  • Cooper Kupp Inactive For Divisional Round

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (knee) is officially inactive for Saturday's playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. A huge loss for a team whose quarterback is already dealing with a thumb injury, we'll likely see Josh Reynolds step into Kupp's role. Reynolds now has some nice appeal as a DFS value play, but this is likely to be a very run-heavy game for the Rams, with Cam Akers being the real winner here.

  • Cooper Kupp Could Have Decent Floor If He's Active

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (knee) might be impacted by quarterback Jared Goff's thumb injury on Saturday in the Divisional Round game against the Packers, but his role as a short-yardage receiver should still give Kupp a solid fantasy floor. Of course, this is dependent on Kupp suiting up, as he's been dealing with a knee injury all week. If for some reason he's unable to go, Josh Reynolds would become an intriguing DFS punt play.

  • Cooper Kupp Questionable Against Packers

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (knee) is listed as questionable for the Divisional Round against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday. Kupp missed practice all week, so fantasy managers should certainly be way of quarterback Jared Goff's top target if he's active this weekend. Kupp's injury wasn't deemed serious last weekend when he left late in the wild-card win over the Seahawks, but it could very well limit him if he suits up against Green Bay. Wide receivers Robert Woods, Josh Reynolds and rookie Van Jefferson could see more targets if Kupp has his snaps limited, but all of LA's pass-catchers should be knocked down a peg with Goff fighting through a surgically repaired right thumb.

  • Cooper Kupp, John Wolford Miss Practice Wednesday

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (knee) and quarterback John Wolford (neck) both missed practice on Wednesday. Kupp also sat out of the walk-through on Tuesday. He's reportedly just dealing with bursitis in his knee, but it's something to watch as we approach Saturday's Divisional Round contest against the Packers. He'll need to get in at least a limited practice on Thursday for fantasy managers to feel comfortable using him in their lineups. Even if he's active, Kupp will have a much lower floor and ceiling with quarterback Jared Goff (thumb) also injured. Rookie Van Jefferson and Josh Reynolds could see an uptick in usage if Kupp is limited or out against Green Bay. Wolford started the wild-card win over the Seahawks but didn't make it out of the first quarter. If he's active, he's expected to back up Goff this weekend. If Wolford can't go, Blake Bortles would back up Goff.

  • Cooper Kupp Has Bursitis In Knee

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that wide receiver Cooper Kupp (knee) has bursitis in his knee, but "the hope is to have him ready to go" for the Divisional Round against the Green Bay Packers. Kupp hauled in four of his nine targets for 78 yards in the 30-20 win over Seattle, but he was seen limping off late in the fourth quarter with his knee injury. While it's not a serious injury, it's something to consider with both quarterbacks Jared Goff (thumb) and John Wolford (neck) also banged up heading into the second round of the postseason. Kupp could also see a lot of shutdown cornerback Jaire Alexander against the Packers, making him a potential bust in fantasy playoff leagues this weekend.

  • Cooper Kupp Fine After Suffering Knee Contusion

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (knee) suffered a knee contusion late in the fourth quarter of the wild-card win over the division-rival Seahawks on Saturday. He will be fine and should be active in the Divisional Round next weekend. The 27-year-old left the game late and didn't return with the game already decided, but it looks like he escaped a serious injury. Kupp finished the game with four catches on nine targets for 78 yards in the 30-20 win over Seattle. The former third-round pick remains quarterback Jared Goff's (thumb) favorite aerial target, but he'll be a bit risky yet again in DFS playoff lineups next week (likely against Green Bay) with both Goff and backup John Wolford (neck) dealing with injuries. Don't be surprised if Kupp misses some practice time this week as a precaution.

  • Cooper Kupp Should Have Solid Floor On Saturday

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has five or more receptions in four consecutive games, including catching eight passes for 66 yards last week with John Wolford starting at quarterback. It remains unclear who the quarterback will be on Saturday, but if it is Wolford again, Kupp should be the player who is least impacted by the downgrade from Jared Goff (thumb) to Wolford. Consider him a solid DFS play, even if his ceiling might not be nearly as high as you might want in a GPP.

  • Cooper Kupp Activated From COVID-19 List

The Los Angeles Rams activated wide receiver Cooper Kupp from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday, putting him on track to play in the wild-card playoff game against the Seahawks on Saturday. Kupp tested positive for COVID-19 and sat out of the Week 17 win over the Cardinals. His return will be a big boost for LA's offense, which could be without quarterback Jared Goff (thumb) for the second straight game. The 27-year-old is one of Goff's favorite targets out of the slot, and he finished the 2020 regular season with 92 receptions (124 targets) for 974 yards and a season-low three touchdowns in 15 games. He had eight catches on nine targets for 66 yards in the Week 16 meeting against Seattle, but fantasy managers will want to temper expectations if John Wolford is forced into just his second NFL start this weekend.

  • Cooper Kupp Expected To Be Activated

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that he expects wide receiver Cooper Kupp and defensive lineman Michael Brockers to be activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of the team's wild-card playoff game against the Seahawks on Saturday. Kupp and Brockers should be available to practice this week after sitting out of the Week 17 win over the Cardinals. The 27-year-old wideout's return will be excellent news for LA's offense against an improving Seattle defense, but the slot receiver will most likely be a fade in playoff lineups with either Jared Goff (thumb) or John Wolford under center this weekend. Kupp will be much more attractive, but won't be without risk, if Goff is able to make the start, as the two have developed a nice chemistry over the years.

  • Cooper Kupp Is Solid In Week 16

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp played exactly as expected in Week 16 against the Seattle Seahawks with a safe but unspectacular performance. He caught eight of his nine targets for 66 yards on the day, which put him solidly in the WR2 category for the week. Kupp is one of the safest plays in fantasy on a weekly basis thanks to his consistent volume and ability to run after the catch. Unless he scores a few touchdowns, he's not going to enter that top-end conversation, but you can do much worse at your second wide receiver spot.

  • Cooper Kupp Is A Safe Play In Week 15

Similar to his quarterback, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp is a safe play in Week 15 against the New York Jets, but he doesn't give you an overwhelming ceiling in this matchup. If you have a lineup that features a few high-volatility fantasy players, Kupp is the perfect player to cement into a WR2 slot that should give you solid production against the worst team in the NFL. The Jets are the worst passing defense in the NFL, and they aren't going to change that this week. With Kupp, it's unlikely he plays the entire game or sees a pass-heavy script, but he should be as safe as they come as a WR2 in the fantasy semifinals.

  • Cooper Kupp Scores In Week 14

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp was on track for a quiet outing before a strong second half against the New England Patriots on Thursday night. He caught all five of his targets for 33 yards and a touchdown that really helped to elevate his evening. The Rams offense relied on rookie running back Cam Akers and didn't need to get much going through the air, which really hurt Kupp's bottom line. His volume alongside teammate Robert Woods remains consistent, though, and with some good matchups over the next few weeks, he should be a solid part of your fantasy lineups.

  • Cooper Kupp Is A WR2 In Week 14

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has been one of the safer wide receiver plays all season, and while you're playing him in Week 14, you should temper your expectations against the New England Patriots on Thursday. Teammate Robert Woods figures to match up with All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore, which means that Kupp will have an easier matchup as a result, but the matchup as a whole is still less than perfect. Kupp is a weekly WR2 because of the volume he's been receiving. He's averaging 8.75 targets per game, and that's more than enough opportunities to put up a decent fantasy outing.

  • Cooper Kupp Has A Solid Outing In Week 13

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp was coming off of his worst performance in Week 12, but he had a much better outing in Week 13 against the Arizona Cardinals. He caught eight of his nine targets for 73 yards on the day. Teammate Robert Woods maintained the lead in targets, but neither of them scored a touchdown. Kupp has generally been a safe play this season because he gets a good amount of volume every week and has excellent chemistry with quarterback Jared Goff. His matchup in Week 14 isn't perfect, but things get easier following the matchup with the New England Patriots.

  • Cooper Kupp Goes Big In Week 11

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp didn't have a great matchup in Week 11 on Monday night, but it didn't matter, as he went off for a big night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He caught 11 of his 13 targets for 145 yards. Unfortunately, he couldn't get into the end zone on the night, but this was still a fantastic night regardless. The matchups that the Rams are dealing with over the next few weeks aren't great, but Kupp gets enough volume to maintain fantasy value. He's firmly in the WR2 conversation with the volume that he's seeing and he can have WR1 upside with games like this.

  • Cooper Kupp Could Struggle In Week 11

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has regressed since his WR4 finish last season, but he's still been a solid fantasy asset. In Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, he's poised for a big struggle because of the matchup. The Bucs are ranked as the NFL's best team in terms of DVOA against the pass and they have the corners to match up well with Kupp. Additionally, the targets for Kupp have been trending downwards over the last few weeks. It's unclear how much the loss of left tackle Andrew Whitworth (knee) will have on the offense, but they could struggle on offense if Tampa gets consistent pressure on quarterback Jared Goff. Kupp is a weekly WR2 for fantasy managers, but a WR3 finish against the Bucs wouldn't be a huge surprise.

  • Cooper Kupp Active In Week 10

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (wrist) is officially active for the team's Week 10 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Kupp had been limited at practice this week while dealing with both a wrist injury and an oblique injury. Kupp had 20 targets in the team's most recent game in Week 8 against the Dolphins. This week, against the league's worst pass defense, expect Kupp to deliver a strong WR1 performance.

  • Cooper Kupp Has WR1 Potential In Week 10

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp probably enjoyed his bye after the busiest day of his career in Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins. In Week 10, he draws the Seattle Seahawks, a defense that has been giving away fantasy points to the wide receiver position like it's their job. They have given up an average of 37.6 PPR points per game, which is 6.4 more than the next-closest team. Kupp plays out of the slot, and the Seahawks best corners are on the outside. He'll have a great matchup as soon as he steps onto the field and he should be a solid play in Week 10.

  • Cooper Kupp Will Likely Play Against Seahawks

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that wide receiver Cooper Kupp (wrist) will be limited in practice on Wednesday but will likely play in Week 10 against the division-rival Seahawks. The Rams are coming off their bye week, so it's a little odd that Kupp is on the injury report, but the good news is that it doesn't appear to be a serious issue at all. With LA playing from behind for most of the time in Week 8, Kupp was targeted a ridiculous 21 times, catching 11 passes for 110 yards in the loss to Miami. Quarterback Jared Goff won't always attempt 61 passes a game, but it was nice to see Kupp garner double-digit targets for the first time since Week 3. The Rams could be forced to play catch-up with Seattle this Sunday, making Kupp a solid WR2 with WR1 upside against a Seahawks Defense that is allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts.

  • Cooper Kupp Is A WR2 In Week 8

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has had a couple of quiet games the last couple of weeks, but he has a juicy matchup in Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are in the middle of the pack, allowing 23.0 fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, but their biggest weakness is in the slot where Kupp lines up. Cornerback Nik Needham has graded out as No. 107 out of 118 cornerbacks this season, per Pro Football Focus. Kupp takes the majority of his snaps there and he has a significant advantage in that matchup. He still leads the team in targets and he averages over five receptions per game. If he can get into the end zone, this could even be a WR1 week for him.

  • Cooper Kupp Bounces Back In Week 7

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp was shut down in Week 6, but he bounced back against a tough Chicago Bears Defense in Week 7 on Monday night. He caught all six of his targets for 43 yards and he added one run for 16 yards. Kupp was second on the team in targets and he remained an integral part of this offense. Quarterback Jared Goff has looked Kupp's way more than any other pass-catcher this season, and that's probably not going to stop. Kupp's WR1 ceiling isn't really there like it was last year, but he does still have a safe WR2 floor on a week-to-week basis.
