  • Colts Defense Not A Recommended Option In Week 11

The Indianapolis Colts defense has been up and down all year, as they currently rank as the No. 17 overall defensive unit in fantasy scoring. As a matchup-dependent option, they've only had one game allowing under 10 points (versus Denver in Week 5). The Colts face one of the NFL's best offenses this year in the Philadelphia Eagles, and they will likely struggle to hold them from scoring. The sacks will be hard to come by as well, as quarterback Jalen Hurts is one of the best scrambling quarterbacks in the NFL. The Colts defense is a turnover-dependent option this week, making them avoidable for fantasy purposes.

  • A.J. Brown A Back-End WR1 Against Stiff Colts Defense

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (ankle) will go on the road to face the Indianapolis Colts Sunday. The 25-year-old picked up an ankle injury early in last Monday's game against the Washington Commanders but stated he would be good to go for Week 11's matchup against the Colts. The injury definitely affected Brown, leading to his worst fantasy performance of the season, in which he caught just one of four targets for seven yards. However, he still played 78% of the offensive snaps and could have an increase in total targets due to tight end Dallas Goedert (shoulder) being placed on Injured Reserve. The Colts are a stiff matchup, allowing the second-fewest fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position. Still, Brown has produced in tough matchups in the past and should be considered a back-end WR1 for Week 11.

  • Colts Defense Allows 20 Points In Week 10 Victory

The Indianapolis Colts defense allowed 20 points in their 25-20 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 10. They also added two sacks in this one. Though the Colts won the game, the defense allowed several big plays and allowed the Raiders to score 20 points. The Colts defense has the potential to have better days than this, but they will be more of a matchup-based option rather than an every-week start in fantasy. Next week against the Philadelphia Eagles' electric offense will be one to avoid for the Colts defense. They are best left on the waiver wire next week in 12-team leagues.

  • Colts Defense Has Mediocre Performance In Week 9

The Indianapolis Colts defense had a shaky performance in their 26-3 loss to the New England Patriots. They allowed 19 points to the New England offense and were unable to stop their run-heavy game plan for the majority of the contest. On the bright side, they did force a fumble and were able to sack quarterback Mac Jones four times. The Colts defense has been a volatile fantasy option and remains more of a matchup-based unit than a weekly one. Next week should be a better week for them as they take on the Las Vegas Raiders' shaky offense.
