  • Tyler Conklin Set For A Solid Game In Week 5

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin is set for a solid game in Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins. Conklin has scored at least seven fantasy points in every game so far this season. He's been among the team leaders in targets and catches in each game as well, serving as not just a security blanket but also a chain mover for both Joe Flacco and Zach Wilson. The Dolphins are a bottom third defense against opposing tight ends, so this should be another low-end TE1 week for Conklin. He might not have the ceiling of some of the other guys on the TE1 list, but he has one of the higher floors.

  • Tyler Conklin Makes Three Catches In Week 4 Win

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin made three catches in a Week 4 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was targeted five times and gained 52 yards on his three grabs. Conklin remained heavily involved in the passing game despite the switch from Joe Flacco to Zach Wilson at quarterback. Wilson only completed 18 passes though. With the Jets offense seemingly relying more on the running game now that Wilson is under center, Conklin may dip into the TE2 ranks, although he should retain a fairly high floor.

  • Tyler Conklin A Solid Choice In Week 4

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin is a solid choice in Week 4 fantasy lineups. Conklin has been very effective through the first three weeks, catching 18 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown. He's been among the team leaders in targets in each game as well. While the Jets offense could change some with Zach Wilson (knee) expected to start over Joe Flacco, Conklin should still be heavily involved and is always a red zone threat. He's right on the TE1/2 border and has a high floor in Week 4.

  • Tyler Conklin Should Have A Solid Week 3

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin should be a solid tight end option in Week 3 fantasy lineups. Conklin's upside is limited, but he likely has one of the highest tight end floors outside of the few in the top tier of the position. Conklin was second on the team in targets in Week 2 and has amassed 10 catches on 16 targets through the first two weeks of the season. His longest gain has been for 13 yards, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect huge yardage numbers from him, but he's a red zone target so he's a weekly touchdown threat. Conklin will be right on the TE1/2 border for Week 3.

  • Tyler Conklin Sees Nine Targets In Week 2

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin saw the second-most targets on the team in a Week 2 win with nine. He made six catches, gaining 40 yards. None of Conklin's catches were particularly big gains, as his longest catch was a 13-yarder. It was still encouraging to see him pick up the second-highest target share on the team, behind only rookie receiver Garrett Wilson's 14. Conklin doesn't have the speed to bust long gains, but he has sure hands and is a solid blocker, meaning he could end up as one of the more consistent short-yardage and red-zone options in a suddenly decent-looking Jets offense. He'll be a high-end TE2 streamer going forward.

  • Tyler Conklin An Underrated Week 2 Option

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin is an underrated TE2 option in a Week 2 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. He was targeted seven times in Week 1 and made four catches including the only Jets touchdown of the season so far. He's a decent pass catcher and a good enough blocker that he won't have to leave the field very often. In a position as top-heavy as tight end, Conklin could settle in somewhere at the lower end of TE1 production if the Jets keep throwing the ball as often as it seems like they'll have to. He's available in most leagues.

  • Tyler Conklin Scores A Touchdown In A Week 1 Loss

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin scored the only Jets touchdown in a Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Conklin was targeted seven times, making four catches for 14 yards and the one score. His touchdown was a three-yard score at the end of the fourth quarter, deep into garbage time. With plenty of garbage time and negative game script likely ahead for the Jets, Conklin could end up as a decent fantasy tight end in most formats this season.

  • Tyler Conklin Could Surprise In Week 1

New York Jets tight end Tyler Conklin could be one of the more surprising fantasy assets in Week 1. Conklin has gone undrafted in many leagues but is currently atop the tight end depth chart for the Jets. They also signed C.J. Uzomah and drafted Jeremy Ruckert, but it's been Conklin that has impressed the most in camp and preseason play. Also a good blocker, Conklin likely won't need to leave the field on offense very often, and could become a red zone target for Joe Flacco and eventually Zach Wilson. For Week 1, he's a TE2 with touchdown upside.

  • Tyler Conklin Has Been A Big Surprise On Offense

The New York Jets signed C.J. Uzomah and Tyler Conklin and drafted Jeremy Ruckert this offseason, but it's been Conklin who has emerged as the favorite target for both quarterbacks Zach Wilson and Joe Flacco in training camp. He's been one of the biggest surprises on offense, according to The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt. Conklin is athletic and sure-handed and is a good enough blocker that the Jets will have a hard time taking him off the field. The 27-year-old should be in for a solid season after posting career-highs in catches (61), receiving yards (593) and touchdowns (three) in 17 games in his final season with the Minnesota Vikings in 2021. Conklin is one to watch, but Uzomah's presence will probably cause him to go undrafted in most fantasy leagues to begin the season.

  • Tyler Conklin Impressing Robert Saleh

The New York Jets signed free-agent tight end Tyler Conklin to a three-year, $21 million deal this offseason. This coincided with a three-year, $24 million deal for fellow tight end C.J. Uzomah, creating some ambiguity at the position. While it's still early, it seems Conklin is leading the way. Head coach Robert Saleh said, "Conk is awesome. He's been fantastic for us." He further highlighted his three-down skill set, finishing by saying "he's been a pleasant surprise." While it's unknown at this point just how a big of a leap this offense will take, the lead tight end would slot in behind sophomore receiver Elijah Moore and rookie Garrett Wilson as the third option, providing sufficient production to be a weekly streamer with upside.
