  • A.J. Brown Looks To Bounce Back In Plus Matchup

    Headshot for A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown will go on the road to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3 on Monday night. It has been a slow start for the Eagles' top target. Through two weeks, Brown has just 11 receptions for 108 scoreless yards. Meanwhile, teammate DeVonta Smith has 11 receptions for 178 yards and two touchdowns. This matchup against Tampa seems like the perfect situation to apply grease to the squeaky wheel in Week 3 for Brown and the Eagles. The Buccaneers have struggled to stop top pass catchers the past two weeks, allowing Justin Jefferson to gain 150 yards in Week 1 and DJ Moore to go for over 100 yards last week. After being visibly upset on the sideline last week about his lack of involvement, expect Brown to see a heavy target share in Week 3. Consider the 26-year-old a top 10 option.

  • A.J. Brown Has Quiet Night Against Minnesota

    Headshot for A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown caught 4-of-6 targets for 29 yards during the team's 34-28 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Philadelphia dominated this game on the ground and had just over 60% of their total passing yards come from two deep receptions by DeVonta Smith. This left little opportunity for any other Eagles' pass catcher, causing Brown to become visibly upset on the sideline and voice his frustration. Quarterback Jalen Hurts looked his way multiple times on the next drive after this and even hit the 26-year-old for a touchdown, but it was called back due to a holding penalty on Rashaad Penny. Fantasy managers do not need to worry about Brown moving forward, and he should get the squeaky wheel treatment in the team's next matchup against Tampa Bay.

  • A.J. Brown - Week 2 Outlook for Fantasy Football

    Headshot for A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown will take on the Minnesota Vikings in the team's home opener Thursday night. The 26-year-old opened the regular season with seven receptions on 10 targets for 79 yards against a tough New England Patriots pass defense. Brown has a much better matchup this week against the Vikings. Minnesota allowed Baker Mayfield to pepper Mike Evans with 10 targets and allowed Tampa Bay's top option to gain 66 yards and score. After a mediocre outing for the Philadelphia passing attack, expect a bounce-back performance for the offense as a whole, led by Brown. All Eagles pass catchers are great fantasy options this week, but consider their No. 1 receiver a top-five option at the position in Week 2.

  • A.J. Brown Leads Eagles In Receiving In Win Over Patriots

    Headshot for A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown caught 7-of-10 targets and gained 79 yards during the team's 25-20 victory over the New England Patriots. The 26-year-old had a quiet first half but was peppered with target late in the contest. It was a solid fantasy outing in what was otherwise a lackluster performance by the offense as a whole. Brown had a great catch down the sideline that ended up getting called back, which would have put him over 100 receiving yards on the night. The Eagles have a short break before hosting the Minnesota Vikings in their home opener Thursday night. The Vikings just dropped a game to Tampa Bay in their home opener and struggled to stop Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans. Brown should be considered an elite fantasy option in Week 2.

  • A.J. Brown A Top-Five Option Against New England

    Headshot for A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown will open the season on the road against the New England Patriots on Sunday. The 26-year-old had his best fantasy season to date in 2022 and will look to continue to dominate as the No. 1 option for the Jalen Hurts-led passing attack in Philadelphia. Sunday's matchup against New England should not worry fantasy managers. The Patriots gave up the eighth-most receiving yards to the position last season and have lost veteran safety Devin McCourty, who retired this past March. New England will have their hands full trying to keep Hurts from escaping the pocket, opening up Brown to a potential increase of deep targets. The fifth-year receiver should be considered a top-five fantasy option during opening weekend.

  • Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown Building Chemistry

    Headshot for A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver A.J. Brown had a close relationship dating back to their teenage years going already, which contributed to the star receiver hitting the ground running in his first year with the team in 2022 (88 catches, 1,496 yards, 11 TDs). Hurts said the two have been working on building "new chemistry" this summer. "The goal for us is to continue to grow, continue to find that new chemistry. I think for us, you talk about any time you have success, you try to leave that as the foundation, as the new standard. So we just want to continue to grow," Hurts said. The 24-year-old has a sense of urgency after an MVP-caliber season in 2022, and he's even more comfortable going into his third season of the same offensive scheme. Hurts and Brown are both high-end options at their respective positions in fantasy.

  • Offseason In Review: Philadelphia Eagles

    Headshot for Dan Arnold

Like Doug Pederson, Nick Sirianni led the Eagles to a Super Bowl in his sophomore HC effort. The endings proved different, as Philadelphia’s defense could not stop Patrick Mahomes in a shootout, but the Eagles went from 9-8 in 2021 to the NFC’s best team. While this represents considerable progress after the team did not […]

    Headshot for Olamide Zaccheaus

Aside from running back Miles Sanders, who departed for Carolina in free agency, the Eagles return every starting skill player on offense. For an offense that finished last year second in the league in scoring and total yardage, that doesn’t leave a lot of room for improvement. Still the defending NFC Champions may have found […]
