  • Don't Look To The Bears Defense For Help In Week 7

The Bears defense hasn't been reliable this season. The unit is one of the lowest-rostered fantasy options, and there's a good reason. While Chicago has held its opponents to a respectable 19.7 points per game in 2022-23, the Bears have only 11 sacks and five interceptions. Even less promising, the defense has surrendered 163 rushing yards per game, which isn't ideal with Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson on tap for the Monday Night Football showdown versus the Patriots.

  • Bears Defense Should Produce In Week 4

The Chicago Bears defense had a strong start to the season in a rain-soaked Week 1 but has failed to finish as a top-12 fantasy DST for the past two weeks. Chicago will have a good opportunity to rebound defensively in Week 4 against the New York Giants. Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is always a candidate to commit a few turnovers and with multiple receiving threats inactive, New York's offense could struggle to move the ball. There are far more consistent options in the fantasy DST landscape, but the Bears are a decent play this week for those streaming the position.

  • Chicago Bears Defense - Week 2 Outlook For Fantasy Football

The Chicago Bears defense/special teams finished as a top-12 fantasy option in Week 1 and will take on the Green Bay Packers on the road in Week 2. It is no surprise that Chicago was able to force two turnovers last week given the rain-soaked condition of Soldier Field. Unfortunately, the forecast for this Sunday night matchup is cloudy with a good chance of Aaron Rodgers dominance. In his last four meetings with Chicago, Rodgers has not scored less than three total touchdowns. He struggled in Week 1, but may have Allen Lazard (ankle) back for the Packers' home opener. The Bears DST should be avoided this week but could be a solid play in Week 3 against the Houston Texans.
