Cowboys Defense Struggles In Week 13
The Dallas Cowboys defense struggled in a Week 13 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football. They ultimately did just enough to win the game by a 41-35 score, but recorded just one sack and one interception while allowing the 35 points. In standard scoring defense leagues, that's a fantasy score of negative three. The Cowboys defense came into the game with a fairly high rank, but the Seahawks were able to move the ball very well and gave the Cowboys a challenge throughout the night. A matchup against the Eagles awaits, which should be another tough matchup for Dallas.

Cowboys Defense On Track For Another Excellent Game In Week 13
The Dallas Cowboys defense has been one of the top fantasy defenses this season and Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks should give them another chance to shine on Thursday Night Football. The Cowboys DST has been a top-10 fantasy option in four of the past five weeks, and a top-three option for two weeks in a row. The Seahawks offense is a bit more formidable than the two the Cowboys have faced in the past two weeks, but they're certainly not scaring off any fantasy teams opposing them. Start the Cowboys with confidence as a top-half DST1 this week.

Cowboys Defense Has A Strong Game On Thanksgiving
The Dallas Cowboys defense played well again on Thanksgiving, leading to a 45-10 Week 12 win over the Washington Commanders. The Cowboys allowed just the 10 points while also recording an interception, four sacks, and a touchdown. The touchdown came near the end of the fourth quarter on another DaRon Bland 63-yard interception return, setting a new NFL record with five pick-sixes on the year with six games still to go. It was a 14-point fantasy performance in standard scoring leagues, which is almost sure to be another top-10 finish for one of the best fantasy defenses this season. They'll face the Seahawks in Week 13 for another Thursday game.

Cowboys Defense Looks Like A Top Option In Week 12
The Dallas Cowboys defense looks like one of the top fantasy options in a Week 12 game against the Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving. The Cowboys have been a little inconsistent on defense this season, but have had six top-10 finishes in fantasy scoring. They are coming off a strong Week 11 game in which they put up 21 fantasy points with an overall DST3 week, recording seven sacks, two turnovers, and a touchdown against the Panthers. The Commanders offense is a slightly tougher challenge, but certainly nothing Dallas shouldn't be able to handle. They're an easy top-five defense this week and should be started with confidence.

Cowboys Defense An Excellent Play In Week 11
The Dallas Cowboys defense is an excellent fantasy play in a Week 11 game against the Carolina Panthers. The Cowboys defense put up an overall DST8 performance in Week 10 against the Giants, recording five sacks and an interception in a dominant performance slightly altered by some late scores. The Panthers offense is anything but imposing, leaving this Cowboys defense as one of the top fantasy options for the week. They've had some strong performances and some duds this season, but this one is about as safe a bet to be a boom as any. Start them with confidence in any format with a DEF or DST lineup spot.

Cowboys Defense Looks To Get Right In Week 10
The Dallas Cowboys defense has been a boom-or-bust option this season, but are looking for a boom week against the New York Giants in Week 10. The Cowboys defense has finished either in the top three of fantasy defenses or outside of the top 20 each week with nothing in between. Week 10 sees them take on the Giants without starting quarterback Daniel Jones (knee), making for one of the best matchups of the week. The Cowboys defense is one of the safer bets this week, with some upside to go along with it. They can be started with confidence.

Cowboys Defense Looks To Stay On Track In Week 9
The Dallas Cowboys defense will look to stay on track in a Week 9 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys defensive unit got off to an outstanding start this season, finishing as a top-three fantasy defense three times in the first four weeks. They slumped quite a bit after that though, ending up as the DST26 two weeks in a row before going on their bye week. They came back with an excellent performance in Week 8 though, ranking as the DST2 against the Rams. Week 9 will be a tougher challenge against the Eagles in what's expected to be a high-scoring game, but the Cowboys still have plenty of upside and rank as a top-12 defensive option this week.

Cowboys Defense Looks To Regroup After The Bye Week
The Dallas Cowboys defense will look to regroup after their bye week, coming out with a Week 8 game against the Los Angeles Rams. The Cowboys defense has had three top-three fantasy finishes this season, but has also finished as the DST26 three separate times, all in their last four games. It's not a great matchup against a Rams team that has been playing well offensively, but the Cowboys have shown that they clearly have the talent to shut down an offense. There is a lot of variance here, but their upside puts them firmly in the top-10 DST ranking for Week 8.

Cowboys Defense Looks To Break Mercurial Streak In Week 6
The Dallas Cowboys defense has had an up-and-down last few weeks after an excellent start to the season and will look to get back on top in a Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Cowboys have three top-three finishes and two bottom-six finishes as a fantasy defense this season. Coming off a DST26 performance where they were absolutely slashed by the 49ers, the Chargers pose a real threat as well. In what should be a high-scoring game thanks to a porous Chargers defense, the Cowboys unit seems like a boom-or-bust play in Week 6.

Cowboys Defense Looking For Another Top-Five Performance
The Dallas Cowboys defense has been one of the best defensive units in both the NFL and fantasy football so far this season. They have finished as a top three fantasy defense in all but one game this season (DST1 in Week 1, DST3 in Week 2, DST2 in Week 4). While they did have a rough performance in Week 3 where they finished with just one fantasy point as the DST28, that certainly seems like an outlier at this point. Facing off against the San Francisco 49ers in what should be a defensive battle on both sides, the Cowboys once again have top-five upside and have likely already had their worst defensive game for the season.

Cowboys Defense Looks To Bounce Back In Week 4
The Dallas Cowboys defense was outstanding in Week 1 and 2 this season, finishing as the overall DST1 in Week 1 and DST3 in Week 2. Week 3 was a totally different story though, as they faced the Arizona Cardinals and ended up as the DST28, scoring just one fantasy point in standard leagues after combining for 52 in the first two weeks. Week 4 could be a bounce back game though, as the Cowboys face the New England Patriots and their limited offense in what could be a defensive battle on both sides. Given the matchup along with what they showed in the first two weeks of the season, the Cowboys are in the top-five of fantasy defenses for this week.

Cowboys Defense Remains An Excellent Fantasy Option In Week 3
The Dallas Cowboys defense should have another excellent game in a Week 3 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cowboys defense has finished as the overall DST1 and DST3 in the two games this season, and there's no reason to believe another top-three finish won't be in place against Joshua Dobbs and the Cardinals offense. The Cowboys have already put up 52 fantasy points on defense, 42 more than the 10 points they've allowed on the field. They're the top DST for Week 3.

Cowboys Defense Has Another Excellent Game In Week 2
The Dallas Cowboys defense was excellent again in a Week 2 win over the New York Jets. They finally allowed points, coughing up 10 this week after shutting out the Giants in Week 1. In Week 2, they intercepted three passes, recovered a fumble, and sacked the quarterback three times. It was another fantastic week for the Cowboys on defense, and their defensive unit is starting to look like the clear top option in fantasy leagues. They've scored 51 fantasy points in standard scoring leagues through just two weeks. They'll be the top option again in Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Cowboys Defense Locked In As The Top Option In Week 2
The Dallas Cowboys defense is locked in as the top fantasy option at the position in Week 2. Coming off an extremely impressive 40-0 victory in which the Cowboys recorded seven sacks, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery, they'll now face the offensively compromised New York Jets led by quarterback Zach Wilson. This could be another game dominated by the Cowboys defense, and while we can't count on a shutout each week, we can safely predict a disruptive force up front and strong containment in the secondary. They're the top DST in Week 2 and will be a top-five option most weeks.

Cowboys Defense Has An Amazing Week 1
The Dallas Cowboys defense was incredible in a Week 1 40-0 shutout win over the New York Giants. The Cowboys did not allow a single point while recording seven sacks, two interceptions, a fumble recovery, and two touchdowns. In standard scoring leagues, that was all good for a 35-point fantasy performance. Realistically, this may be the highest scoring fantasy week for the Cowboys defense, but they've left no doubt that they'll be a top-5 fantasy unit throughout the season.

Jalin Hyatt Hopes To Get Past Cowboys Defense On Sunday Night
New York Giants rookie wide receiver Jalin Hyatt isn't projected to see many targets in his NFL debut on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys. There is a strong chance, however, that Brian Daboll and Mike Kafka scheme a few plays for the reigning Biletnikoff winner. He'll look to show off his speed (he was clocked at over 24 miles per hour during training camp) on touch passes or deep throws. The rookie is a fringe roster player for standard-sized fantasy leagues, but he should garner more playing time as the season progresses.

Cowboys Defense Could Get Off To A Good Start In Week 1
The Dallas Cowboys defense could get the season off to a good start in a Week 1 game against the New York Giants. The Cowboys come into the season with a highly rated defensive unit that ended last season as the second best fantasy defense just one season after finishing first. They remain an elite defensive option, and Week 1 against the Giants very likely won't do anything to change that.
