  • Gus Edwards Remains Involved In Win

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards finished with eight carries for 38 yards during the win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Despite getting a carry less than J.K. Dobbins, the rookie was more efficient between the two by racking up 43 yards and a touchdown. With Lamar Jackson and Dobbins working as the team's featured backs, Edwards has been relegated to an afterthought. While the upside is still there, he will be a risky option in any fantasy contest in the Ravens' next postseason matchup.

  • Gus Edwards Still A Threat

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards still has upside on Sunday against Tennessee. While J.K. Dobbins has been the preferred option out of the backfield, especially after finding the end zone in each of his previous six outings, Edwards continues to get his touches. With the Ravens committed to getting things done on the run, there should be plenty of work to go around on the ground for Edwards, Dobbins, and Lamar Jackson to be relevant from a fantasy standpoint during the Wild Card encounter with the Titans.

  • Gus Edwards Plays Second Fiddle On Sunday

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards finished with 60 yards off 12 carries during the win over the Bengals in Week 17. He also had a catch for 10 yards. Edwards continued to split time with Lamar Jackson and J.K. Dobbins on Sunday. However, it was the rookie who made the biggest impact on the ground by racking up 160 yards and two touchdowns on the afternoon. Although the 25-year-old had arguably the best season of his career, he may have more value in 2021 on a different team, primarily if he isn't involved in a timeshare. Nonetheless, regardless of where he ends up, he is a serviceable fantasy option who will likely retain late-round value in fantasy drafts during the offseason.

  • Gus Edwards Expected To Play Against Bengals

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards (back) is expected to play against the Bengals in Week 17. Edwards is seemingly on the right side of questionable after getting a limited practice in on Friday. The 25-year-old exceeded 100 scrimmage yards last week and has seen a bigger role with Mark Ingram II essentially relegated to the bench. Edwards will be sharing backfield duties with J.K. Dobbins but should have some upside against the Bengals' 25th-ranked run defense. Both backs should be looked at as fringe RB2s.

  • Gus Edwards Remains Involved Against Giants

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards racked up 85 yards off 15 attempts during the win over the Giants on Sunday. He also caught both of his targets for 37 yards. Although the 25-year-old didn't find the end zone like J.K. Dobbins did in Week 16, he still provided adequate support for fantasy managers in deeper formats. He may concede touches once again to Dobbins and Lamar Jackson in the regular-season finale against Cincinnati, but he still has flex appeal, nonetheless, as he is always a threat to score.

  • Gus Edwards Remains Involved Against Jaguars

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards had 42 yards off nine carries during the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. He also caught both of his targets for 36 yards. Although the 25-year-old conceded touches to J.K. Dobbins and Lamar Jackson, who combined for 24 attempts for 99 yards and two touchdowns, he remained involved, much to the delight of his fantasy managers. Although he will likely remain locked in a timeshare with Dobbins and Jackson for the remainder of the year, there still should be plenty of snaps to go around as the team continues to rely heavily on the run.

  • Gus Edwards Still Has Value In Week 15

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards has fantasy value despite conceding carries to J.K. Dobbins and Lamar Jackson from week-to-week. The 25-year-old has only 23 carries over his previous three outings, but he has racked up three touchdowns during that same span. Despite his low volume of carries, the Ravens appear committed to running the ball, so Edwards is still a sufficient option in all formats based on his high ceiling and potential to find the end zone. Fantasy managers should keep him in mind against the horrendous Jacksonville Jaguars Defense in Week 15.

  • Gus Edwards Runs It In Twice In Week 14

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards ran for 49 yards and two touchdowns off of seven attempts during the win over Cleveland in Week 14. He also added a catch for four yards. Although the 25-year-old conceded carries to rookie J.K. Dobbins on Monday night, he was still more efficient by maintaining an impressive 7.0 YPC. He has now found the end zone three times in his previous three outings. With the Ravens committed to attacking utilizing the run, there is no reason for Edwards not to be starting in fantasy lineups against the Jaguars next weekend. Keep him rolling in all formats.

  • Gus Edwards Leads The Way On Tuesday Night

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards ran for 101 yards off seven attempts during the Week 13 win over the Cowboys. Despite a low number of carries, the 23-year-old put forth a solid effort, thanks in part to a 36-yard run early in the second quarter and an impressive 14.4 YPC. While he still conceded carries to the trio of Lamar Jackson, J.K. Dobbins, and Mark Ingram II, fantasy managers were likely pleased with the finished product. Edwards and company will next meet with the Browns for Monday Night Football. He remains a borderline flex option with upside for those with nowhere else to turn, primarily since the timeshare in the backfield should continue moving ahead.

  • Gus Edwards Is Trending Down

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards got a crack at the lead back role in Week 12 with J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram II on the COVID list. He responded with 10 yards on nine carries, though he did find the end zone once. Edwards has finished with two yards per carry or fewer in four of the last six games, and while he continues to get some red zone work, the fact that Justice Hill had the same number of carries as him last week shows just how limited his upside is. Even against a Cowboys Defense allowing the second-most rushing yards in the league, Edwards is a touchdown-dependent RB4.

  • Ravens Dealing With COVID-19 Outbreak

The Baltimore Ravens have had five players and four staffers test positive for COVID-19 this week, according to sources. The game on Thanksgiving on Thursday night against the division-rival Steelers is still on, but a source warned that more positives could mean postponing it. It's unclear if the game would be pushed back to the weekend or Monday night or if it would be postponed entirely for Week 12. Either way, fantasy managers need to keep an eye out for more updates, especially if you plan on starting any players from that game. Ravens running backs Mark Ingram II and rookie J.K. Dobbins are two of the players that tested positive, and they will be out against Pittsburgh. If the game is played this week, Gus Edwards has RB2 upside, even in the tough matchup.

  • Gus Edwards Has Plenty Of Upside In Week 12

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards will likely serve as the team's workhorse in Week 12 against a tough Steelers Defense. With J.K. Dobbins (illness) and Mark Ingram II (illness) both testing positive for COVID-19, the former Scarlet Knight's fantasy stock is the highest it's been all year. Although Justice Hill will be around the gobble some snaps on Thanksgiving, Edwards should still handle most of the snaps out of the backfield in both the run and passing game. While the matchup against Pittsburgh isn't favorable for anyone, the 25-year-old should still be a suitable waiver-wire option and a value play in DFS formats.

  • Gus Edwards Nonfactor In Week 11

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards rushed three times for six yards in Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans. He was on the field for just 13 snaps. Maybe it was a one-game blip, or maybe J.K. Dobbins has assumed the lead running back role in Baltimore and isn't going to give it back. Don't drop Edwards, who still has deep league value thanks to his ability to find his way into the end zone, but it might be a good idea to keep him on the bench in Week 12.

  • Ravens Backfield Competition Ensnares Gus Edwards' Intrigue

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards could be a significant fantasy contributor if he was not part of a three-headed, by-committee backfield monster that the Ravens have created. Even though he was the team's leading running back rusher last week, he still logged just seven carries for 42 yards. With Mark Ingram II on track to suit up versus the Titans on Sunday, fantasy managers should expect more of the same when it comes to a division of labor on carries, severely capping intrigue as it pertains to Edwards. He'll be a touchdown-dependent option in deeper season-long formats or for those fantasy managers desperate for an RB3 that is slated to see at least half a dozen carries.

  • Gus Edwards Struggles On Sunday

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards finished with 23 yards off 11 attempts during the win over the Colts on Sunday. He also caught two passes for 11 yards. For the second consecutive week, Edwards received an enhanced role due to the absence of Mark Ingram II (ankle), who is considered week-to-week. While he split carries once again with rookie J.K. Dobbins, who had 12 attempts for 30 yards, neither player reached the level of efficiency that they had in Week 8 against the Steelers. Both men should continue to receive touches out of the backfield until Ingram can make his way back, which could come as early as next weekend against the Patriots for a Sunday Night Football showdown. Until then, Edwards and Dobbins should be considered adequate options with upside for those looking to fill an injury or bye week void.

  • Gus Edwards A Suitable Option On Sunday

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards may split carries once again with J.K. Dobbins against the Colts. With Mark Ingram II (ankle) likely out of the picture on Sunday, Edwards should be of value for those fantasy managers looking to fill a void. The 25-year-old filled in admirably against the Steelers last weekend, finishing with 87 yards and a touchdown off 16 attempts. Though Dobbins could see a few more looks from quarterback Lamar Jackson, making him a more desirable option in PPR leagues, Edwards still a place in all formats in Week 9.

  • Gus Edwards Impresses In Week 8

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards finished with 16 carries for 87 yards and a touchdown during the loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday. Although the 25-year-old split carries with rookie J.K. Dobbins, he still made the most of his time on the field. With Mark Ingram II (ankle) expected to be out of the mix for a week or more, Edwards could be in store for an expanded workload and increase in fantasy value despite the anticipated timeshare with Dobbins.
