  • Patriots Defense A Top-5 Option Against The Bears

  • Patriots Defense A Solid Option In Week 5

The New England Patriots defense/special teams allow 24.5 points and 346.8 total yards per game in 2022. New England is giving up the ninth most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and will look to contain Jared Goff and the Lions' offense in Week 5. Sunday's game between the Patriots and Detroit has an over/under of 42.5. The Lions will be without running back D'Andre Swift (shoulder), wide receiver DJ Chark (ankle), who were both ruled out on Friday, and potentially wide receiver Amon St. Brown (ankle), who is questionable for Sunday's game. Goff has shown struggles on the road, and with the Lions missing some key offensive pieces, New England becomes a borderline streamer in Week 5.
