Braxton Berrios Cleared To Play In Week 12

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios (hamstring) was a full participant in practice this week and has been removed from the injury report heading into Friday's game against the New York Jets. He will play in Week 12. Berrios hasn't been active since Week 9 when he logged 27 percent of snaps and finished without a catch. The 28-year-old has 20 receptions for 194 yards and one touchdown through nine games this season, keeping him off the fantasy radar for the time being.

Braxton Berrios, Durham Smythe Inactive For Week 11

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios (hamstring) and tight end Durham Smythe (ankle) are officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Both players were listed as questionable after practicing in a limited capacity on Friday. Berrios will miss his first game of the season after totaling 20 catches for 194 yards and one touchdown through the first nine weeks. Meanwhile, Smythe flashed upside at the start of the season but has come back down to earth, amassing just 168 yards and zero touchdowns on the year. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle remain the only Miami pass-catchers worth starting in fantasy football.

Braxton Berrios Listed As Questionable For Week 11

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 11 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Berrios opened up the week with a DNP but logged limited practice sessions on both Thursday and Friday, which puts him in line to play this Sunday, barring a setback. Berrios has been valuable in the kick and punt return game but hasn't done enough offensively to warrant fantasy consideration. For the year, he's hauled in 20-of-25 targets for 194 yards and a score.

Braxton Berrios Returns To Practice, Chase Claypool Still Out

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios (hamstring) was limited in practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. Meanwhile, receiver Chase Claypool (knee) missed practice for the second straight day. It's not a good sign for Claypool, especially coming off a bye week. Berrios has played in all nine games this year but has only 20 catches for 194 yards and one touchdown as depth behind Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Cedrick Wilson Jr. Claypool came over in a midseason trade from the Chicago Bears and has just one catch for 15 yards in his three games for Miami. Both Berrios and Claypool should stay on your league's waiver wire.

Chase Claypool, Braxton Berrios Miss Wednesday's Practice

Miami Dolphins wide receivers Chase Claypool (knee) and Braxton Berrios (hamstring) did not set foot on the practice field on Wednesday. It's not a great sign for either receiver, especially coming off the team's Week 10 bye. As long as Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle remain healthy, Claypool and Berrios don't really have any intrigue in fantasy leagues. Claypool has only played three games with the Dolphins and has just one reception on two targets for 15 yards. Meanwhile, Berrios has 20 receptions for 194 yards and a touchdown in nine games played.

Durham Smythe, Braxton Berrios Suiting Up Versus Chiefs

Miami Dolphins tight end Durham Smythe (ankle) and wide receiver Braxton Berrios (hamstring) are active for Week 9 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. They had both been listed as questionable heading into the weekend. Given that Miami's offense runs through Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Raheem Mostert, having Smythe and Berrios healthy won't necessarily be a deciding factor in this overseas game. However, there's no denying that the Dolphins will appreciate having all hands on deck versus a very strong Kansas City defense.

Braxton Berrios Questionable To Face Chiefs

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios (hamstring) is questionable to play in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs in Germany on Sunday after he popped up on the injury report on Thursday. The good news is that Berrios was limited on Thursday and Friday, so he at least has a chance to suit up this weekend. If he is unable to play in Week 9, it will give Cedrick Wilson Jr. and Chase Claypool some more opportunities behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, especially if tight end Durham Smyth (ankle), who is also questionable, doesn't play. The 28-year-old Berrios hasn't really been on the fantasy radar in standard-sized leagues in 2023 with just 20 catches for 194 yards and a touchdown on 25 targets through the first eight weeks of action.

Braxton Berrios Downgraded On Thursday

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios (hamstring) was downgraded to a limited practice on Thursday after he was a full participant to begin the week on Wednesday. Mid-week downgrades on the injury report usually aren't good news for players, but if Berrios returns to a full practice on Friday, he should be good to go for the Week 9 meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday in Germany. If the 28-year-old wideout is unable to play this weekend or is limited at all, it would open the door for either Cedrick Wilson Jr. or Chase Claypool to have a bigger role as the No. 3 behind starters Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Berrios has only 20 receptions (25 targets) for 194 yards and one touchdown in eight games in his first year in Miami.

Braxton Berrios Gets In Full Practice Session

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios (knee) was a full participant during Thursday's practice session. This is an upgrade after Berrios was limited during Wednesday's practice. Right now, it sounds like Berrios is on pace to suit up for the Week 6 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. This season, Berrios has hauled in 15 of his 18 targets for 159 yards and a touchdown. He's currently a distant third option behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in this offense.

Braxton Berrios Starts Week With Limited Practice

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's team practice. Like last week, Berrios started with a limited practice on Wednesday. But he eventually practiced in full the next two days and was cleared to play with no injury designation this past Sunday. It appears the 28-year-old wideout is on the same trajectory heading into a Week 6 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. He has 15 catches for 159 yards and one touchdown this season and should only be started in extremely deep leagues this weekend.

Braxton Berrios Gets In Another Full Practice Friday

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios (knee) logged his second consecutive full practice on Friday and no longer has an injury designation for Sunday's meeting with the Giants. The 28-year-old has gained popularity from those exploring the waiver wire after amassing six catches for 43 yards and a touchdown in the loss to Buffalo in Week 4. But he began the week with a limited practice session, although it appears he's good to go. At any rate, everyone knows Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are Miami's top receiving options. However, Berrios can deployed as a flex option for fantasy managers in deeper formats.

Braxton Berrios Upgrades To Full Practice

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios (knee) was upgraded to a full practice on Thursday after he was limited in Wednesday's session. Berrios is now on track to play in Week 5 against the New York Giants on Sunday, barring a setback in practice on Friday. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are Miami's unquestioned top two receivers, but Berrios has had a decent role in this explosive offense through the first four weeks. It makes him worth a bench stash in deeper fantasy leagues, especially coming off his six-catch, 43-yard, one-touchdown performance in last week's loss to the Buffalo Bills. The 27-year-old has caught 13 of his 16 targets for 146 yards and the one touchdown so far in 2023.

Braxton Berrios Limited In Wednesday's Practice

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios (knee) was a limited participant in the team's practice on Wednesday. Berrios has split WR3 reps with Robbie Chosen and Cedrick Wilson Jr. this season. But he was the most efficient wideout of the bunch in the Dolphins' 48-20 blowout loss in Week 5. The 27-year-old caught six passes for 43 yards and one touchdown in the game. It's a good sign that Berrios practiced in some capacity on Wednesday, and he should be on track to suit up this week. He should only be started, though, in extremely deep leagues.

Braxton Berrios Logs Three Catches In Dolphins Debut

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios hauled in three of his five targets for 42 receiving yards against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon. The versatile, athletic receiver is capable of making plays happen, but he isn't currently on the fantasy radar. Look elsewhere if you need to bolster the wide receiver position in your lineups.

Offseason In Review: Miami Dolphins

Following a busy offseason in 2022, the Dolphins didn’t take nearly as many swings in 2023. It’s hard to blame them. The front office didn’t have to make up for any mistakes from last spring, as the team’s major acquisitions (receiver Tyreek Hill and offensive tackle Terron Armstead) both proved to be worth the investment.
