12 matchup will be against the division-rival Rams, who haven't been nearly as good against the pass. Brown will look to exploit that to his advantage and remains a solid WR2.

  • Marquise Brown Looking To Bounce Back In Week 11

    Headshot for Marquise Brown

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown is coming off a one-catch, 28-yard performance in the Week 10 win over the Atlanta Falcons. What made the performance even more head-scratching is that it was the first game with quarterback Kyler Murray back under center after the signal-caller tore his ACL in Week 14 of last year. Fantasy managers shouldn't fret, though, as it could take Brown and Murray a bit of time to regain some chemistry. In eight games together in 2022, the 26-year-old Brown had 53 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns on 80 targets. Despite the bad game last week, Brown should be in fantasy lineups as a low-end WR2/high-end WR3 against a Houston Texans secondary that has allowed the ninth-most half-PPPR points (31.0) per game in the last three weeks.

It's clear the Falcons were intent on stopping Hollywood's big play ability, and other than the lone 28-yard gain they were able to shut him down completely. Despite the clunker, it's clear the chemistry is still there between Brown and Murray, and the dynamic duo will look to get back on track in Week 11 when the Cardinals take on the Houston Texans.

  • Marquise Brown A High-End WR2 In Week 10

    Headshot for Marquise Brown

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown should be considered a high-end WR2 in the team's Week 10 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Brown is currently the WR32 in all of fantasy and has had five games with WR2 or higher finishes this season, most of those with Joshua Dobbs as his signal caller. With Dobbs no longer on the team and Kyler Murray (knee) expected to make his long-awaited season debut, the opportunity is there for Hollywood to have a bounce-back game. Additionally, the Falcons have allowed at least three receiving touchdowns to primary receivers in the last three weeks, showcasing even more potential for Brown. Fantasy managers should view him as a WR2 with the upside for more.

Even though Brown is currently the WR28 in all of fantasy, the odds are against him doing well in this game. Additionally, Arizona plans on starting rookie quarterback Clayton Tune under center in this matchup, further complicating matters. Headshot for Marquise Brown

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown has a brutal matchup in Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens. Even though Brown is currently the WR28 in all of fantasy, the odds of him doing well in this game are not good. Baltimore is at or near the top in almost every defensive passing statistic, and the Arizona offense doesn't currently project to change that narrative. The Ravens have allowed the lowest PPR points per target and the 12th-lowest receiving yards to perimeter wide receivers this season. With that in mind, it will be challenging for Brown to do much damage against his former team. Fantasy managers should consider Hollywood at best a WR2 in this Week 8 showdown.

In a game in which quarterback Joshua Dobbs threw for only 146 yards with no touchdowns, Brown finished as the team's leading receiver on the day. To that end, Brown had his second subpar fantasy finish in as many weeks. Even though Hollywood has been a streaky option over the course of his NFL career, he does have the benefit of being the current alpha in the Arizona passing game.
