  • Breshad Perriman Carries Low-End Flex Value

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle) was able to practice on Thursday without any issues. He returned last week against the Miami Dolphins and finished with four receptions for 62 yards. The fact that Perriman saw eight targets last week is a good sign for his fantasy value. Sadly, there isn't anyone on this roster that is reliable right now besides Jamison Crowder. Fantasy owners in PPR leagues might be able to trust Perriman as a low-end flex option against the Buffalo Bills here.

  • Breshad Perriman Finishes With Four Receptions In Week 6

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman returned for the Week 6 matchup versus the Miami Dolphins after missing each of the last three games. He was able to haul in four of his eight targets for 62 yards in the loss. The Jets offense is horrendous, so really no one on that roster is worth using besides Jamison Crowder. Perriman might have some PPR value, but is not worth owning in most formats. It's unlikely that he'll carry much value against the Buffalo Bills in Week 7.

  • Breshad Perriman Expects To Suit Up Sunday

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle) is on track to return to the lineup for Sundays contest versus Miami. Perriman has missed each of New Yorks three previous contests, with his return giving former teammate Joe Flacco a deep threat against the Dolphins secondary. Optimism does not abound surrounding the Jets offense, which makes Perriman a risky play, but if healthy, he could hold deep season-long league appeal as a touchdown-dependent option depending on what else the waiver wire offers. Having combined for five catches and 29 receiving yards this year, Perriman is likely best served as keeping an eye on for performance in the second half of the season.

  • Breshad Perriman's Status Uncertain For Week 6

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle) was limited during practice throughout the week and is listed as questionable for the Week 6 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Perriman has missed each of the last three games, but it appears he has a real chance of returning for this one. Sadly, the Jets offense is horrendous, so this won't mean much for fantasy leagues. His return could decrease the streaming appeal of Jeff Smith, but Perriman hasn't shown enough worth trusting him in standard leagues.

  • Breshad Perriman Likely Out Sunday Versus Cardinals

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle) will likely be out of the mix for Sundays contest against the Cardinals, further limiting quarterback Joe Flaccos options in the passing game. Perriman last suited up Week 2, having combined to make five receptions for 29 yards this season. While Perriman could be a possible DFS upside selection when healthy, his injury severely hampers the teams options, with Jamison Crowder standing out as the premier playmaker. The next best chance that Perriman will have to return comes next Sunday against the Chargers, who have proven to be an above-average defensive unit, giving him little fantasy intrigue until he shows hes capable of bottling his downfield effectiveness from last season.

  • Breshad Perriman Likely To Miss His Third Straight Game

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle) is unlikely to suit up for the Week 5 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. He has been unable to practice each of the last two weeks. Perriman would have a tough matchup against the Cardinals pass defense, assuming he did suit up. Chris Hogan should see an extended role without Perriman available. However, Jamison Crowder remains the only reliable receiver for this offense. Perriman was struggling before his injury, so it's probably safe to cut him in 12/14 team leagues.

  • Breshad Perriman Misses Another Practice

New York Jets head coach Adam Gase said that wide receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle) and rookie left tackle Mekhi Becton (shoulder) will both miss practice on Thursday. Neither player was able to practice on Wednesday either, so they'll need to get in at least a limited practice on Friday to have a shot at playing in Week 5 against the Cardinals. Perriman has been out the last two weeks and doesn't look like he's close to getting back on the field. The 27-year-old is droppable in shallow formats in one of the league's worst offenses, especially with quarterback Sam Darnold (shoulder) out this Sunday. Jamison Crowder, Chris Hogan and Braxton Berrios should operate in three-wide sets if Perriman misses another game, with Crowder the only wideout worth considering in fantasy.

  • Breshad Perriman Ruled Out Versus Broncos

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle) has been ruled out for the Week 4 matchup versus the Denver Broncos. Head coach Adam Gase mentioned that Perriman could miss roughly a week or two. There's hope that Perriman will be able to play against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5. Until then, Chris Hogan, Braxton Berrios, and possibly Jamison Crowder (hamstring) will be leaned on in the passing game. Perriman wasn't playing well before the injury, so he might only be a deep league option at this point.

  • Jamison Crowder, Breshad Perriman Ruled Out Against Colts

New York Jets head coach Adam Gase said that wide receivers Jamison Crowder (hamstring) and Breshad Perriman (ankle) have been ruled out for Week 3 against the Colts. It'll be Crowder's second straight missed game. The Jets offense is an absolute disaster right now, as running back Le'Veon Bell is also out for multiple weeks. Chris Hogan and Braxton Berrios will be quarterback Sam Darnold's top targets this Sunday, making Indy's defense an excellent streaming option. You'd have to be really desperate to consider Hogan or Berrios in a flex spot in the deepest of leagues. Tight end Chris Herndon had a quiet Week 2, but he has some sleeper appeal with all of New York's pass-catchers injured.

  • Breshad Perriman, Chris Hogan On Week 3 Injury Report

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle) will not practice on Thursday, while wide receiver Chris Hogan (rib) is limited while dealing with a rib injury. On top of it, Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is expected to miss his second straight game against the Colts. Braxton Berrios and Josh Malone are the only other wideouts on the roster, although Lawrence Cager could get called up from the practice squad. Running back Le'Veon Bell is also out. The Jets offense is downright ugly, making the Colts Defense a strong streaming option this week. Perriman is considered week-to-week, but you should've already been looking to avoid him in standard 12-team leagues. Other than maybe tight end Chris Herndon as a flex sleeper, it would be smart to avoid Gang Green.

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle) was forced to exit early during the Week 2 blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Before exiting, Perriman was able to haul in both his targets for 12 yards. It's unknown if he'll be able to suit up for Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts. Chris Hogan and Braxton Berrios could offer some PPR upside, assuming Perriman and Jamison Crowder (hamstring) remain sidelined. Perriman wasn't playing well anyway and is quickly becoming a cut-candidate.

  • Breshad Perriman Will Miss Remainder Of Week 2

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (ankle) will miss the remainder of Sunday's game against the 49ers. With Denzel Mims (hamstring) and Jamison Crowder (hamstring) also out, the Jets may continue to lean on Frank Gore on the ground and Chris Hogan as the primary pass-catcher.

  • Breshad Perriman Quickly Losing Value

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman was listed as the No. 1 option for the team heading into their Week 1 matchup with the Buffalo Bills. He finished the game with three receptions on five targets for 17 yards. Both Jamison Crowder and Chris Herndon appear to be the favorable options in New York. Things aren't going to get easier for Perriman in Week 2 when he faces off against the San Francisco 49ers Defense. Perriman is basically a desperation flex right now, but has potential to be useful if he ever figures it out.

  • Breshad Perriman Quiet On Sunday

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman was listed as the No. 1 option heading into their Week 1 matchup with the Buffalo Bills. However, Perriman did not perform like a leading receiver and finished with three receptions for 17 yards in the loss. He only saw three targets during the entire game, but the Jets offense looked awful in this one. Things aren't going to get better for Perriman as he plays the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2. He might be worth holding onto in 12-team leagues, but would be a risky WR3 play for next week.

  • Breshad Perriman Should Play Sunday

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (knee) was able to fully practice on Wednesday. It seems like he'll be good to play during their Week 1 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Perriman is listed as the Jets No. 1 receiver, but his fantasy value isn't that great. The Bills defend well versus the passing game and Perriman hasn't done enough to warrant trust from fantasy owners. There's a chance that he has WR3 value this week, but probably belongs on the bench in most 12-team leagues.

  • Breshad Perriman, Jamison Crowder, Denzel Mims Practice In Full

New York Jets wide receivers Breshad Perriman (knee), Jamison Crowder (hamstring) and rookie Denzel Mims (hamstring) all practiced in full on Wednesday. All three players should be able to suit up in the Week 1 season opener on the road against the Bills. Perriman will be the team's de facto No. 1 receiver with Robby Anderson gone, but he's one to shy away from in his Jets debut, as he's likely to draw the shadow coverage of All-Pro cornerback Tre'Davious White. As a result, Crowder could have the much better day production-wise for fantasy owners as more of a WR4/flex play. In an unusual offseason in which he missed time with his injury in training camp, Mims figures to get off to a slow start, and the matchup in Week 1 is easily avoidable if you own him.

  • Breshad Perriman Starting To Feel Better

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (knee) is reportedly "feeling a lot better," according to head coach Adam Gase. The 26-year-old is presumed to return to practice soon, and the hope is that he can suit up for Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills. Regardless, Perriman has not practiced since late August due to knee swelling, so expect some rust upon his return. Even if he does manage to play, the Jets offense will be in tough against a stingy Bills Defense, making most of their receiving core a fantasy fade.

  • Breshad Perriman Expected To Return Saturday

New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman (knee) is expected to return to practice on Saturday. Perriman's injury isn't serious, and he was having a really good start to camp before the ailment popped up. After a big year in Tampa Bay with six touchdowns, Perriman comes to New York hoping to boost the Jets passing game alongside Jamison Crowder. The former first-round pick should be the team's top outside receiver to begin the season, especially with rookie second-rounder Denzel Mims (hamstring) currently hurt. Perriman probably won't be very consistent in Adam Gase's offense, but he's worth a late-round flier for fantasy depth at the position.
