  • Aaron Jones, Robert Tonyan Limited Wednesday

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (ankle) and tight end Robert Tonyan (knee) were limited practice participants on Wednesday. Jones continues to be bothered by an ankle injury, but he hasn't missed any time on game days. In the Week 5 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, he carried the ball 14 times for 103 yards while catching four of his five targets for six yards. The Chicago Bears defense will present a challenge in Week 6, but the 26-year-old is the RB6 after five weeks and is a must-start week in and week out. Tonyan should be able to play this weekend unless he suffers a setback, but he's been dropped in most leagues after a slow start to the season. Through five games, he has only nine catches on 17 targets for 82 yards and a touchdown.

  • Aaron Jones Removed From Injury Report In Week 5

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Cincinnati Bengals. The 26-year-old was limited in practice for the second straight week due to an ankle injury but will play in Week 5. Surprisingly, the Bengals have been good against the run and are 11th in DOVA against the run, allowing 65 rushing yards per game. Jones is the RB4 in overall fantasy points with 206 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 56 attempts while hauling 13-of-14 targets for an additional 126 yards and three scores. Fantasy managers can count on Jones to produce as a top-five running back this Sunday.

  • Aaron Jones Still On The Injury Report

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (ankle) remained a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Jones continues to be limited by his ankle in practices, but he has yet to miss a game so far this season. There's nothing to suggest that he'll be in any danger of missing a Week 5 date with the Cincinnati Bengals. Through four weeks, Jones is the RB4 in overall fantasy points with 206 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 56 attempts while catching 13 of his 14 targets for an additional 126 yards and three trips to paydirt. Unless the 26-year-old has an injury setback in practice later this week, he should be locked and loaded as a top-five fantasy running back this weekend.

  • Aaron Jones Racks Up 99 Total Yards

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones carried the ball 15 times for 48 yards and added three catches for 51 yards in the team's Week 5 win over the Steelers. Jones saw the same amount of carries as teammate A.J. Dillon but punctuated his play with a 27-yard receptions to break a talented Steelers defense. Despite not finding pay-dirt, Jones will be remain a fantastic RB1 option in an explosive offense that prioritizes underneath passing opportunities to running backs and tight ends.

  • Aaron Jones Doesn't Have An Injury Designation

After practicing on a limited basis all week, Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (ankle) was removed from the final injury report for Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Backup A.J. Dillon (back) popped up on the injury report on Thursday, but he practiced on a limited basis the last two days and is also good to go for Sunday. Jones only had seven touches in the blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 1, but since then he's touched the football 44 times for 211 total yards and five touchdowns. The Steelers defense has allowed only 206 rushing yards and no touchdowns to running backs in the first three weeks, but Jones remains a must-start RB1 in this offense.

  • Aaron Jones Has Been Limited This Week

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (ankle) has put in limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday this week, while backup A.J. Dillon (back) popped up on the injury report as a limited practice participant on Thursday. There's nothing to suggest that either player is in danger of missing a Week 4 tilt against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but we'll keep an eye on their final designations on Friday. Through three games, Jones has played 119 snaps to Dillon's 53 and remains Green Bay's primary back. He has 41 carries for 158 yards and two touchdowns and has caught all 10 of his targets for 75 yards and another three scores. Despite a matchup against a Steelers D that has yet to allow a TD to a running back so far in 2021, Jones remain a must-start RB1.

  • Aaron Jones Gets Stiff Test Against Steelers

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones will have a tough matchup in Week 4 against the Steelers. Jones is off to a fantastic start to his season, posting 233 all-purpose yards with five touchdowns through the first three weeks. But he will go up against a Steelers run defense that currently is allowing the fourth fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs. Pittsburgh has not allowed a touchdown yet to an opposing running back, which could stunt Jones' fantasy ceiling for Week 4. Jones deserves to be in starting lineups but expectations may need to be tempered.

  • Aaron Jones Punches In Touchdown

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones carried the ball 19 times for 82 yards with 14 receiving yards and one touchdown in Green Bay's Week 3 win over the 49ers. Jones punched in a three-yard touchdown and now has five total touchdowns over his last two games. After a disastrous Week 1 performance, Jones is now averaging 105.5 total yards a game over his last two played and is back on the RB1 map heading into next week.

  • Can Aaron Jones Repeat Week 2 Success?

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones will face a 49ers defense in Week 3 that has struggled to bottle up opposing running backs through the first two games. After a terrible fantasy performance in the season opener, Jones exploded for four touchdowns against the Lions last week. Now he will face a 49ers defense that is allowing the fourth most fantasy points to opposing running backs through the first two weeks. San Francisco has already allowed two different backs to post 20-plus fantasy points against them, which should put Jones back on the RB1 map for Week 3's action.

  • Aaron Jones Explodes For Four Touchdowns

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones carried the ball 17 times for 67 yards, added six catches for 48 yards and scored four touchdowns in the Packers win over the Lions. The Packers offense bounced back in a big way and Jones was the beneficiary. Jones was lethal in the red zone, picking up three short-yard touchdown catches and punched in a rushing touchdown with a 1-yard burst. A.J. Dillon and Kylin Hill combined for only seven carries in the game as Jones reminded the fantasy community that he is the Packers clear-cut RB1 in the backfield. Jones will try and keep it rolling next week against the 49ers on Sunday Night Football.

  • Aaron Jones Gets Tasty Lions Matchup

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones will have an excellent chance to post RB1 numbers in Week 2 against the Lions. Jones was held to 22 total yards Week 1 and saw only five carries from the backfield as the Packers were destroyed by the Saints. But the Lions defense may be the perfect elixir to get back on track as Detroit allowed the most fantasy points to running backs last season. Jones specifically enjoyed playing the Lions in 2020, posting 236 total yards with three touchdowns in Week 2 then adding 75 total yards in Week 14. Jones is in a great position to bounce back this Sunday.

  • Aaron Jones Gets Stout Week 1 Matchup

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones will kick off his 2021 season going up against a Saints defense that allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs last season. Jones signed a long-term extension in the offseason after posting 1,459 all-purpose yards and 11 total touchdowns last season. Now he will face a tough Saints defense who Jones actually was one of the few backs to have moderate success against. Jones posted 17 receiving yards, 69 rushing yards and one touchdown against them in Week 3 of the 2020 season. Jones will bring a high-floor, but perhaps a low ceiling, to his fantasy status heading into Week 1.

  • Aaron Jones Back At Practice This Week

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (hamstring) missed practice last week due to a hamstring injury. However, he returned to practice on Monday and is back to working with the first team offense. Jones compiled 1,459 total yards and 11 total touchdowns last year and should be able to put up similar numbers this year as long as he stays healthy. Jones is a great target at the end of the first round in all fantasy drafts. A.J. Dillon will serve as his backup and is a strong handcuff to target if you draft Jones.

  • Aaron Jones Sitting Out Practice With Hamstring Injury

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (hamstring) is sitting out practice on Monday due to a hamstring injury. There's no word as to the nature or severity of the injury at this point. He should be considered questionable for the team's first preseason game against the Houston Texans this coming Saturday. The Packers' No. 2 back AJ Dillon is running with the first team at practice on Monday and he would start against the Texans if Jones is unable to go. Fantasy managers shouldn't panic at all about Jones quite yet. He's still a great first round target. Stay tuned for further updates.
