  • Brett Maher A Good Option In Week 5 Lineups

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher should once again be a strong option in Week 5 fantasy lineups. Maher has made four field goals in each of his last two games and has proven to be one of the more consistently productive fantasy kickers. That should continue in Week 5 against the Rams.

  • Brett Maher Makes Four Field Goals In Week 4

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher had a huge game in a Week 4 win over the Washington Commanders. Maher made all four of his field goal kicks and his one extra point, including a long field goal of 53 yards. With the Cowboys offense moving the ball fairly well but struggling to get it into the end zone, Maher was there to end most of the Dallas drives with three points. Maher has been a solid fantasy kicker and should continue to be going forward.

  • Brett Maher A Solid Kicking Option For Week 4 Lineups

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher is a solid kicking option in Week 4 fantasy lineups. Maher made three of his four field goal tries in Week 3, missing just a 59-yarder to close out the first half. He's had back-to-back solid performances and should once again see at least a few kicking options against the Washington Commanders. Maher is a solid fantasy kicker to roster and makes for a great streamer as well.

  • Brett Maher Makes Five Kicks In Week 3

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher made five kicks in a Week 3 win over the New York Giants. Maher made three of his four field goal attempts and both of his extra point tries. His long field goal came from 44 yards out and his miss was from 59 yards out. The Cowboys interestingly chose to punt at one point in the first half from what would have been in Maher's range, but MetLife Stadium is notoriously tough to kick in. Still, it was a strong performance from Maher, who has now made six of his seven field goal kicks and all four of his extra points. He's a useful fantasy kicker in leagues that still use them.

  • Brett Maher A Decent Week 3 Kicking Option

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher is a decent kicking option for Week 3 fantasy lineups. Maher was great in Week 2, kicking two 50+ yard field goals and nailing both extra point tries. With Cooper Rush showing that he is indeed able to move the Cowboys offense down the field, Maher could get some more kicking chances coming up. He's a solid high-floor option in fantasy football's least predictable position.

  • Brett Maher Makes Two Field Goals And Two Extra Points

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher made all four of his kicking attempts in a Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Maher kicked two extra points and two field goals, including a game-winner from 50 yards out. His other field goal came from 54 yards away. With quarterback Cooper Rush set to make at least another start or two, Maher can probably be left on the waiver wire in most fantasy formats.

  • Brett Maher Not A Strong Kicking Option In Week 2

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher is not a strong kicking option in Week 2 fantasy lineups. Maher scored the only points for the Cowboys in a rough 19-3 loss in Week 1, but with Cooper Rush set to lead the Dallas offense, it's unlikely they need Maher for many extra points and unfortunately also unlikely they even get into field goal range all that often. Most fantasy leagues will have higher floor and higher upside kickers available on the waiver wire.

  • Brett Maher Scores The Only Cowboys Points In Week 1

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher scored the only Cowboys points in a 19-3 Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Bucs. Maher attempted one field goal and made it from 51 yards out. And that was it. That was the extent of the Cowboys offense in a rough Week 1 game. Now with Dak Prescott (hand) out for two months, the Cowboys will have an even harder time scoring, which will lead to fewer opportunities for Maher. He was a fringe fantasy kicker before but is mostly off the radar now.

  • Cowboys Promote Brett Maher To Active Roster

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday. The team didn't have a kicker on the depth chart, so elevating Maher was an obvious decision ahead of the Sunday Night Football matchup versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 32-year-old hasn't been the most potent fantasy performer over the years, nailing only 65 of his 84 attempts during his career. While Maher could make for a streaming option for needy managers, he won't be a week-to-week fantasy starter until he becomes more consistent.

  • Brett Maher Wins Kicker Job, Lirim Hajrullahu Released

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher is the only remaining kicker on the team's roster after it released Lirim Hajrullahu on Tuesday. Maher provides a familiar face to the Dallas kicking game, having appeared in 29 games across the 2018-19 campaigns. The 32-year-old kicked in eight games for the Saints last year, missing just one of 17 kicks from inside 50 yards. Hajrullahu kicked in one contest for Dallas last season, knocking through all five extra points he attempted. Maher isn't regarded as a stout fantasy choice, but his placement in the Cowboys' offense could vault him toward rostership on weeks where a favorable matchup is presented.

  • Cowboys Sign Brett Maher

The Dallas Cowboys have reached an agreement with kicker Brett Maher. The organization brought in Maher along with a few other kickers for a tryout. Clearly, Maher has won that battle and has been signed by the organization. He made 16-of-18 field goals for the New Orleans Saints in 2021. Before that, Maher spent two seasons as a member of the Cowboys. The expectation is that Maher and Lirim Hajrullahu will compete for the kicking job in training camp. Fantasy managers can wait and see who wins this competition before adding one of them in fantasy formats.

  • Brett Maher Has Workout With Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have decided to bring in some more kickers for added competition. They hosted kickers Brett Maher, Cole Murphy and Matt Ammendola for workouts. Cleary, the organization isn't happy with the results they're getting from Lirim Hajrullahu and rookie Jonathan Garibay. The team might add another kicker to the mix, but that remains to be seen. Maher spent two seasons with Dallas earlier in his career before joining the New Orleans Saints. The 32-year-old made 16-of-18 field goal attempts through eight games with the Saints last season. Possibly, Maher can earn himself the kicking gig in Dallas. However, fantasy managers can wait this one out before jumping on the waiver wire.
