  • D.K. Metcalf Is Risk/Reward DFS Play Against Rams

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf has struggled against the Rams Defense this season, catching just eight passes in two games against them and failing to find the end zone. Metcalf is one of the NFL's best receivers, but the Rams have bottled him up this season, and he's also coming off a rough Week 17 in which he had three catches for 21 yards against the 49ers. Metcalf's upside remains high as he's capable of posting 100-plus yards and multiple touchdowns, but there's more risk than usual.

  • D.K. Metcalf Bounces Back In Week 16

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf was coming off of a down performance in Week 15, and he was solid in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams. He caught six of his eight targets for 58 yards. In the first matchup between these two squads, Metcalf was nearly non-existent. Metcalf is now just six yards away from passing former Seahawk Steve Largent for the franchise record for receiving yards in a single season. Metcalf remains a nearly unguardable player on the outside, and he's only going to get better heading into next season. He's likely to finish as a top-five wideout this year, and he could finish as the top overall player next season.

  • D.K. Metcalf Has A Bad Matchup In Week 16

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf has been a great performer for fantasy managers all season, but that may not continue for Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are one of just three teams that have been able to hold Metcalf under 10 PPR points on the year. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey has the speed and size to run with him on a consistent basis. Even though Metcalf had his problems with Ramsey and the Rams Defense in the first meeting this season, he's been too good to outright bench in with fantasy titles on the line this week. Metcalf has WR1 upside each and every week, but fantasy managers should temper expectations to more of a WR2 level in Week 16.

  • D.K. Metcalf A Must-Start Against Washington

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf had a strong rookie season, and he's more than built on that throughout the course of his second season heading into Week 15 matchup against the Washington Football Team. Metcalf is averaging nearly 19 fantasy points per game and he's scored 13 or more in all but two games this season. There isn't a logical case for benching Metcalf this week, but you do have to temper expectations against a rising Washington defensive unit.

  • DK Metcalf Is Fine After Ankle Injury

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (ankle) tweaked his ankle after a catch and run play on the opening drive of Sunday's game against the New York Jets. He was taken out of the game for the rest of the opening drive, but was ruled probable to return by the Seahawks and appears ready to get right back into the game. Fantasy owners can breathe a sigh of relief. Metcalf should be able to have a field day against a weak Jets Defense.

  • D.K. Metcalf Is A WR1 In Week 14

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf fell victim to his offense's struggles in Week 13, but he has a strong chance to bounce back in Week 14 against the winless Jets. Metcalf and quarterback Russell Wilson have established a strong deep connection and they should be able to take advantage of these New York Jets cornerbacks. None of them have the size or physicality to match up with Metcalf effectively. The one concern you may have is the game becoming a blowout, thus allowing Seattle to just run and sit on their lead. Metcalf should get his damage done early, though, and you should feel safe starting him.

  • D.K. Metcalf Solid In Week 13

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf has been one of the best wide receivers in football this season, but he didn't explode at the rate we're used to seeing in Week 13 against the New York Giants. He caught five of his eight targets for 80 yards on the afternoon. Metcalf's big-play ability and scoring prowess has carried him to a WR3 overall position entering the week. That wasn't there this weekend, though, and he's in need of a bounce-back game from his quarterback over the next few weeks to carry his fantasy value. You're not going to be benching Metcalf, especially against the New York Jets in Week 13, but he does have some difficult matchups following that game.

  • D.K. Metcalf Is A WR1 In Week 13

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf just got done cooking Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay, and he's setting his sights on the New York Giants secondary for Week 13. On the year, he's averaging over 19 PPR points per game. Through 11 games, he's been held under 13.6 fantasy points just twice. The Giants are allowing just 23.0 fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position, but they haven't been matching up with a quarterback-receiver duo like Russell Wilson and Metcalf. With good weather forecasted for Sunday, he's a strong play again this week.

  • D.K. Metcalf Unstoppable In Week 12

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf continued his strong 2020 season by annihilating Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay in Week 12 on Monday night. He caught 10 of his 13 targets for 177 yards, and one of those three incompletions was a drop that should have been a touchdown. Metcalf has emerged as the favorite target for quarterback Russell Wilsonand he's a safe start every week with a ton of upside thanks to his big-play ability. With a soft schedule ahead, you're slotting Metcalf into your lineups with a lot of confidence as you head into your playoff matchups. Metcalf should be unstoppable once again in Week 13 against the Giants.

  • D.K. Metcalf Finishes With A Good Game In Week 11

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf bounced back from a bad performance in Week 10 with a solid Week 11 outing against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday, but he was two plays away from looking even better. He caught three of his five targets for 46 yards and a touchdown. He dropped one pass in the back of the end zone that would have been good for his second touchdown of the night. A little later in the game, he dropped a pass that would've likely given him a big gain. If he comes down with those two balls, he's finishing with an outing of at least 20 PPR points. Metcalf is a top-10 fantasy wide receiver, and with four stellar matchups ahead, he should be locked into your lineups over the next month.

  • D.K. Metcalf Has A Tough Matchup In Week 11

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf is the WR5 heading into the team's Week 11 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday, but it might be difficult for him to maintain his hold on that spot this week. In the previous matchup between these two squads, he saw five targets and caught just two of them for 23 yards. Cornerback Patrick Peterson has the size and speed to match up with Metcalf and have a good amount of success, and that's rare in the NFL. Due to the high-powered offense that he plays in, though, Metcalf is still a low-end WR1/high-end WR2, but the expectations should be tempered this week.

  • D.K. Metcalf Remains A WR1 In Week 10

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf proved in Week 9 that there aren't many matchups he can't win, and he'll look to do that again in Week 10 against cornerback Jalen Ramsey and the Los Angeles Rams. Against Tre'Davious White of the Buffalo Bills, he caught seven of his nine targets for 108 yards and a touchdown. Per Pro Football Focus, Ramsey is currently grading out as the 15th-best corner in football and he is one of the few corners that have the size and speed to match up with Metcalf. When Metcalf struggled against the Arizona Cardinals, cornerback Patrick Peterson stuck with him all game. You can't afford to bench Metcalf with the volume and production that he's putting up, but you should temper expectations.

  • D.K. Metcalf Leads Team In Receiving Against Bills

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf continued to show why he's one of the top wide receivers in the NFL on Sunday. In a 44-34 loss to the Buffalo Bills, Metcalf recorded seven catches for 108 yards and a touchdown. He saw a team-high nine targets. Metcalf now has recorded 90 or more yards in all but one game this season and appears to staked a firm claim to the No. 1 wide receiver role in Seattle. Metcalf should be considered a fantasy WR1 at this point.

  • D.K. Metcalf Coming Off Career Game

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf had his best game as a professional in Week 8, which means he's likely to come back down to Earth a bit in Week 9 against the Buffalo Bills. Aside from the fact that his performance was nearly impossible to repeat, his matchup is significantly more difficult against cornerback Tre'Davious White, who is arguably the best cornerback in football. The main driving forces behind playing Metcalf this week are the connection that he's building with quarterback Russell Wilsonand what is expected to be an extremely high-scoring game. More points equal more opportunities for Metcalf to score. The second-year wideout has WR1 upside on a weekly basis, but there could be some more volatility after he set such lofty standards a week ago.

  • D.K. Metcalf Should Bounce Back In Week 8

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf had a brutal Week 7 against Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, but he's poised for a bounce-back performance in Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers. He's gone over 90 yards in five out of six games this season and he's scored a touchdown in four out of his six games. Metcalf's combination of size and speed makes him a handful to cover for the majority of cornerbacks. The 49ers are a tough matchup because they're the sixth-best defense against the wide receiver position in terms of fantasy points allowed. He likely won't be in the WR1 conversation, but Metcalf is a solid WR2 play for the week in Seattle's high-scoring offense.

  • D.K. Metcalf Is A WR1 In Week 7

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf is the WR8 on the year through six weeks, and he's looking to keep that rolling in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals. Metcalf is expected to match up with cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, and that's an advantage in favor of Metcalf, who has a decent speed advantage over Kirkpatrick. Metcalf has gone for at least 90 yards in every game thus far, and he's scored a touchdown in four out of five games. With the connection he has with quarterback Russell Wilson right now, he's an easy start in all formats this week as a WR1.
