Steelers D/ST A Must-Start In Week 12
The Pittsburgh Steelers recorded one sack and an interception while surrendering 13 points in a loss to the Cleveland Browns last week. Pittsburgh's defense could be in line for a much better showing in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals. With the Bengals losing star quarterback Joe Burrow (wrist) for the remainder of the season in Week 11, 27-year-old Jake Browning will take the field on Sunday for his first career start. Additionally, wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) will miss a third consecutive contest. The Steelers D/ST offers plenty of upside for fantasy purposes and should be started in what projects to be a low-scoring divisional showdown.

Steelers D/ST A Top Option Against Browns
The Pittsburgh Steelers recorded two interceptions and a sack while surrendering 19 points to the Green Bay Packers in a Week 10 victory. Pittsburgh will look for its defense to lead the way in a Week 11 divisional showdown with the Cleveland Browns. Rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson will be taking on QB1 duties for Cleveland on Sunday with Deshaun Watson (shoulder) out for the remainder of the season. In his first career start in Week 4, Thompson-Robinson completed 19 of 36 passes for 121 scoreless yards and three interceptions. The Steelers' defense, which is averaging three sacks and two takeaways per contest, is sure to pose a challenge for the 24-year-old signal-caller in what projects to be a low-scoring affair. Fantasy managers should have total confidence deploying the Steelers D/ST in starting lineups.

Steelers D/ST An Elite Option In Week 10
The Pittsburgh Steelers surrendered 16 points while recording four sacks and an interception in a Week 9 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The team will have another home matchup in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers. Packers quarterback Jordan Love has thrown eight interceptions in his eight starts this season and could struggle with Pittsburgh's defense averaging the second-most takeaways per contest in the NFL. The Steelers D/ST has proven to be a reliable source of fantasy production and should be started with confidence against a Packers offense scoring just 20 points per game.

Steelers D/ST Should Be Started Against Titans

The Pittsburgh Steelers surrendered 20 points to the Jacksonville Jaguars while recording three sacks, two fumble recoveries, and an interception in the Week 8 loss. The team's next challenge will come on Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans. Over the course of the season, the Titans' offense has not been particularly threatening, but Tennessee looked revitalized with Will Levis under center last week. Nonetheless, the Steelers D/ST should remain locked into fantasy lineups, even without safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (hamstring). Pittsburgh is averaging the second-most takeaways and seventh-most sacks per game and could make things difficult for a rookie quarterback in his first start on the road.

Steelers D/ST Draws Tough Matchup In Week 8
The Pittsburgh Steelers surrendered 17 points to the Los Angeles Rams while recording two sacks and one interception in a Week 7 victory. Pittsburgh's defense will now be looking to shut down the red-hot Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The Jaguars have scored over 30 points in back-to-back games but are sure to be tested in front of the Steelers' home crowd. The Steelers D/ST has displayed tremendous upside as a fantasy option this season and can be started this week.

Steelers D/ST A Solid Option In Week 7
The Pittsburgh Steelers' defense stepped up against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5, recording four sacks, two fumble recoveries, and an interception while surrendering just 10 points. The team will now return from a bye to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7. Although the Rams have scored at a moderately high rate this season, Pittsburgh is averaging the second-most takeaways and sixth-most sacks per contest. Thus, the Steelers D/ST has plenty of upside as a fantasy option on Sunday.

Steelers D/ST Worth Starting In Week 3
The Pittsburgh Steelers defense was incredible for fantasy purposes in Week 2 and will get another solid matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3. It's still early in the season, but the Raiders are currently scoring the third-fewest points per game in the NFL. Additionally, Las Vegas is averaging two giveaways per contest. The Steelers D/ST is unlikely to score multiple touchdowns again this week, but it remains a solid fantasy option with a lot of upside.

Steelers Defense Leads The Way In Week 2 Victory
The Pittsburgh Steelers defense was dominant in a 26-22 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 2. Pittsburgh recorded six sacks, an interception, and two touchdowns while recovering all three of the fumbles it forced. The Steelers got off to a hot start when linebacker Alex Highsmith intercepted Deshaun Watson for a 30-yard touchdown on the first drive of the contest. Later, Highsmith forced a fumble that five-time Pro-Bowler T.J. Watt recovered and returned for a score that would eventually prove to be the game-winner. Pittsburgh's defense bounced back in a big way after surrendering 30 points to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1. Fantasy managers should continue to have confidence in the Steelers D/ST, especially in a Week 3 bout with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Steelers D/ST Can Be Trusted In Divisional Matchup
The Pittsburgh Steelers surrendered 30 points to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1 but did manage to record three sacks, three forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. The team will now hope to slow down the Cleveland Browns, who just scored 24 points on the Cincinnati Bengals. Fortunately, Monday night's contest has one of the lowest projected point totals of the week, so fantasy managers should feel comfortable starting the Steelers D/ST at home.

Steelers Defense Allows 30 Points In Loss To 49ers
The Pittsburgh Steelers recorded three sacks and a fumble recovery but surrendered 30 points in a Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Pittsburgh's offense didn't offer much assistance in keeping its defense off the field as San Francisco commanded the time of possession battle. Former Defensive Player of the Year T.J. Watt was as dominant as ever, but his efforts weren't enough to slow down the high-powered 49ers offense. Fantasy managers should feel more confident deploying the Steelers DST in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns.
