  • Isaiah McKenzie A Risky Flex Play

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie put together a strong performance against the Detroit Lions last week. The 27-year-old finished with six receptions on 10 targets for 96 yards and one touchdown in the win. Coming into the game, McKenzie had not surpassed 40 receiving yards since Week 3. This was a nice outing for McKenzie, but fantasy managers shouldn't jump on the bandwagon. He'll have a tough matchup against the New England Patriots in Week 13. The slot receiver hasn't proven himself yet, which puts him on the WR4 radar for this Thursday Night matchup.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Impresses In Week 12

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie put together a show during the Week 12 matchup against the Detroit Lions. Coming into this game, McKenzie had not surpassed 40 receiving yards since Week 3. On Thursday, McKenzie hauled in six of his 10 targets for 96 yards and one touchdown in the win. Both the yardage and the targets were season highs for McKenzie. This was an odd outburst for McKenzie, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect it to continue. He'll head into a tough matchup against the New England Patriots next week. McKenzie will be a risky WR4 for that Week 13 matchup.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Added To Week 11 Injury Report

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (illness) was added to the Week 11 injury report after being listed as a DNP for Thursday's practice with an illness. McKenzie should be monitored heading into Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, but we should have a better idea of his status on Friday. If the 27-year-old is limited or out this weekend, rookie Khalil Shakir would be in line for elevated snaps out of the slot next to Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis. McKenzie was a popular breakout candidate this summer, but he's failed to deliver on a consistent basis for fantasy managers, catching 24 of his 34 targets for 219 yards and three touchdowns through eight games played. He'll be a boom/bust WR4/flex if he's active against Cleveland.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Has A Poor Showing In Week 10

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie had four receptions for 37 yards in Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs led the way on the receiving end, so there weren't many scraps left for others. The 27-year-old began the season by catching three touchdowns in three of his first four games. However, he hasn't found the end zone since. Nonetheless, McKenzie could have a few impactful fantasy performances before the end of the regular season. But he shouldn't be considered a trustworthy option against the Browns in Week 11, although he still has upside in the flex spot.

  • Isaiah McKenzie A Desperation Flex Play

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie hasn't surpassed 20 receiving yards in a single game since Week 4. In fact, McKenzie has a total of 29 receiving yards over his last three games. He's clearly the third option in this offense behind Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. Luckily for him, McKenzie does have a good matchup against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10. A defensive unit that has heavily struggled to defend the pass this season. Despite that, McKenzie should be considered a desperation flex option in deep leagues for this upcoming matchup.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Is A Risky Start Against Jets

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie has struggled to make an impact lately. In fact, McKenzie has three receptions for 17 yards over his last two games. Before that, McKenzie was playing better with three touchdowns over the first four games. The 27-year-old did score a rushing touchdown last week, but saw one target outside of that. He could have a tough time making impact plays against the New York Jets in Week 9. A defense that is allowing the third-lowest amount of yards to wide receivers this season. Fantasy managers should consider McKenzie a desperation flex option for Week 9.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Scores In Week 8

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie didn't see much action during the Week 8 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. A majority of the targets went to Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis during this contest. McKenzie finished with one reception for eight yards, but scored a rushing touchdown, which helped his fantasy value. McKenzie has a total of 19 yards since returning from his concussion. Khalil Shakir could eventually surpass McKenzie on the depth chart. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for help as McKenzie isn't a reliable option right now.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Quiet In Win

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie was cleared from concussion protocol in time for this Week 6 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, you might not have known McKenzie played if you didn't watch the game. The 27-year-old hauled in two of his five targets for nine yards in the win. Surprisingly, McKenzie didn't have a bigger role in this game even with Jamison Crowder (ankle) sidelined. Khalil Shakir has been fighting his way up the depth chart. He could very well take away some of McKenzie's snaps going forward. McKenzie doesn't appear to have reliable fantasy value right now. He'll be a WR4/5 when the Bills get off their Week 7 bye.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Good To Go After Clearing Concussion Protocol

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (concussion) has cleared the league's concussion protocol and is good to go for Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs after missing the Week 5 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Receiver Jake Kumerow (ankle) and running back Taiwan Jones (knee) will not practice Wednesday. McKenzie will return to his starting slot role next to Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, who exploded for 171 yards and two touchdowns in the rout of the Steelers. Rookie Khalil Shakir also saw an expanded role with McKenzie out and scored his first career touchdown. But Shakir will return to a reserve role with McKenzie set to play this weekend. In four games in 2022, McKenzie has 15 receptions (21 targets) for 153 yards and three touchdowns.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Still In Concussion Protocol

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (concussion) is still in the league's concussion protocol. McKenzie put in some limited practices last week but was ultimately ruled out of the team's Week 5 blowout win over the Pittsburgh Steelers due to his head injury. Despite still being in the protocol, the 27-year-old is expected to return to full practices later this week, which will give him a good chance to return in Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs. With McKenzie out on Sunday, Gabe Davis went off for three catches, 171 yards and two touchdowns on six targets, while Stefon Diggs and rookie Khalil Shakir also found the end zone in the 38-3 rout.

  • Isaiah McKenzie, Jordan Poyer Out In Week 5

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers after he wasn't able to clear the league's concussion protocol. The Bills will also be without wide receivers Jake Kumerow (ankle) and Jamison Crowder (ankle), tight end Dawson Knox (foot, hamstring), safety Jordan Poyer (ribs) and middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (hamstring), so they'll be a bit short-handed on Sunday. Receivers Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis should be heavily targeted in this one, while rookie Khalil Shakir could see considerable snaps out of the slot with both McKenzie and Crowder out. With Knox out at tight end, Tommy Sweeney and Quintin Morris will battle for targets at the tight end position.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Returns To Practice Thursday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (concussion) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. He could not practice Wednesday and remains in the league's concussion protocols. McKenzie was spotted wearing a non-contact jersey during the open portion of practice. Friday's injury report will indicate if McKenzie suits up in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 27-year-old has caught 15 passes for 153 yards and three touchdowns over four games in 2022. Khalil Shakir will be Buffalo's primary slot receiver if McKenzie is ruled out. Stay tuned.

  • Isaiah McKenzie, Jamison Crowder Miss Practice Wednesday

Buffalo Bills wide receivers Isaiah McKenzie (concussion), Jamison Crowder (ankle) and Jake Kumerow (ankle) all missed Wednesday's practice. Head coach Sean McDermott said earlier that McKenzie would be limited, but that turns out not to be the case. He'll need to clear the league's concussion protocols in order to play in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Crowder broke his ankle last week and is out indefinitely, so if McKenzie cannot gain clearance, rookie Khalil Shakir would see a much bigger role out of the slot, as well as Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis and tight end Dawson Knox. McKenzie has been a bright spot in Buffalo's offense through four games, posting a 15-153-3 line.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Remains In Concussion Protocol

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol, but head coach Sean McDermott said McKenzie will be limited at Wednesday's practice. McKenzie will need to get cleared from the protocols in order to play in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he's on the right track. The 27-year-old has been more productive than Gabe Davis through four games, catching 15 of 21 targets for 153 yards and two touchdowns, which has made him an upside WR4/flex play for fantasy managers as the team's starting slot receiver. But if McKenzie doesn't clear the protocols this week, the Bills will be short-handed in the slot, as Jamison Crowder broke his ankle last week. If McKenzie is forced to sit, rookie Khalil Shakir would be forced into a bigger role.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Being Evaluated For Head Injury

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie is being evaluated for a head injury. He exited Week 4 after catching four passes for 21 yards and one touchdown. Not only is McKenzie injured, but fellow wideout Jamison Crowder (ankle) is also doubtful to return. For the time being, Buffalo's wide receiver corps consists of Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis, and Khalil Shakir.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Has Low-End WR3 Appeal

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie was able to redeem himself during last week's matchup. The slot receiver finished with seven receptions on nine targets for 76 yards and one touchdown in the loss to the Miami Dolphins. This was a nice outing for the 27-year-old who was barely involved coming into that contest. McKenzie should once again be involved in Week 4 against the struggling Baltimore Ravens secondary. This defense has allowed the most passing yards this season. That means, the Bills should go all out in the passing game, which should be good for McKenzie. He might be able to hold low-end WR3 value in PPR formats in Week 4. However, he should be considered a WR4 in any format that isn't PPR for this week.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Catches Touchdown In Week 3

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie caught seven of his nine targets for 76 yards and a touchdown while adding a six-yard rush in a 21-19 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3. McKenzie hauled in an eight-yard touchdown pass from Josh Allen in the second quarter, the former's second score of the season. The veteran slot receiver has now caught 11 balls for 132 yards through three games, with his receiving yardage ranking second on the team behind only Stefon Diggs. McKenzie will be a decent flex option in what could be a Week 4 shootout against the Baltimore Ravens.

  • Isaiah McKenzie A Shaky Option For Week 3

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie has failed to make much of an impact through the first two weeks of the season. Through two games, McKenzie has four receptions for 56 yards and one touchdown. His biggest problem is that he'll need to compete with Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis (ankle) for targets. Last week, the Bills were without Davis and McKenzie still posted a dud. At this point, it's unlikely that McKenzie is going to be consistently involved in this offensive attack. He'll be a desperation option in PPR formats, but should be avoided in most leagues right now.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Does Little With Gabe Davis Out

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie didn't make much noise during the season opener, but had a chance to really make himself known on Monday. Fellow wideout Gabe Davis (ankle) was inactive, which should've meant a big game for McKenzie. However, the slot receiver finished with two receptions on three targets and 37 receiving yards in the blowout win over the Tennessee Titans. Stefon Diggs stole the show and everyone else on the roster picked up the scraps. McKenzie has put together back-to-back disappointing outings, which is going to make him a deep league flex going forward. At this point, there should be more reliable options on the waiver wire.

Sep 20 · Source via Bills Isaiah McKenzie
  • Isaiah McKenzie Could Have Low-End WR3 Value

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie could see increased value heading into the Week 2 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Fellow wideout Gabe Davis (ankle) is questionable for this matchup, which means McKenzie could see more action. Last week, McKenzie hauled in two of his three targets for 19 yards and one touchdown in the win. The Bills will likely look his way more often, assuming Davis is unable to play. The Tennessee Titans struggled to cover the pass last season, which is good news for the Bills offense. McKenzie could be able to hold low-end WR3 value without Davis on the field.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Snags Touchdown In Win Over Rams

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie was a shaky fantasy option heading into Thursday's matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. It was uncertain how the targets would be split up. It was a bit of a mixed result for McKenzie in the season opener. He hauled in two of his three targets for 19 yards and one touchdown in the win. Fellow slot receiver Jamison Crowder finished with three receptions for 28 yards, so not much better. It seems that Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis are going to get a bulk of the targets. That means, McKenzie, Crowder, and Dawson Knox are going to be an afterthought most weeks. It's tough to trust McKenzie as anything more than a low-end WR4 heading into next week.

  • Isaiah McKenzie A Shaky Option Versus Rams

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (groin) appears to be ready to play after getting in back-to-back practices. The 27-year-old is expected to begin the season as the starting slot receiver in Buffalo. However, Jamison Crowder is also likely to see snaps in the slot, which could make for a frustrating situation in fantasy leagues. The expectation is that McKenzie will see a full workload against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1. However, it's uncertain how the Bills plan to share the targets. That being said, McKenzie should be viewed as a shaky WR4 for this Thursday night matchup.

  • Bills Think Isaiah McKenzie Will Be Ready For Thursday

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said he thinks wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (groin) will be ready for the Week 1 regular season opener this Thursday night against the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. McKenzie was listed as a full practice participant on Monday, so unless a setback occurs, it looks like he'll be active as the team's starting slot receiver alongside Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. Veteran Jamison Crowder is also an option in the slot, but McKenzie's stellar play in training camp this summer earned him the starting gig to begin the season. The 27-year-old's after-the-catch ability in this potent Bills offense makes him a WR4/flex option in Week 1 in deeper fantasy leagues.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Practices In Full Monday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (groin) was listed as a full practice participant on Monday on the first injury report of the 2022 season. Barring a setback, McKenzie will be ready to roll for the Week 1 regular season opener on Thursday night against the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. With a strong training camp this summer, the 27-year-old solidified himself as Buffalo's top option in the slot over veteran Jamison Crowder. McKenzie will start in three-receiver sets alongside Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, and he's a popular breakout candidate in fantasy in 2022 with plenty of after-the-catch ability. In his first game this season against a strong Rams defense, McKenzie will be an RB4/flex in deeper fantasy leagues.

  • Isaiah McKenzie Returning To Practice Sunday

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (undisclosed) will return to practice on Sunday. McKenzie isn't a lock to kick off the 2022 season on Thursday night against the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams, but he's moving in the right direction. The 27-year-old really impressed in training camp this summer and projects to open the year as the starting slot wideout in Buffalo over veteran Jamison Crowder. Crowder will still have a role, but McKenzie is the better fantasy target with more after-the-catch ability and pure upside in an explosive Bills offense. McKenzie is a nice late-round target with upside in deeper leagues.

Sep 4 · Source via Bills Isaiah McKenzie
  • Isaiah McKenzie In Danger Of Missing The Opener?

Buffalo Bills slot wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie (undisclosed) suffered an injury in practice last Saturday and has not practiced since. General manager Brandon Beane said it would be hard to hold McKenzie out of the Week 1 game against the Los Angeles Rams next Thursday, but said "we'll see." It doesn't appear to be a serious injury for the 27-year-old, but he'll have a little less time to recover with the Week 1 opener coming on Thursday night against the defending Super Bowl champions. We'll have a better idea of McKenzie's status next week, but if he can't go or is limited, it will open up more playing time in the slot for veteran Jamison Crowder, who could be a DFS sleeper in PPR scoring.
