Fantasy Advice
Is the friction between Stefon Diggs and the Bills a red flag? Yes. But perhaps not a big enough flag to knock Diggs off a high ranking after finishing WR2, WR5, and WR4 in seasons 2020-2022. The team and Josh Allen say things got blown out of proportion by the media. Wouldn't be the first time. The receiver depth chart has not changed as much as we thought it might this offseason. Allen will continue to lean on Diggs and their exceptional on-field connection. Diggs is a little risky for potential insubordination, but don't hesitate too much on acquiring elite production.

Stefon Diggs Returns To Form In Week 12

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs busted his recent slump despite the elements of Week 12's 37-34 overtime defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles, totaling six receptions on 11 targets for 74 yards and a touchdown. In a riveting duel between two of the NFL's top offenses, Diggs made a savvy diving grab right along the goal line for a second-quarter touchdown from 13 yards out. The CBS broadcast noted on a few occasions that Diggs was missing from the field during several key moments of the first two quarters, but the 29-year-old superstar still turned in a big half with five catches on six targets for 60 yards and the aforementioned score. Unfortunately, Diggs would go on to secure one more 14-yard catch on five looks the rest of the way. It was still a fine rebound for Diggs, who generated 61 yards over the prior two outings combined. The Bills catch a Week 13 breather with another possible shootout with the Kansas City Chiefs on deck in Week 14.

Stefon Diggs In Prime Get-Right Spot Against Eagles

Turning 30 years old on Wednesday, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs has tripped up for a combined 7/61/0 receiving line over his last two weeks. Diggs has posted his two lowest outputs of the year during this slump, but he notably had to deal with the coverage of All-Pro cornerbacks Pat Surtain II and Sauce Gardner. Diggs sees a shiny opportunity to rebound in Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Defensive coordinator Sean Desai's guys are being feasted on for the most fantasy points per game (46.15) to opposing wideouts. Still top three among WRs in each category of targets (110), receptions (77), and touchdowns (seven), Diggs should remain the best bet for quarterback Josh Allen's attention despite the emergence of first-round rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid. Diggs is a clear-cut WR1 in a cupcake assignment here.

Stefon Diggs Beginning To Slump

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs was bottled up for a season-low 27 yards on four catches over eight targets in Sunday's 32-6 blowout win over the New York Jets. After getting the best of Gang Green's vaunted secondary for a 10/102/1 receiving line in the regular-season opener, Diggs could not come up with an encore presentation in Week 11. His 10-yard gain early after halftime incited a brief fracas between the two sides after Sauce Gardner body-slammed him to the turf. Following a wonderful first nine games of his age-30 campaign, Diggs has taken a snooze for a 61-yard slowdown in his last two outings combined. The three-time Pro Bowler has a prime opportunity to wake up in a Week 12 date with the Philadelphia Eagles, who are being thrashed for the most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts.

Things Don't Get Easier For Stefon Diggs In Week 11

After reaching at least 13.6 full-PPR fantasy points in each game prior, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs was flummoxed for season lows across the board in catches (three), targets (five), and yards (34) during the Week 10 defeat to the Denver Broncos. With brother Trevon Diggs appearing to criticize Buffalo's usage of Diggs in a tweet grabbing headlines, a squeaky-wheel narrative could be forming around the 29-year-old superstar. Diggs tagged the vaunted New York Jets secondary with a 10/102/1 receiving line in the regular-season opener, but Gang Green is confining enemy WRs to a league-low 22.1 fantasy points per game this year. Much like quarterback Josh Allen, Diggs' lead in receptions (73) and targets (102) among WRs makes him a weekly matchup-proof WR1 start despite any stiff draw at their respective positions. Diggs' DFS rostership should be down in Week 11, giving him some contrarian appeal.

Denver Shuts Down Stefon Diggs Monday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs finally sputtered in Week 10's 24-22 loss to the Denver Broncos, managing three catches (five targets) for 34 yards. After Diggs appeared totally matchup-proof over his first nine games of the year, shutdown cornerback Pat Surtain II had something to say about that. Diggs broke a tackle in single coverage for a 15-yard gain in the second quarter, which ended up as the highlight of his muted evening. It was the 29-year-old superstar's first noticeably quiet outing of the campaign, so fantasy managers should probably cut him some slack on a night where the Bills turned it over four times and struggled to sustain drives. After registering season-low figures across the board in Monday's down game, Diggs will look to return to his prolific WR1 ways in Week 11's key divisional showdown with the New York Jets. The All-Pro wideout caught a season-high 10 passes against Sauce Gardner and company in the season opener.

Stefon Diggs Faces Tough Test Against Broncos

The Buffalo Bills removed wide receiver Stefon Diggs (back) from the Week 10 injury report on Saturday after two limited practices due to a back injury. Diggs has flourished as a fantasy dream in his age-30 campaign, logging six catches or greater in each of his first nine games to lead the position in receptions (70). The three-time Pro Bowler has also racked up 11 targets or greater in seven out of nine tries, pacing wideouts in targets (97). Diggs now gets ready to do battle with All-Pro Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain II on Monday, and defensive coordinator Vance Joseph's secondary has also stiffened up after a dreadful start to hold WRs to the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game (26.75) over the past four weeks. With fellow elite WR1s Tyreek Hill, A.J. Brown, and Cooper Kupp on bye with an iffy Ja'Marr Chase (back), though, Diggs may very well check in as Week 10's top WR1 despite the formidable draw.

Stefon Diggs Misses Practice On Saturday, Expected To Play On MNF

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs (back) did not practice on Saturday but told reporters that he "100%" expects to play on Monday Night Football against the Denver Broncos in Week 10. Diggs was added to the injury report on Friday with a back issue before missing Saturday's practice. This is a potentially scary scenario for fantasy managers due to the fact that the Bills are playing on MNF. Diggs sounds confident that he will play but replacement options are limited if ends up having a setback and not suiting up. Fantasy managers should do their best to find a backup option that is playing on MNF, just in case.

Stefon Diggs Added To Week 10 Injury Report

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs (back) was added to the Week 10 injury report on Friday and put in a limited practice due to a back injury. It's the last thing fantasy managers want to hear, especially with the Bills not playing until Monday night this week against the Denver Broncos. It remains to be seen how serious the 29-year-old's injury is, but typically mid-week injuries are not a good sign. We should get a clearer picture of whether Diggs will still have a shot at playing on Saturday, when Buffalo releases their final injury report for Week 10. If Diggs is limited or out against Denver, Gabe Davis and Khalil Shakir will see more targets, as will impressive rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid.

Stefon Diggs Fights Off Slow Start For 86 Yards, Score

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs kept his foot on the gas in Week 9's 24-18 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, catching six of his seven targets for 86 yards, a touchdown, and a two-point conversion. Diggs showed off his elusiveness when he took a pass from behind the line of scrimmage for a 34-yard gain on Buffalo's opening possession. He was not targeted for the remainder of the first half, as the Bills had trouble finding an offensive rhythm. But the 29-year-old superstar began to heat up after halftime, catching all three of his targets for 26 yards on the initial drive of the second half. Diggs later streaked his way into the end zone for a 17-yard fourth-quarter score before making a tough catch to convert the ensuing two-point try and send fantasy managers home happy. The All-Pro wideout is still yet to succumb to a single-digit half-PPR fantasy result this year, and he'll remain a high-floor WR1 in next Monday's home matchup with the Denver Broncos in Week 10.

Stefon Diggs Firing On All Cylinders Before Week 9

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs looks well on his way to the fourth Pro Bowl nod of his career, chalking up fantasy's overall WR3 position in full-PPR settings leading into Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Diggs paces wideouts in targets (90) and receptions (64) as MVP candidate Josh Allen's go-to target. The 29-year-old superstar has piled up at least seven catches in six out of eight outings, while even more impressively attaining at least eight receptions or a touchdown in seven of eight. While Cincinnati's secondary has been somewhat stingy across the board, Sunday Night Football's environment presents the slate's highest implied point total (50.5). With a potential shootout in store, Diggs is an easy WR1 with a double-digit half-PPR effort in each instance he's taken the gridiron in 2023.

Stefon Diggs Churns Out Nine More Catches In Win

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs sustained his rapid pace in Week 8's 24-18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, coming down with nine receptions for 70 yards. Diggs trailed three other Bills receivers in first-half targets (three), grabbing three passes for 29 yards. The 29-year-old superstar made a clutch grab to move the sticks late in the game, but it was an otherwise quiet night by his lofty standards. Diggs took a backseat to Gabe Davis and even Khalil Shakir, who suddenly paced Buffalo in receiving yards on Thursday. Even so, Diggs was tied for the team lead with 12 targets. He's now on pace for 128 catches (180 targets), 1,496 yards, and 12 touchdowns at the season's traditional midway point, which would be on par with his All-Pro Buffalo debut season in 2020 when he led the NFL in receiving. Diggs will be a great WR1 bet in Week 9's meeting with the Bengals in Cincinnati on Sunday Night Football.

Stefon Diggs Tries To Keep Up Torrid Numbers

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs may be trailing Tyreek Hill in fantasy scoring, but he has presented a virtually unrivaled floor at the position in 2023. Diggs' "worst" effort so far was a 7/66/0 receiving line in Week 2's blowout win. The All-Pro wideout ranks second among WRs in catches (55) and receiving touchdowns (six) while placing fourth in receiving yards (678). Diggs' next showing takes place on Thursday versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are more generous through the air than on the ground with the sixth-most opponent passing yards per game (246.7). Expect the Bills to adopt some form of pass-heavy approach to counter Tampa Bay's stout run defense in Week 8, which should remain centered around quarterback Josh Allen's go-to target. Top Bucs cornerbacks Carlton Davis III and Jamel Dean represent a formidable man-coverage tandem, but Diggs is a weekly matchup-proof WR1.

Stefon Diggs Collects 12 Targets, Scores In Loss

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs may have logged a season-low 58 yards in Week 7's disappointing 29-25 defeat to the New England Patriots, but he also tallied his sixth touchdown of the season. Diggs' one-catch, six-yard first half was a far cry from Week 6's six-reception, 69-yard first half. But the 29-year-old superstar made a key heads-up play on a fourth-quarter highlight, securing a sliding a catch on a post route before scurrying into the end zone after going untouched while on the ground. Diggs ultimately recorded his seventh consecutive game with at least six receptions on Sunday. Additionally, he now has seven straight double-digit half-PPR showings to start his age-30 campaign. The four-time Pro Bowler will be one of fantasy's highest-floor WR1s on a short week versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday.

Stefon Diggs Seeks To Blast Patriots Again

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs may be turning 30 years old this November, but he may only be getting better with age. Diggs is third among wideouts in targets (66), receptions (49), and yards (620) with five touchdowns. The superstar wideout is also generating the fourth-highest fantasy points per route run (0.67) at his position. Diggs has blitzed New England in his Bills career, averaging a potent 6.7 catches on 9.8 targets with 94.8 yards and six total touchdowns in six games against the Patriots. Diggs' matchup would be upgraded if top Pats corner Jonathan Jones (knee) can't suit up for Sunday's affair. With quarterback Josh Allen functioning at an MVP level, Diggs' alpha role (33.8% target share) in a high-powered offense entrenches him as a matchup-proof, every-week WR1.

Stefon Diggs Hits 100 Yards Again In Tough Win

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs was showered with 16 targets in Week 6's grueling 14-9 win over the New York Giants, coming down with an even 10 receptions for 100 yards. Diggs provided a big lift to Buffalo's neutralized offense on Sunday night, getting off to a fast start by pulling in four of his six targets for 49 yards in the first quarter. The three-time Pro Bowler acted as a first-half target magnet, attracting 12 looks from quarterback Josh Allen for six catches and 69 yards amid the team's sluggish evening. On a night where Allen and the Bills offense were stymied for most of the game, Diggs made several clutch grabs on his path to reaching 100 yards for the fourth consecutive outing and fifth time out of six weeks to begin the campaign. Diggs takes his high-floor, high-ceiling ways into a Week 7 date with the division-rival New England Patriots, which could be another slow-paced slog.

Stefon Diggs Aims To Continue Career-Best Pace

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs has put on a clinic to get his 2023 show on the road. Diggs ranks as fantasy's overall WR2 in half-PPR scoring (99.50) on the power of a league-high five receiving touchdowns, third-most receptions (39) and sixth-most receiving yards (520). The 29-year-old superstar sits sixth in targets (50) and has drawn multiple red-zone targets in all but one of his five games so far. An already overmatched New York Giants secondary could have a hard time allocating ample attention to Diggs in Week 6 with No. 2 wideout Gabe Davis riding a four-game scoring streak on the other side of the perimeter. Aging like a fine wine thus far during his age-30 campaign, Diggs is a top-shelf WR1 as he looks to add to a career-best pace on Sunday night.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs caught 8-of-11 targets for 121 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Diggs, along with the rest of the offense, wasn't doing much until he froze Tyson Campbell on a 15-yard touchdown reception on Buffalo's last drive of the first half. Jacksonville then somehow let the 29-year-old superstar get wide open for a 48-yard catch in the third quarter to transcend the 100-yard mark for the fourth time already this year. Diggs grabbed a 12-yard pass and "lost a fumble" after a lateral with the Bills in desperation mode on their final possession. The sputtering New York Giants figure to stand little chance holding the All-Pro wideout down on Sunday Night Football in Week 6.

Stefon Diggs Showing No Signs Of Decline In Early Goings

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs is now tied with Tyreek Hill for the league lead with four receiving touchdowns after dusting up the Miami Dolphins for three scores during Week 4's 48-20 statement victory. Diggs is putting up a highly efficient 0.68 fantasy points per route run while sorting fifth in catches (31) and seventh in receiving yards (399) during his age-30 campaign. The three-time Pro Bowler figures to draw the most frequent coverage of top Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Tyson Campbell, who has already allowed 15 catches for 172 yards and two TDs this year, during Week 5 in London. With quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills offense operating like a well-oiled machine following a dismal season opener, Diggs is a top-six WR1 across all formats on Sunday.

Stefon Diggs Continues Hot Start With Three Scores

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs roasted the Miami Dolphins in Week 4, catching 6-of-7 targets for 120 yards and three touchdowns in the 48-20 victory. Diggs put his fingerprints all over this one. He broke free for an 11-yard score early in the second quarter after drawing a pass interference penalty earlier in the drive. On Buffalo's highlight of the day among many nominees, Diggs shrugged off an illegal touching flag to wrestle a ball away from two Miami adversaries for an incredible 55-yard touchdown catch-and-run to cap off a stellar 107-yard, two-score first half. The 29-year-old superstar made a sweet move to juke a defender and add a third score from 13 yards out for good measure. Diggs' 16-game pace through four games shows a 124/1596/16 receiving line. That'll do. The Jacksonville Jaguars await in Week 5 next Sunday at their home away from home in London, where Diggs will be a WR1.

Stefon Diggs Looks To Keep Up Prolific Start In Week 4

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs is off to a quietly great start in 2023, gobbling up 25-of-32 targets for 279 yards and one touchdown covering three games as he enters Week 4's highly-anticipated divisional duel with the Miami Dolphins. With the Dolphins defense missing superstar cornerback Jalen Ramsey (knee), Diggs still has to deal with frequent coverage from multi-time Pro Bowler Xavien Howard. Diggs has fared very well against the Fins during Howard's tenure, though, averaging a healthy nine targets with 5.7 catches for 73.1 yards and four touchdowns in seven games since 2018. Holding only three deep targets on the young campaign, the three-time Pro Bowler may be needed as more of a vertical threat if the Bills hope to keep pace with Miami's humming offense. Diggs is a high-floor, high-ceiling WR1 in a matchup featuring the slate's highest implied point total.

Stefon Diggs Tags Commanders For 111 Yards In Rout

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs caught 8-of-12 targets for 111 yards in Week 3's 37-3 romp over the Washington Commanders. It was just another day at the office for the three-time Pro Bowler, who flaunted his route-running expertise all day on Sunday. Diggs was showered with targets, drawing 12 of them against an outclassed secondary while no other Bill saw greater than four on 32 Josh Allen pass attempts. The 29-year-old came loose on a broken play with Allen scrambling out of the pocket for a signature 30-yard catch to set the tone in the first quarter. He also helped pull Buffalo out of their own end zone on another 30-yarder during their first drive of the second half. Diggs later hauled in a 20-yard pass near the end of the third period to surpass the 100-yard threshold for the day. The superstar wideout will rate among Week 4's elite WR1 plays in a probable shootout with the white-hot Miami Dolphins.

Stefon Diggs A Safe WR1 Against Washington

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs played second fiddle to teammate Gabe Davis' 92 yards and a score with 66 scoreless yards in Week 2's triumph over the Las Vegas Raiders. The 29-year-old next does battle with the Washington Commanders secondary, who just saw rookie Marvin Mims Jr. dust them up for 113 yards and a touchdown on two targets last Sunday. Diggs likely draws the more favorable matchup between himself and Davis in Week 3, as he looks to pick on first-round rookie Emmanuel Forbes Jr. in this one, while Davis perhaps deals more regularly with top Commanders corner Kendall Fuller. Having caught 17-of-20 targets for 168 yards to start the campaign after a rocky offseason, Diggs has relieved any fear that his harmony with quarterback Josh Allen would be compromised in 2023. The three-time Pro Bowler rates as a high-floor WR1 in this one with four red-zone targets thus far.

Stefon Diggs Closes With 66 Yards Amid Week 2 Rout

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs brought in all seven of his targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 38-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The 29-year-old assembled a quiet day by his hefty standards, totaling five of his seven catches in the first half before the game got out of hand. It was still a solid PPR day for the superstar wideout, who took a bit of a back seat to teammate Gabe Davis' 92 yards and a touchdown in a contest where Las Vegas didn't really muster much of a fight. Regardless, Diggs will be back in the top-tier WR1 mix in a Week 3 road matchup with the Washington Commanders, who were just roasted on Sunday by rookie Marvin Mims Jr. for 113 yards and a score.

Stefon Diggs - Week 2 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs hung a massive 10/102/1 receiving line on 13 targets against Sauce Gardner and company of the vaunted New York Jets defense in the season opener. Separation came at a premium in that one, but the 29-year-old will face a much lighter task in Week 2 versus the Las Vegas Raiders' combination of 30-year-old Marcus Peters and 2023 fourth-rounder Jakorian Bennett. Despite neither of which appearing particularly intimidating, they were mostly unchallenged by quarterback Russell Wilson in Week 1 and could be in for a rude awakening in trying to hold Diggs in check on Sunday. The superstar wideout is a cinch WR1 play across all formats for Buffalo's home opener with the Bills forecasted to be one of Week 2's highest-scoring offenses.

Stefon Diggs Dominates Targets In Monday's Loss

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs came down with 10-of-13 targets for 102 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 22-16 loss to the New York Jets. The 29-year-old notably got the best of Sauce Gardner at one point for a nice 18-yard catch-and-run in the second quarter. Diggs then got free later that series for a five-yard score with Josh Allen chased out of the pocket. The target-hogging Diggs represented one of Buffalo's lone fantasy bright spots, helping keep the offense somewhat afloat on a night where Allen was stifled virtually every time he tried to push the ball down the field. Without much competition for looks in Buffalo's pass-heavy approach, Diggs should rank as a weekly top-flight WR1 going forward. Treat the three-time Pro Bowler as such in a cushy Week 2 draw versus the Las Vegas Raiders for Buffalo's home opener.

Stefon Diggs Has Work Cut Out In Rigid Week 1 Tilt

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs looks to put behind an offseason of drama in Week 1 against the New York Jets. The 29-year-old's minicamp "holdout" did not last long and he enters 2023 on the heels of three straight 100-catch seasons since arriving in Orchard Park in 2020. Diggs posted mixed results in two games opposing New York's secondary last year, logging 5/93 and 3/37 receiving lines. Gang Green's defense shut down opposing WRs for the fewest fantasy points per game (24.1) in 2022. Even though Diggs plays primarily on the right side of the field, he should draw plenty of coverage from '22 Defensive Rookie of the Year Sauce Gardner, who mostly plays on the left side. The nature of Buffalo's aggressive offense should keep Diggs heavily involved early and often enough to warrant mid-tier WR1 status despite the imposing matchup in their season opener.
