  • Taysom Hill Expected To Undergo Foot Surgery

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said that quarterback Taysom Hill (foot) is expected to undergo surgery for the Lisfranc injury that he suffered to his left foot on Sunday in the win over the Atlanta Falcons. Hill is also expected to need a smaller follow-up surgery, and there is no specific timetable for his return. The 31-year-old will have the offseason to heal up after the Saints were eliminated from postseason contention in the Week 18 regular season finale. Hill played in 12 games (nine starts) in 2021, going 78-for-134 (58.2%) for 978 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions. He also ran the ball 70 times for 374 yards (5.3 yards per carry) and five more TDs. If he's the Saints starting QB to open the 2022 season, he'll be a low-end streaming option on a weekly basis because of his rushing ability, but he could be in for another competition this summer.

  • Taysom Hill Questionable To Return With Lisfranc Injury

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said that quarterback Taysom Hill (foot) is dealing with a Lisfranc injury. Hill is questionable to return for the second half of the Week 18 regular season finale against the Atlanta Falcons. Lisfranc injuries typically require lengthy absences, especially for a player like Hill that uses his legs as a big part of his game. Before leaving the game in the first half, Hill went 7-for-9 passing for 107 yards and a touchdown and carried the ball five times for an additional 18 yards. It seems unlikely that we'll see Hill return to this must-win game, and if New Orleans gets into the playoffs with a win and a 49ers loss, Hill will be fighting an uphill battle to play in the wild-card round next week. Trevor Siemian entered the game with Hill injured and has gone 5-for-9 for 35 yards and two touchdowns.

  • Taysom Hill Throws For 222 Yards Against Panthers

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill went 17-for-28 for 222 yards and one touchdown along with rushing 12 times for 45 yards in Sunday's win over Carolina. Hill was decent in both the rushing and passing game, something he hasn't been able to do much of this season. The QB brings solid dual-threat value to the field and that makes his fantasy value decent. Hill should be considered a great streaming option in the season finale against Atlanta, a team that allows the third-most fantasy points to QBs.

  • Taysom Hill - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill is in the streaming conversation as a low-end QB1 for Week 17 against Carolina. Hill missed Week 16 after landing on the COVID list but is expected to be back for this week's contest. The QB hasn't been all that effective in the passing game as he has posted over 200 yards once in the past three games he has played. Nevertheless, he has posted 73 rushing yards or more in two of the past three games too. The Panthers are quite stingy against fantasy QBs, but Hill's dual-threat abilities put him in the streaming tier.

  • Taysom Hill Activated From COVID-19 List

The New Orleans Saints activated quarterbacks Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian and linebacker Demario Davis from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday. Rookie Ian Book was forced to make his first career NFL start on Monday night against the Miami Dolphins and predictably face-planted against a really good Dolphins defense. Hill's return as the starting QB will be a big lift for the entire Saints offense in Week 17, but the matchup against the division-rival Carolina Panthers isn't the best. On the season, they've allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to QBs. However, Hill's dual-threat abilities and rushing prowess always make him an attractive QB1 streamer. Davis is an All-Pro caliber linebacker that will make an already strong Saints defense that much better against a struggling Panthers offense this Sunday.

  • Taysom Hill On COVID List, Ian Book To Start Monday

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill is being placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday and will miss Monday night's game against the Miami Dolphins. Trevor Siemian also went on the COVID list on Thursday, so rookie Ian Book will start in Week 16 against the Miami Dolphins. It will be the fourth QB the Saints have used this season. The Dolphins defense/special teams just became a lot more interesting as a streamer in what is the fantasy football semifinals in a lot of leagues. Book, a fourth-round pick out of Notre Dame, will be making his first career start in the NFL. The aggressive Miami defense will be licking their chops in this one. Fantasy managers need to downgrade all of New Orleans' offensive skill players, including do-it-all running back Alvin Kamara.

  • Taysom Hill Manages 154 Yards Against Bucs

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill went 13-for-27 for 154 yards along with rushing for 33 yards in Sunday's win over Tampa. Hill has normally done well in the rushing game to make up for his lack of explosiveness in the passing game but this was an off-day for the 31-year-old. He shouldn't be considered an every-week fantasy starter and should only be streamed in favorable matchups going forward.

  • Taysom Hill - Week 15 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill is a low-end QB1 against the Bucs in Week 15. Hill has been starting the past couple of games for New Orleans and while his passing game numbers haven't been the strongest, his rushing numbers have been excellent. The QB rushed for 101 yards a couple of weeks ago and added another 73 with two scores last week. Hill will always bring that dual-threat presence and he's worth streaming this week against a Bucs squad that allows the fourth-most fantasy points to QBs.

  • Saints To Be Without All-Pro Tackles

New Orleans Saints offensive tackles Ryan Ramczyk (knee) and Terron Armstead (knee) both missed practice all week and were ruled out for Sunday night's divisional clash against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Against a very strong Buccaneers defensive line, this could cause some serious issues for the Saints offense in Week 15. Armstead re-injured his knee in last week's game and will miss his sixth game of the season as a result. James Hurst is expected to start on quarterback Taysom Hill's blind side on Sunday, while Jordan Mills will start on the right side of the line. It's bad news for Hill and the Saints offense as a whole this weekend.

  • Taysom Hill Rushes For Two Touchdowns In Week 14

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill went 15-for-21 for 175 yards along with 11 carries for 73 yards and two scores in Sunday's win over the Jets. Hill has been dealing with a mallet finger injury but that didn't stop him from running all over the Jets. The versatile player may not be the most explosive in the passing game, but his rushing prowess keeps him in the fantasy mix. Going forward, the QB is worth being in the streaming conversation if he has a favorable matchup.

  • Taysom Hill Cleared To Start In Week 14

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (right finger) was removed from the injury report and will start against the Jets on Sunday. This was widely expected after he practiced in full all week long. The 31-year-old was shaky during his first start of the season last week, completing 19 of 41 passes for 264 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions. On a more positive note, he did add 101 rushing yards. He figures to be a high-end QB2 against the Jets and is a strong streaming option in all formats.

  • Taysom Hill - Week 14 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill is a low-end QB1 option against the Jets in Week 14. Hill did throw four picks last week against Dallas but still did manage 264 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and 101 rushing yards. He is a dual-threat player who can bring fantasy value in more than one way. Benefitting Hill this week is a matchup against the hapless Jets, who are top-10 in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. The 31-year-old is a great streaming option this week.

  • Taysom Hill Practicing In Full

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (finger) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. It confirms an earlier report that he was in line to play in Week 14 against the New York Jets despite suffering from mallet finger in last Thursday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Hill won't need surgery on his finger, but that doesn't mean that the 31-year-old will be very accurate throwing the football the rest of the season. Luckily, he'll be facing a Jets defense that just isn't good. They've allowed the fourth-most passing yards per game (263.4), although they've allowed the third-fewest rushing yards to QBs. Hill isn't valuable for his arm. He should run enough to be a low-end QB1 after going for 101 yards on 11 attempts in his first start of the year last week.

Dec 8 · Source via Saints Taysom Hill
  • Taysom Hill in Line to Start on Sunday

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (finger) appears in line to start on Sunday despite suffering mallet finger last week against the Cowboys. Hill jammed his finger on the outstretched arm of a Cowboy defender and then had to play the rest of the game with a splint on his throwing hand. As you know, Hill proceeded to then throw four interceptions; however, he also had a great fantasy day because of his rushing upside and a long touchdown pass to Deonte Harris (that was like 90% Harris after the catch). Given that Hill has had 10 days to recover and will likely spend all week in practice throwing with protection on his finger, we can expect a better throwing outcome against the Jets. However, with Kamara back, Hill dinged up, and the Saints expected to win this one easily, the Saints are likely to feature a run heavy approach that could limit Hill's upside if he isn't the one doing a lot of the running. As a result, he'll be a risky low-end QB1 with considerable upside.

  • Taysom Hill Will Play Through Mallet Finger

New Orleans Saints doctors determined that quarterback Taysom Hill (finger) suffered a mallet-finger injury in the Thursday night loss to the Dallas Cowboys, but it will not require surgery considering it's not as extensive as the one that Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson suffered earlier this year, according to a source. So Hill will try to play through the finger injury to his throwing hand after he went 19-for-41 for 264 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions in his first start of 2021. The 31-year-old was electric with his legs, though, rushing 11 times for 101 yards on the ground. Hill has never been considered above-average as an NFL passer, but the upside he provides on the ground will put him in the low-end QB1 conversation as long as he continues to start for the Saints.

  • Taysom Hill Feared To Have Suffered Torn Tendon In Finger

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (finger) is feared to have suffered a torn tendon in his middle finger in the Thursday night loss to the Dallas Cowboys that may require surgery at some point, according to sources. More tests are coming on Friday. The injury, which is called mallet finger, was the same injury that Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson dealt with earlier this year. Hill went 19-for-41 for 264 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions in his first start of 2021, adding 11 carries for 101 yards. The 31-year-old looked pretty awful throwing the football, but it also must be pretty hard to throw a football accurately if he was indeed playing with a torn tendon in the finger on his throwing hand. Hill's first start of 2021 could also be his last if he needs surgery. Trevor Siemian had his moments in a few games before Hill got his shot, but he'll be a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues if he returns to the starting role in Week 14.

  • Taysom Hill Tosses Four Picks Against Cowboys

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill went 19-for-41 for 264 yards, two touchdowns, and four picks along with rushing 11 times for 101 yards in Thursday's loss to Dallas. Hill's otherwise decent showing was ruined by a string of picks thrown late in the game. The QB does bring more upside than Trevor Siemian as evidence of his rushing prowess but the picks were clearly concerning. At this point, managers will have to wait and see if Hill is the starter going forward, and if he is, then it's best to only start him in favorable matchups for now.

  • Taysom Hill - Week 13 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill is in the QB2 conversation against Dallas in Week 13. Hill has proved throughout his tenure with the Saints that he is a versatile player who can be effective in many different ways. He had a solid year in 2020, where he had 928 passing yards with four touchdowns and two picks, 457 rushing yards with eight scores, and 98 receiving yards with a score as well. Hill will replace Trevor Siemian at QB and will bring a lot more talent to the position. The 31-year-old is a streaming option against a Dallas squad that's average against fantasy QBs.

  • Taysom Hill Confirmed As Week 13 Starter

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill will indeed start on Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys to kick off Week 13 action, according to a source. Hill has been dealing with a partial tear of the plantar fascia in his foot, but he practiced in full all week and has been cleared to take over under center for Trevor Siemian. The 31-year-old has mainly been a gadget player in the Saints offense all year behind Jameis Winston and then Siemian, but now he'll see the majority of snaps under center against Dallas on Thursday night. Hill was decent last year in four starts filling in for the injured Drew Brees, completing 71.9% of his passes while totaling eight touchdowns (four rushing, four passing). He'll be a low-end QB1 streamer/high-end QB2 in his first start in 2021.

  • No Injury Designation For Taysom Hill

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (foot) practiced in full all week and was removed from the final injury report for Thursday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13. The Saints said earlier this week that as long as Hill got through the practice week fine, he'd start over Trevor Siemian. The 31-year-old has been dealing with plantar fasciitis and hasn't played since Nov. 14, but he's expected to lead the offense against Dallas to help break the team's four-game losing streak. Hill will be more useful for his legs than his arm in fantasy, especially if running back Alvin Kamara (knee) misses his fourth straight game with a knee sprain. Consider Hill a high-end QB2/low-end QB1 streamer this week.

  • Taysom Hill With Another Full Practice

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (foot) put in another day of full practice on Tuesday, making it likely that he'll get the start under center on Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys to kick off Week 13. The Saints said that Hill would likely take over for Trevor Siemian earlier this week if Hill made it through the practice week. So far, so good for Hill. Head coach Sean McVay hasn't officially named Hill the starter, but that's probably coming on Wednesday. If fantasy managers need a QB streamer, you could do much worse than Hill. However, the 31-year-old didn't play at all in Week 12 while dealing with plantar fasciitis, so it remains to be seen how much he'll factor into the ground game if he starts. Hill is unlikely to go off through the air, but his rushing upside makes him a high-end QB2 this week.

  • Taysom Hill A Full Participant On Monday

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (foot) was a full participant in Monday's practice and is in line to start on Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13. As long as Hill doesn't suffer a setback in practice this week, he'll take over under center for Trevor Siemian moving forward. The 31-year-old has been dealing with plantar fasciitis and he didn't see any action at all in the Thanksgiving loss to the Buffalo Bills. Hill isn't known for him arm or accurate passing, but he'll be worth picking up off the waiver wire as a potential low-end QB1 streaming option in the right matchups for his rushing ability. He could see even more work on the ground this week if running back Alvin Kamara (knee) isn't ready to return.

  • Taysom Hill Likely To Start In Week 13

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (foot) has been taking first-team reps at practice and is on track to start in Week 13 against the Dallas Cowboys despite dealing with a foot injury over the past couple of weeks. Trevor Siemian has been relegated to the No. 2 QB on the depth chart after a couple of miserable games for the Saints' offense. If Alvin Kamara (knee) and Mark Ingram II (knee) are held out of action once again, Hill could have a significant role as a ball-carrier which would heighten his floor in terms of fantasy production. Still, Hill should be valued as a QB2 but could be an intriguing streaming option for any Aaron Rodgers fantasy managers who need a replacement while the Packers are on their BYE week. He likely won't set the Cowboys' secondary on fire in the passing game, but a rushing touchdown or two could put him in a spot for some noteworthy production on Thursday night.

  • Taysom Hill Signs Four-Year Contract Extension

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill signed a unique four-year contract extension on Monday that could be worth anywhere from $40 million and $95 million, depending on the position he plays, according to sources. The deal includes $22.5 million guaranteed. Hill lost out on the starting QB job to Jameis Winston heading into the 2021 season and has served as the backup to Trevor Siemian since Winston suffered a season-ending knee injury. Siemian has put up decent fantasy numbers since taking over the starting gig, but he did throw two interceptions (one was a pick-six) in a bad loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11. We don't expect Hill to become the starter on a short week for the Thanksgiving game, but it could be coming soon. If Siemian is benched and Hill makes a start, he'll be in the QB2 conversation in superflex leagues, mainly because of his rushing ability.

  • Taysom Hill Will Play Against Eagles

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Hill missed some practice time this week, but was able to get in limited work at the end of the week. He'll see the field some because Sean Payton loves to get Hill into the game, but Trevor Siemian is the New Orleans quarterback right now. Hill could wind up with a rushing touchdown in some kind of goal-line package, but hopefully, no fantasy manager is desperate enough to have to chase those kinds of Hill points this week.

  • Taysom Hill Questionable To Face The Eagles

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (foot) is listed as questionable for Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Hill missed practice on Wednesday and Friday before returning to a limited session on Friday, so he'll at least have a chance to suit up on Sunday. Even if Hill is active this weekend, Trevor Siemian will get another start for the New Orleans offense. Hill has been used very sparingly in the last two games with Siemian starting after he returned from a two-game absence due to a concussion. The 31-year-old Swiss Army Knife will only be useful to fantasy managers in two-QB leagues if he takes over the starting gig from Siemian, mainly due to his rushing prowess. With running back Alvin Kamara (knee) out for the second straight week, Hill could be used as a valuable goal-line weapon if he's active.

  • Taysom Hill, Ty Montgomery Not Present Thursday

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (foot) and wide receiver Ty Montgomery (finger) were both absent at practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Hill and Montgomery are both trending in the wrong direction for the Week 11 game against the Philadelphia Eagles and will likely need to get back on the practice field on Friday to avoid being ruled out. Hill has played the last two games after missing two contests with a concussion. The Saints have used him in limited packages as a runner and passer, leaving him without any substantial fantasy value. If he's inactive on Sunday, it will make Trevor Siemian a slightly more attractive QB2 streamer in two-QB leagues. Montgomery has only six catches on eight targets for 54 yards in eight games in this low-volume passing attack and remains well off the fantasy radar.

  • Taysom Hill Misses Practice With Foot Injury

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (foot) and wide receiver Ty Montgomery (hand) both missed practice on Wednesday. Hill returned from a two-week concussion absence in Week 9 to play 17 offensive snaps. Trevor Siemian got another start in the Week 10 loss to the Tennessee Titans, while Hill saw a slightly bigger role (21 offensive snaps), which translated to three carries for 23 yards and two pass attempts for 11 yards. It remains to be seen if his foot injury is actually serious, but if he can play in Week 11 against the Philadelphia Eagles, he's likely to be used in select packages alongside Siemian. Unless the Saints actually go in a different direction and use Hill as the starter, he won't be a realistic QB2 streamer in superflex leagues.

Nov 17 · Source via Saints Taysom Hill
  • Saints Will Have Packages Designed For Taysom Hill

New Orleans Saints quarterback Trevor Siemian will start over Taysom Hill for the second straight week against the Tennessee Titans in Week 10, but head coach Sean Payton said the team will "have a number of packages we'll use for Taysom (Hill)." Siemian has played well ever since Jameis Winston (knee) went down with a season-ending torn ACL in Week 8. Hill had 77 rushing yards, 37 yards receiving and 12 yards passing in his first five games before suffering a concussion on Oct. 10 and missing two games. The 31-year-old played only 17 offensive snaps last week, attempting two passes and seeing only one carry, but he could be more involved another week removed from his concussion. There's a chance that Hill will get his shot as the starter if Siemian falters, but until that happens, fantasy managers just can't rely on him with a limited number of plays each game.

  • QB Controversy For Saints Between Trevor Siemian, Taysom Hill?

Even though the New Orleans Saints offense struggled for pretty much the entire first half in the Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, head coach Sean Payton said there was never a thought about going from quarterback Trevor Siemian to Taysom Hill before or after Siemian lost a crucial fumble. However, Siemian got the start against the Falcons because Hill was still getting over his concussion during practices last week. But Hill also didn't really quiet any doubters when he took over for an injured Drew Brees last year, and he failed to win the competition with Jameis Winston in training camp. It's notable that after two games, Payton has done nothing but praise Siemian. It remains to be seen who the Saints will choose to go with under center in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans. Siemian is a better pocket passer, but Hill gives the Saints more upside with his legs.

  • Taysom Hill Will Play Against Falcons

The New Orleans Saints named quarterback Trevor Siemian as their starter for the Week 9 contest against the division-rival Atlanta Falcons, but head coach Sean Payton said that Taysom Hill (concussion) will also play in the game. Hill missed the team's last two games but has cleared the concussion protocol and will be active this weekend after Jameis Winston (knee) suffered a season-ending torn ACL in the Week 8 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hill had three rushing touchdowns while Winston was the starter, so he's likely to be used mainly in the red zone and near the goal line. Despite Siemian starting this week, Hill is still a good stash based on the fact that there's a good chance that he'll eventually take over for Siemian sooner than later.

  • Taysom Hill Limited At Wednesday's Practice

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (concussion) was a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Hill suffered a concussion in Week 5 and has missed the team's last two games, but he's on track to return in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons and figures to take over under center after Jameis Winston (knee) suffered a season-ending torn ACL in the Week 8 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There's a chance that the Saints could go with Trevor Siemian, who looked good in relief of Winston last Sunday, if they feel that Hill isn't ready to be thrown into the fire. But Hill has more fantasy appeal as a QB2 in superflex leagues, mainly for his rushing prowess, and the team is expected to lean even more on superstar running back Alvin Kamara.

  • Taysom Hill Progressing Well From Concussion

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said that quarterback Taysom Hill (concussion) is "progressing well" and is "on schedule" to be available for a Week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Hill suffered a concussion in Week 5 and has missed the team's last two games. It's good timing after starter Jameis Winston (knee) suffered a season-ending torn ACL in the Week 8 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hill will need to officially clear the league's concussion protocol this week to have a chance at playing this Sunday, but as long as he's cleared, he's likely to start over Trevor Siemian against Atlanta. The 31-year-old is mostly a rushing threat, but he would be in play as a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues if he's named the starter in Week 9.

  • Taysom Hill Expected To Be Cleared For Next Week

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (concussion) is expected to be cleared from the league's concussion protocol in time for the team's Week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons, according to NBC Sports' Mike Florio. It's a significant development after Jameis Winston (knee) suffered a potential season-ending ACL tear in the Week 8 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Trevor Siemian took over for Winston and led the team to the win, but Hill could be the primary signal-caller moving forward if Winston is indeed done for the season. Hill has missed the last two games and only has 16 carries for 77 yards in five games this season, but he's also found the end zone three times and would be an option as a QB2 in superflex leagues if he gets the start against the Falcons next week.

  • Taysom Hill Will Miss Another Game

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (concussion) missed all week of practice and has been ruled out for the second straight game in Week 8 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hill does have three touchdowns this year, but he's been well off the fantasy radar as the backup QB and occasional goal-line weapon with only 16 carries for 77 yards in five games played. The Saints reunited with running back Mark Ingram II this week, and he could take over some of Hill's goal-line touches behind Alvin Kamara immediately. Ingram and New Orleans have plenty of history together, but fantasy managers should temper expectations for the touchdown-dependent running back in this low-ceiling Saints offense.

  • Taysom Hill Absent From Practice Again

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (concussion) was absent from practice again on Thursday. Though Hill has no immediate fantasy value, if he were healthy, perhaps he would have an opportunity to relieve Jameis Winston of his starting quarterback duties. When Drew Brees was injured in 2020, although Winston was on the roster, Hill was the starting quarterback and placed as the QB13 in Weeks 10-13. This season, Winston has been the starter but has disappointed as the Saints are second to last in passing yards per game. Due to his injury, fantasy most managers shouldn't consider rostering Hill, but once he begins practicing again, he is worthy of a roster spot in Superflex leagues.

  • Taysom Hill, Deonte Harris Miss Practice Wednesday

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (concussion) and wide receiver Deonte Harris (hamstring) both missed practice on Wednesday. Hill and Harris both missed the Monday night win over the Seattle Seahawks, and Hill has remained in the league's concussion protocol since suffering his head injury in Week 5. It's possible that the Saints traded for running back Mark Ingram II, who can handle short-yardage and goal-line situations, with Hill's injury in mind. Harris has also been out since Week 5 and doesn't look any closer to returning in Week 8 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Marquez Callaway continued to serve as the Saints top pass-catcher last week, but he had just three receptions on seven targets for 32 yards. In this low-volume passing attack, there's not much upside for Callaway on a weekly basis.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill (concussion) and wide receiver Deonte Harris (hamstring) have been ruled out for the Monday night game in Week 7 against the Seattle Seahawks. With Hill and Harris out, it will mean more red-zone opportunities for the likes of running back Alvin Kamara, wide receiver Marquez Callaway and tight end Juwan Johnson against Seattle. Hill has operated as the backup to Jameis Winston this year, but he's been a successful goal-line weapon for New Orleans with three rushing touchdowns on only 16 attempts through five games. Callaway will be the team's top receiving threat, while Kenny Stills should also have an expanded role in the passing attack with Harris sidelined after getting injured before the Week 6 bye.
