  • Josh Reynolds Catches Touchdown Pass In Week 12

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds hauled in two of four targets for 15 yards and one touchdown during the team's loss to the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving Day. Reynolds was a steady fantasy option through the first five weeks of the season but has since quieted down, averaging just 1.87 catches over his last six contests. Despite finding the end zone on Thursday, Reynolds finds himself behind Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and Sam LaPorta on the pecking order of this passing attack going forward. He can be dropped to waivers in most redraft leagues.

  • Josh Reynolds Has Decreased Fantasy Value Heading Into Week 11

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds had a productive start to the 2023 campaign, racking up 291 yards and three touchdowns through his first four games. However, the veteran has not seen more than four targets or reached the end zone in any of his last four games. Ever since Jameson Williams has returned, Reynolds has failed to be a reliable fantasy option. That said, he's a shaky deep-league flex play in Week 11 against the Chicago Bears. He could be worth starting, depending on your available options, but his floor has been low over the last month.

  • Josh Reynolds A Dice-Roll Flex Option In Week 10

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds started off the 2023 campaign hot, scoring three touchdowns in his first five games. However, the veteran has cooled off in recent weeks, as he has seen just seven total targets over his last three contests. Even though Jameson Williams has failed to make a big impact for Detroit, his return from suspension has seemingly negatively affected Reynolds' fantasy outlook and upside. All that said, Reynolds is a decent deep league flex option in a Week 10 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers, who have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to wideouts this season.

  • Josh Reynolds' Role Continues To Shrink

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds was barely involved again in the 26-14 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football, catching his only target for a 13-yard gain. Reynolds played 83 percent of the offensive snaps, but it amounted to very little in terms of production, and he hasn't been targeted more than three times in a game since Week 5, when he caught four of five targets for 76 yards and a touchdown. In the last three games, Reynolds has just six receptions on seven targets for 106 yards and no scores. The 28-year-old is losing targets to second-year wideout Jameson Williams, even though Reynolds has been on the field way more often. Reynolds should bounce back at some point, but he has become a hard-to-trust WR4/5 in deeper fantasy leagues.

  • Josh Reynolds A Shaky Flex Options Against Raiders

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds started off the 2023 season hot, but he has cooled off in recent weeks. The veteran receiver has caught just five passes over the last two weeks, posting 93 yards and zero touchdowns. The Las Vegas Raiders have allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers, so Reynolds could be in for another down performance on Monday Night Football. With no teams on a bye, Reynolds has very little Week 8 fantasy value. Don't start him unless you have to.

  • Josh Reynolds A Low-End Flex Option In Week 7

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds has been productive to begin the 2023 season, catching 19 of his 27 targets for 341 yards and three scores. However, unlike his stud teammate Amon-Ra St. Brown, Reynolds is more matchup-dependent. This could mean he's due for a letdown against the Baltimore Ravens, who have surrendered the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to wideouts thus far. Baltimore hasn't faced a ton of star receivers, but Reynolds is a middle-tier receiver. All that said, the Lions offense is firing on all cylinders, and they might lean more on the passing game since David Montgomery (ribs), Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring), and Craig Reynolds (hamstring/toe) are all banged up. Consider Reynolds a low-end PPR league flex option in this spot.

  • Josh Reynolds Could Maintain Value In Week 6

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds has hauled in 16 passes for 291 yards and three touchdowns through his first five games of the 2023 season. He's off to a hot start and could continue to have value when Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) returns to action. St. Brown is trending toward playing against the Buccaneers in Week 6, but if he doesn't, Reynolds is a great flex option against a mid-level Tampa Bay secondary. Either way, the veteran wideout seems to be ahead of Jameson Williams and Kalif Raymond in the target pecking order, so he has flex appeal. It's worth noting Sam LaPorta did not practice on Thursday. Further information on his status will come out before game day.

  • Josh Reynolds Finds The End Zone In Week 5

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds had a team-high four catches for 76 yards during the victory over the Carolina Panthers. He also found the end zone off a one-yard pass from Jared Goff late in the second quarter. The Lions were without Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) and Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring), so targets were up for grabs. But truth be told, Reynolds has seen routine attention from Goff throughout the season. Even if St. Brown and Gibbs return in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Reynolds should be considered at least a flex option in all fantasy formats. However, Reynolds' ceiling will increase if those guys aren't available versus the Bucs.

  • Josh Reynolds, Jameson Williams Active For Week 5

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receivers Josh Reynolds (groin) and Jameson Williams (non-injury) are active for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. Both players had been listed as questionable. Reynolds, Williams, and Kalif Raymond should all see more opportunities in Amon St. Brown's (abdomen) absence, though Reynolds has the most fantasy appeal of the bunch. It's worth noting that Williams' role will be limited. He is expected to play roughly 20 snaps in his first game back from a four-week suspension.

The Lions will welcome back an offensive weapon this weekend, but they’re expected to go against the Panthers without their top wideout. • Jameson Williams, Josh Reynolds Questionable For Week 5

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams (non-injury) and Josh Reynolds (groin) are both listed as questionable for Week 5 versus the Carolina Panthers despite practicing in a full capacity. Williams is returning from a suspension, so while he's not injured, it appears the Lions aren't ready to remove him from the injury report until he shows that he can handle game speed. Reynolds, on the other hand, logged two limited practices before Friday's full participation. Both players are trending towards being active for Week 5 and could see significant volume with Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) listed as doubtful.

  • Josh Reynolds Remains Limited Thursday

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds (groin) was limited at Thursday's practice. The Lions continue to manage Reynolds' practice time due to a hamstring injury, but he appears to be on course to play in Week 5 at home versus the Carolina Panthers if he stays involved in Friday's session. The 28-year-old could still receive the questionable tag ahead of play, but fantasy managers will have to wait until Friday's injury report for that information. Reynolds has started three out of four games for Detroit this year, but he's at risk of losing playing time to 2022 first-rounder Jameson Williams, who is set to return from a suspension on Sunday. Reynolds is a low-end WR4 against a Panthers defense giving up the fifth-fewest points to the position this season.

  • Josh Reynolds Still Tending To Groin Issue

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds (groin) was a limited participant in the team's practice on Wednesday. Reynolds has been dealing with this groin issue for several weeks now but has managed to play in every game this season. The 28-year-old wideout will have two more chances to practice this week to determine his availability for Sunday. However, there's a good chance he will suit up against the Carolina Panthers in Week 5. Even with Jameson Williams back from his suspension, Reynolds should still be involved in some capacity on offense.

  • Josh Reynolds Leads Lions In Receiving Thursday

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

After not showing up in the box score at all in the Week 3 win over the Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds bounced back in the 34-20 win over the division-rival Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football. Reynolds caught three of his six targets for a team-high 69 yards, averaging a healthy 23 yards per reception. It's now the third time in four weeks in 2023 that the 28-year-old, who has excellent chemistry with quarterback Jared Goff, has seen six targets. At least until Jameson Williams returns from his suspension, Reynolds is the best bet to serve as Detroit's No. 2 behind Amon-Ra St. Brown. Through four games, he has 12 catches (19 targets) for 215 yards and two touchdowns.

  • Josh Reynolds A Week 4 Bounceback Candidate

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds had a productive first two games, catching nine passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns. He was questionable with a groin injury heading into the Week 3 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons but was ultimately active. Unfortunately, the veteran wideout did not see a target, despite playing 70% of the team's offensive snaps. While he is now a much riskier flex option after the zero-point fantasy day, he should bounce back as he gets further removed from the groin ailment. The Green Bay Packers are a tough matchup for wideouts (nine-fewest fantasy points allowed), but great offenses usually produce. Considering him a low-end flex candidate for Thursday's night game.

  • Josh Reynolds Will Play In Week 3

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds (groin), who had been listed as questionable, will be active for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The 28-year-old has played a key role in Detroit's passing attack this season, totaling nine catches, 146 yards, and two touchdowns through just two weeks of action. Fantasy managers in need of help at WR/FLEX should feel comfortable playing Reynolds, especially amidst speculation that teammate Amon-Ra St. Brown (toe) might not be 100 percent healthy.

  • Josh Reynolds Questionable To Play Against Falcons

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds (groin) is considered questionable to suit up this Sunday in a Week 3 contest against the visiting Atlanta Falcons. Despite the questionable tag, it would be surprising if Reynolds didn't play this weekend. He was limited in practice on both Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to a full practice on Friday. The 28-year-old was a popular waiver-wire pickup by fantasy managers this week after a strong start to his 2023 campaign. Through two weeks, Reynolds has put up nine catches on 13 targets for 146 yards and two touchdowns. At least until Jameson Williams returns from his suspension, he could continue to serve as the No. 2 behind Amon-Ra St. Brown. Reynolds is a worthwhile WR4/flex consideration against Atlanta, just double-check he's active on Sunday morning.

  • Josh Reynolds Still Limited On Thursday

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds (groin) was a limited practice participant on Thursday. The 28-year-old was limited on Wednesday as well, but he appears to be on the right side of questionable for Week 3 versus the Atlanta Falcons since he did not have to exit last Sunday's game with a groin injury. Reynolds seems to have surpassed veteran Marvin Jones Jr. as the No. 2 Lions wideout with Jameson Williams suspended, hauling in nine out of 13 targets for 146 yards and two touchdowns in the early goings. Fantasy managers will want to confirm Reynolds' status on Friday's injury report before inserting him into lineups as a possible WR3 option for Sunday's battle.

  • Josh Reynolds Limited In Wednesday's Practice

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds (groin) was limited in Wednesday's team practice. Reynolds showed no signs of the groin issue in Detroit's 37-31 overtime loss in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks. He caught five passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns on 80% of the team snaps. It's a good sign the wideout was able to practice in a limited fashion on Wednesday, and he could see a larger role on offense if Amon-Ra St. Brown (toe) misses Week 3. Reynolds' status should be monitored over the next couple of days.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds caught five of his six targets for 66 yards and two touchdowns in the 31-37 overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The veteran wideout now has 146 receiving yards and three touchdowns through two weeks, meaning he should be rostered in most formats. He'll continue to operate as the team's No. 2 wide receiver, at least until Jameson Williams (suspension) returns in Week 7. Even when Williams returns, there's no guarantee he'll pass Reynolds in the target pecking order. Reynolds has a built-in rapport with quarterback Jared Goff from their time with the Los Angeles Rams.

  • Josh Reynolds - Week 2 Outlook for Fantasy Football

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds caught four passes for 80 yards in the Week 1 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. It looks like he'll operate as the team's No. 2 wide receiver, at least in the absence of Jameson Williams (suspension) until Week 7. That said, he's an intriguing flex option against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2. Seattle gave up 119 yards a piece to Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell last week, so Reynolds could have plenty of chances to produce behind Amon-Ra St. Brown. The Detroit offense played much better at home than on the road last season, so this could be a smash spot for Lions' pass-catchers in their first home game of the 2023 campaign.

    Headshot for Josh Reynolds

Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds caught four of his seven targets for 80 yards in the Week 1 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The 28-year-old pass-catcher delivered multiple splash plays and looked like the clear No. 2 target behind Amon-Ra St. Brown. While it's too early to trust him completely in fantasy lineups, he should at least enter the fantasy radar and be a waiver wire option ahead of Week 2. While Jameson Williams is out with a six-game suspension, Reynolds and tight end Sam LaPorta are looking to step up for quarterback Jared Goff.
