  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Quiet Against Rams

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was targeted just three times in Sunday's win over the Rams, catching all three passes for 38 yards. Smith-Schusterwho was returning from a concussionmade the best of his opportunities, but with Patrick Mahomes targeting 10 different players, there just weren't a lot of chances to go around. Smith-Schuster's still a WR3 with upside going forward, as the Chiefs offense should produce better most weeks than it did on Sunday.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Expected To Face Rams

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion protocol) is expected to play against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12. Smith-Schuster missed the game last week against the Los Angeles Chargers with a concussion but appears to be ready to go. The Rams have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to wide receivers thus far, and since Kadarius Toney (hamstring) likely won't play and Mecole Hardman (abdomen) is on Injured Reserve, Smith-Schuster's upside is sky-high in his return. He and Travis Kelce should be Patrick Mahomes' clear No. 1 and No. 2 targets moving forward.

  • Juju Smith-Schuster Practices Wednesday, Kadarius Toney Absent

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, while teammate Kadarius Toney (hamstring) missed Wednesday's session. Smith-Schuster missed the Week 11 win over the Chargers and will look to clear the concussion protocol within the next few days. The 26-year-old caught 46 passes for 615 yards and two touchdowns over nine games in 2022. Toney exited last Sunday's win over the Chargers early with a hamstring injury. The 23-year-old will have two more chances to practice ahead of Sunday's contest against the Rams. Toney is considered day-to-day.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Ruled Out Against Chargers

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) has been ruled out for the Sunday Night Football contest against the Los Angeles Chargers. Smith-Schuster began to hit his stride in Weeks six through nine, racking up at least 88 receiving yards in all three games. However, he was knocked out of the game against the Jaguars and placed in concussion protocol and evidently hasn't recovered in time to play on Sunday night. Mecole Hardman (abdomen) has been placed on Injured Reserve, so expect Kadarius Toney and Marquez Valdes-Scantling to get the most targets lined up next to Travis Kelce.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman To Miss Practice

Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) and Mecole Hardman (abdomen) will miss another practice on Thursday. Both players have a shot to practice on Friday, but right now they are looking very iffy for Sunday night's game against the Los Angeles Chargers. And with the game coming late Sunday night, both wideouts will be shaky starting fantasy options if they are game-time decisions. Marquez Valdes-Scantling (illness) was back at practice on Thursday, and he could be KC's No. 1 receiver in a potential shootout if both Smith-Schuster and Hardman are unable to play. Receivers Kadarius Toney, Justin Watson and rookie Skyy Moore would all have elevated roles as well. Check back on Friday for Smith-Schuster's and Hardman's official statuses.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling Miss Practice

Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (illness) both missed practice on Wednesday. Mecole Hardman (abdomen) also missed practice, so KC's top wideouts are all questionable heading into a Sunday night showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11. It remains to be seen who will be available this weekend, but Kadarius Toney, Justin Watson and rookie Skyy Moore could all have elevated roles. Smith-Schuster, MVS and Hardman still have two days to get back on the practice field. With Hardman sidelined in the Week 10 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Valdes-Scantling finished second in receiving yards (60) and found the end zone. Toney also caught four passes for 57 yards and his first TD with the team.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Enters Concussion Protocol, Won't Return

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has entered the concussion protocol after taking a scary hit from Jacksonville Jaguars safety Andre Cisco. Smith-Schuster immediately went to the ground and required attention from the training staff. Teammates huddled around as he was tended to. Per NFL rules, since Smith-Schuster entered concussion protocol, he will not be able to return in Week 10. The 25-year-old finishes the day with two catches for 33 yards. Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Kadarius Toney will headline the Chiefs' wide receiver corps for the remainder of the contest.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Looks To Continue Strong Play

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster had some middling games earlier in the season, but he's been on a roll lately, including posting a season-high 10 receptions last week against the Titans. It hasn't always been clear what the pecking order in KC has been this year, but the last three games have established Smith-Schuster as the clear No. 1 wide receiver on the team. Consider Smith-Schuster to be a strong fantasy WR2 option this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Has Another Strong Showing

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster continues to separate himself from the rest of the team's wide receivers. Sunday night against the Titans, Smith-Schuster was targeted 12 times, second on the team behind tight end Travis Kelce. He caught 10 of them for 88 yards. The 10 receptions were a season-high for Smith-Schuster, as were the 12 targets. He's now posted double-digit fantasy points in three consecutive games and should be considered a fantasy WR2 going forward.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Looks To Continue Strong Run

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster had some mediocre showings earlier in the season, but he hit his stride before the bye, with five catches for 113 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 and then seven for 124 and a score in Week 7. It looks like Smith-Schuster is the big-play receiver for Kansas City now, which makes him a high-ceiling WR2 now. The only concern is how the addition of former Giant Kadarius Toney might impact the usage, but Toney shouldn't pose a threat to Smith-Schuster.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Is WR3 Play For Week 7

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is coming off his best game as a Chief in Week 6 against the Bills, catching his first touchdown of the season and finishing with 113 yards. It will be tough for Smith-Schuster to repeat that against the 49ers this week though, as they've boasted one of the NFL's best passing defenses this season. Smith-Schuster appears locked in as the No. 1 wide receiver on this Chiefs team though, and with Patrick Mahomes at quarterback, you can never count out a big offensive day, even if the matchup is bad on paper. Consider Smith-Schuster a WR3 play this week, though his floor is fairly low because of who is on the other side of the field.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Has Best Game As Chief

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster finally found the end zone on Sunday, catching a 42-yard strike from quarterback Patrick Mahomes for his first score of the season. Overall, Smith-Schuster caught all five of his targets for 113 yards. Previously, Smith-Schuster's best yardage total of the year had been in Week 3, when he had 89 yards. Smith-Schuster's role has featured a lot of short receptions this year, but he finally stretched the field on Sunday and re-established himself as the team's No. 1 receiver. Consider Smith-Schuster to be a WR2/3 play with upside going forward.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Is Risky Week 6 Fantasy Option

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has been targeted exactly eight times in four of his team's five games this season, but he's yet to find the end zone this season. His lack of red zone usage makes him a risky play heading into Sunday's game against the Bills. While the Chiefs offense shouldn't be shut down by Buffalo, it's likely that KC has to depend on big plays in this one, and Smith-Schuster has largely been making the smaller plays, not the bigger ones in 2022. Consider him a decent WR3 play with risk this week in full PPR, and more of a WR4 in standard.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Does Little With Eight Targets

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster had a disappointing performance in the team's 30-29 win over the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football. Smith-Schuster caught just three of his eight targets on the night for 33 yards. It's possible that the 25-year-old was hindered by a hamstring issue that popped up during Saturday's practice. The good news is that he was tied with Marquez Valdes-Scantling and tight end Travis Kelce for the team lead in targets on the night. He has now seen exactly eight targets from quarterback Patrick Mahomes in four of his first five games with KC, but he'll need to start doing more with those targets to be a fantasy force. Smith-Schuster has yet to find the end zone and has 257 receiving yards on 22 receptions.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Active On Monday Night

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring, quadriceps) is officially active on Monday night against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. Smith-Schuster injured his hamstring in practice on Saturday, but there was never really much doubt that he would suit up in Week 5. The 25-year-old will continue to be one of quarterback Patrick Mahomes' top targets alongside tight end Travis Kelce, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Mecole Hardman. In his first four games with the Chiefs so far this year, Smith-Schuster has 19 receptions for 224 yards, but he has yet to find the end zone. His fantasy managers will be hoping that changes on Monday night against the visiting Raiders.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Expected To Play Monday Night

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring, quadriceps), who is listed as questionable to play on Monday night against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5, is expected to play, according to a source. Smith-Schuster suffered a hamstring injury on Saturday, leaving his availability in question for Monday's contest. However, he should be available to fantasy managers to close out Week 5 action. The 25-year-old has been the team's No. 2 receiver behind tight end Travis Kelce through the first four weeks of the season. Smith-Schuster has caught 19 of his 27 targets for 224 yards but has yet to find the end zone. He has exactly eight targets in three of his first four games in Kansas City.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Questionable For Monday Night Football

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (quad, hamstring) was limited in practice on Saturday. He is officially listed as questionable for Monday Night Football against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5. The 25-year-old practiced in full on Thursday and Friday but had his hamstring tighten up on Saturday, thus leading to his limited participation. If active, Smith-Schuster ranks as a WR3 ahead of a very favorable matchup. If he can't play, Mecole Hardman, Skyy Moore, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling would be in line for additional volume.

  • Juju Smith-Schuster Dealing With Hamstring Tightness

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday but had his hamstring tighten and was limited during Saturday's session. Head coach Andy Reid stated that he believes Smith-Schuster will suit up on Monday against the Las Vegas Raiders. Fantasy managers relying on Smith-Schuster may want to prepare a backup option for Monday Night Football just in case the 25-year-old experiences any setbacks. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore, and Mecole Hardman may all be available on waivers and would be in line for additional opportunities if Smith-Schuster is surprisingly ruled out.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Has Upside In Week 5

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has settled into his role as the No. 1 wide receiver on this Kansas City Chiefs team, with eight targets in three of his four games. He's yet to find the end zone, but Smith-Schuster seems like a high-floor play based on his current usage, as he's finished with at least five receptions in three games this year. The Raiders allow the 13th-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers. Consider Smith-Schuster to be a WR3 play with upside.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Sees Eight Targets In Week 4

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster had another solid game on Sunday against the Buccaneers, catching five of his eight targets for 46 yards. Smith-Schuster has been targeted eight times in three of the four games so far and while he hasn't had a 100-yard game or found the end zone yet, he's still a decent WR3 option in PPR leagues, with the upside to be more if he can start getting involved in the red zone.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster - Week 4 Outlook For Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is a WR3 play for Sunday night's contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Smith-Schuster has had two good showings since joining the Chiefs, but sandwiched in the middle was a 10-yard game against the Chargers. Tampa Bay allows fewer points per game than any team in the NFL, so Smith-Schuster's definitely a risky play this week, even if he looks like the No. 1 receiver for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Bounces Back In Week 3

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster struggled in Week 2, finishing with just 10 receiving yards. He bounced back on Sunday against the Colts though, as he led the Chiefs in receiving yards, pulling down five passes for 89 yards. His eight targets were tied for the team lead. Smith-Schuster has now had two solid games through the first three weeks, which suggests that Week 2 was a blip and that Smith-Schuster is a solid fantasy WR3 play.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster's Week 3 Outlook For Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is a risky fantasy play heading into Week 3's contest against the Colts because of his struggles last week. Against the Chargers, Smith-Schuster finished with three catches for just 10 yards. He's still worthy of flex consideration after he was targeted eight times in the opener, but Smith-Schuster appears like he's going to be a little more of a boom-or-bust play than expected.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Held In Check Thursday

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster had just 10 receiving yards in Thursday's 27-24 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Those 10 yards came via three receptions. Smith-Schuster was only targeted three times, which ranked fifth on the team. It was a worrisome performance for fantasy managers, who had been operating as if Smith-Schuster was the No. 1 receiver in Kansas City. Don't bail on the former Steeler, but the distribution of targets is worth monitoring going forward. Consider Smith-Schuster to be more of a WR3 play than the WR2 play that we expected he would be.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Week 2 Outlook For Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster saw a major role in the Chiefs offense in Week 1 and should continue to see that happen on Thursday night against the Chargers. Smith-Schuster was targeted eight times in the opener, catching six passes for 79 yards. While the rest of this receiving corps is confusing so far, Smith-Schuster seems to have locked down the No. 1 receiver role. This week, consider him a WR2 play against a Chargers team that let Davante Adams catch 10 passes last week.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Targeted Eight Times

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster appears to have the early lead for the No. 1 receiver role in KC based on Sunday's win over the Cardinals. He led the team's wideouts in targets with eight, hauling in six of them for 79 yards. The breakdown of how passes would be spread out in Kansas City was a popular discussion in the offseason, and it appears Smith-Schuster is going to be the answer. Consider him a fantasy WR2 play going forward/

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster - Week 1 Outlook For Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster should be viewed as the team's top wideout heading into Week 1. The former Steeler is entering his sixth season in the NFL and has been a strong player when on the field, though last year he appeared in just five games. The Cardinals have some solid pieces defensively, but the Chiefs offense should be able to attack this secondary. Smith-Schuster is risky since we don't know how this offense will shake out, but he's worth flex consideration because of his upside.

  • JuJu Smith-Schuster Says He's Fully Healed

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) said his knee is fully healed and he's 100 percent healthy heading into Week 1 of the regular season against the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday. Smith-Schuster was limited a bit in training camp and the preseason with knee soreness, but he's good to go now and will be a key weapon for quarterback Patrick Mahomes after the team traded All-Pro receiver Tyreek Hill to Miami in the offseason. The Chiefs are expected to spread things around on offense, though, so fantasy managers will be curious to see how much Smith-Schuster is involved this week in a game that could very well be high-scoring. The 25-year-old is a WR3/flex with upside in his first game for the Chiefs.
