Chase Edmonds, Raheem Mostert Listed As Starting RBs
Miami Dolphins running backs Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert (knee) are listed as the team's starting running backs on Miami's first official depth chart of training camp. While Edmonds is the presumed lead back in new head coach Mike McDaniel's offense, there remains a strong competition in training camp that involves Mostert, Sony Michel and Myles Gaskin. Mostert is coming off another lost season due to a knee injury, but he has familiarity with McDaniel from their time in San Francisco. Edmonds, 26, has three-down versatility and is the most attractive fantasy back in Miami, but his ceiling will likely be limited in this crowded backfield. As of right now, fantasy managers should be targeting him as an RB3/flex with upside.

Raheem Mostert Says He'll Be Ready For Week 1
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (knee) said on Wednesday that he'll "be ready for Week 1." There was some doubt that Mostert would even be ready for the start of training camp this week, but he gained medical clearance and avoided the Physically Unable to Perform list, so it's definitely possible he'll be ready to go for the regular season opener. The 30-year-old has played in just nine games combined the last two seasons for the San Francisco 49ers due to knee injuries, and he'll be competing with Sony Michel this summer for a chance to get touches behind Chase Edmonds in what could become somewhat of a committee backfield. The Dolphins also have Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed around for depth. Mostert has familiarity with head coach Mike McDaniel from their time in San Fran, but for now, Mostert should be considered a RB4/5 option for depth in deeper leagues.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert Cleared To Practice
The Dolphins have made a number of changes to their running game this offseason, including the addition of Raheem Mostert. The veteran’s health has been the cause of some speculation leading up to his debut season in Miami, but he provided an encouraging update on the subject today. Mostert tweeted that he has been medically cleared […]
Jul 25 · Pro Football Rumors Dolphins Chase Edmonds Sony Michel Raheem MostertRaheem Mostert Medically Cleared
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (knee) announced on his Twitter account on Monday that he has received medical clearance to take part in training camp. It remains to be seen if Mostert will be 100 percent healthy by the time Week 1 rolls around, but it's a great sign that he'll be ready for the start of camp on Tuesday. Chase Edmonds figures to be the team's primary back in what is a crowded backfield, so Mostert will mostly be competing for a role alongside Sony Michel this summer. The Dolphins also have Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed for additional depth. Mostert is familiar with head coach Mike McDaniel from their time in San Francisco, but the 30-year-old has had a tough time staying healthy, playing in just nine games the last two years due to injuries.

Raheem Mostert Close To Full Health
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (knee) said on his Twitter account on Wednesday that his rehab is going well and that he is close to 100%. Mostert hasn't been taking part in Miami's offseason workouts, but there's a chance that he'll be ready to go in late July for the start of training camp. The 30-year-old injured his left knee in the season opener last year with the San Francisco 49ers and didn't play another game all season. He was also limited to just eight games in 2020 due to injury and is a pretty big injury risk. Until Mostert proves he's back to full health, he's nothing more than an RB4/5 in much deeper leagues, and he'll be competing for backfield work in Miami with Chase Edmonds and Sony Michel.

Raheem Mostert Believes Familiarity With Offense Will Help
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (knee) agreed to a one-year, $3.125 million contract in March after spending his previous six seasons in San Francisco. During Mostert's time in the Bay Area, he accumulated 1,610 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns and was a hit-or-miss fantasy option for years. However, with the deal, he will follow new Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, who served as the 49ers run game and offensive coordinator since 2017. The 30-year-old believes his familiarity with the offense will help him this season. Still, with Mostert working his way back from a season-ending knee injury in September, he'll also need to battle Chase Edmonds, Sony Michel, and Myles Gaskin for touches. As a result, the veteran's outlook isn't as bright, although he may have a few sufficient fantasy performances during the 2022-23 campaign.

Raheem Mostert Expects To Play Week 1
Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (knee) is expected to be able to suit up to begin the season. Although, head coach Mike McDaniel mentioned that the organization isn't going to rush it. Mostert suffered a knee injury in September and is still recovering from it. Chase Edmonds figures to be the primary back, but that might not last too long. Myles Gaskin, Sony Michel, and Mostert should be in the mix as well. This sounds like a headache for fantasy managers heading into the season.
