  • Derek Carr Throws For 295 Yards, Three Touchdowns

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr went 25-for-36 for 295 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in the 40-34 overtime victory over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12 on Sunday. He also ran the ball twice for 10 yards. The 31-year-old has now had at least two touchdown passes in four games, and this was his first game of the season with three touchdown passes. It was also his first time throwing multiple picks since he threw three in the season opener. With All-Pro wideout Davante Adams leading the way, Carr has been more reliable as a high-end QB2 for fantasy managers, including for a Week 13 rematch against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers. Carr had 295 passing yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions against the Bolts back in Week 1.

  • Derek Carr A QB2 In Week 12

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr will head on the road to take on the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12. Carr has been reasonably productive of late, having thrown exactly two touchdowns in each of his past three games without throwing an interception. The Seahawks represent a good matchup for Carr as they are allowing the 11th-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks in 2022. Carr is a solid play as a high-end QB2 in fantasy heading into Week 12.

  • Derek Carr Throws For 307 Yards and Two Touchdowns In Overtime Win

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw for 307 yards and two passing touchdowns including the game-winning 35-yard touchdown in a 22-16 overtime win in Week 11. As is the case often this season, Carr's performance was on the back of a dominant showing by his best weapon Davante Adams. Both touchdowns went to Adams and he showed his usual elite separation. As long as Adams is on the field, Carr will continue to be in the streaming conversation. He will look to build on this success in Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks.

  • Derek Carr A Mid-Tier QB2 In Week 11

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr will look to produce against the Denver Broncos in Week 11. The opponent is unfortunately as bad as it gets for a fantasy matchup. What is statistically the best defense in the NFL against the position, the Broncos are allowing just over 10 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. Unfortunately, with both teams struggling, the game script won't call for a large volume of passing opportunities. The brutal matchup as well as a lack of weapons outside of Davante Adams leaves Carr outside the streaming range. He is only in play in 2QB leagues for Week 11.

  • Derek Carr Throws For 248 Yards In Loss

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback threw for 248 yards and two touchdowns and zero interceptions on 24 completions, but it wasn't enough to defeat the Indianapolis Colts. Carr was a fine fantasy option and continues to be a solid mid-level QB2, but with tight end Darren Waller and wide receiver Hunter Renfrow on injured reserve, the ceiling of the offense is capped. Carr will face a tough matchup against the strong Denver Broncos defense in Week 11 on the road.

  • Derek Carr A Borderline QB1 Against The Colts

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr bounced back in last Sunday's loss to the Jaguars after being shut out the week before by the Saints. He threw for 259 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions in the Week 9 loss. He has thrown for 1,880 yards and an 11:5 TD: INT ratio over eight games in 2022. Carr will look to build on last Sunday's performance against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10. The Colts have been solid against the pass and rank 11th in pass DVOA this season. Carr has thrown for multiple touchdowns in five games this season and is considered a borderline QB1 against the Colts.

  • Derek Carr Throws Two Touchdowns In Week 9

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr finished with 259 yards and two touchdowns off 21-for-36 passing during the loss to the Jaguars in Week 9. Although Carr has played well in his last three out of four appearances, the Raiders now sit at only two wins in 2022-23. Fortunately for the signal-caller (and fantasy managers), Vegas draws a favorable matchup against the Colts in Week 10. Carr should be considered a starting fantasy option for that one.

  • Derek Carr Will Look To Bounce Back Against Jacksonville

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr completed 15-of-26 passes for 101 yards and an interception in Sunday's 24-0 loss to the Saints. The Raiders were shut out as the offense struggled to move the ball in last Sunday's loss against New Orleans. Carr will look to bounce back against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9. Jacksonville's defense has struggled against the opposing team's quarterbacks and ranks 24th in pass DVOA this season. The 31-year-old is coming off his worst game of the season and is in a get-right spot against the Jaguars. Carr is a borderline streamer and a mid-range QB2 against Jacksonville in Week 9.

  • Derek Carr Has Worst Game Of 2022

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw for 101 yards and zero touchdowns in a 24-0 loss to the New Orleans Saints. He also threw an interception. It was as bad of a game as any player can have at the quarterback position and Carr was eventually benched for Jarrett Stidham in the 4th quarter with the game out of hand. Carr had been a fine streamer the first five weeks of the season but has struggled following the Raiders' bye in week 6. This will surely be his worst game of the season. However, he is now off the fantasy radar until further notice. You can safely move on from Carr in 1QB leagues. He will look to rebound in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

  • Derek Carr Without An Injury Designation For Week 8

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr (back) was removed from the injury report for Sunday's meeting with New Orleans. The 31-year-old practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday but was expected to play all along after returning for full sessions on Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately, the Raiders are dealing with several questionable tags, with Davante Adams (illness), Mack Hollins (heel), and Darren Waller (hamstring) uncertain for Week 8. As a result, Carr could be without some of his favorite targets. However, Carr will at least have Hunter Renfrow (hip) and Josh Jacobs (foot), so his outlook remains favorable against a Saints defense that has struggled against opposing quarterbacks this season.

  • Derek Carr Gets In A Full Practice On Thursday

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr (back) was able to get through a full practice session on Thursday. The 31-year-old is dealing with a minor back issue, which limited him on Wednesday. Now, it sounds like Carr is feeling better, which means he should be fine for the Week 8 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Carr should be considered a low-end QB1 for this upcoming matchup, assuming he doesn't suffer a setback.

  • Derek Carr, Darren Waller Limited On Wednesday

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr (back) and tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) were both limited in practice on Wednesday. Carr is dealing with what sounds to be a minor back injury, so as long as he doesn't suffer a setback later this week, he should be good to play in Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints and their beat up secondary. Carr threw only one TD pass in Week 7 while running back Josh Jacobs ran for three scores, but he'll be on the QB1/2 borderline this week, especially if he gets Waller back. Waller has missed the last two games but could be on track to play this Sunday. The 30-year-old has disappointed in four games so far as a high-end TE1, though, catching 16 of 24 targets for 175 yards and one touchdown.

  • Derek Carr Throws Just One Touchdown In Week 7

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw for 241 yards and one touchdown in the Raiders Week 7 win over the Houston Texans. The statistics don't necessarily reflect how well Carr played in this one as it was the run game that led the way in the box score. Carr found six different pass catchers in this game and kept drives going, ultimately leading to Josh Jacobs touchdowns. It was a disappointing fantasy output for those who streamed Carr with quarterback bye weeks. The takeaway is the continued growth of this offense, which will lead to fantasy points for the quarterback more often than not. Carr will look to get back into the QB1 conversation against the Saints in Week 8.

  • Derek Carr A Back-End QB1 in Week 7

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr will look to put together a QB1 performance against the Houston Texans in Week 7. The Texans don't appear to be a great matchup on paper, having only allowed 4 passing touchdowns this season. It is safe to attribute that to both their opponents as well as the lack of necessity to throw the ball against this team. The bye week presents a perfect time to work through some passing game inefficiencies. Carr will need to improve his game to dig this team out of a 1-4 hole. Having thrown two touchdowns in all but one game this season, Carr is a safe QB1 play in Week 7.

  • Derek Carr Looks To Bounce Back In Week 5

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr will look to put together a bounce-back performance in Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Carr had his worst game of the season in Week 4, failing to throw a touchdown for the first time. While he has struggled at Arrowhead Stadium in his career, he has never had Davante Adams in those previous matchups with the division opponent. Adams alone can give his QB a weekly floor and should be featured in this game. Carr will look to put together a solid outing with the Raiders likely chasing points. Fantasy managers could do worse than Carr as their starter in Week 5 as he will need to perform with the presumed game script on tap.

  • Derek Carr Totals 228 Scoreless Yards In Week 4 Win

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr completed 21 of his 34 pass attempts for 188 yards and added 40 rushing yards on seven attempts in a 32-23 victory over the Denver Broncos. Carr was unable to get it done for fantasy purposes on Sunday as Josh Jacobs ran wild. The matchup was not necessarily easy, however, as the Broncos have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks so far this season. The seven rushing attempts are likely an anomaly as Carr has only reached that number one other time in his career. He will look to get back on track in a second consecutive divisional showdown as the Raiders face off against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5.

  • Derek Carr- Week 4 Outlook For Fantasy Football

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr will look to lead the team to the first win of the season when they host the Denver Broncos in Week 4. The 31-year-old has had modest results this season, completing 73-of-120 attempts for 850 yards and a 6:4 TD: INT ratio over three games. Denver has been tough against opposing quarterbacks this season, allowing the second-fewest fantasy points per game and ranking 10th in DVOA against the position. Despite the tough matchup, Carr is a high-end QB2 and is mainly a starting option in 14-team plus and superflex league formats.

  • Derek Carr Throws Two Touchdowns In Week 3

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw for 302 yards while throwing two touchdowns and one interception in the Raiders 24-22 loss to the Tennessee Titans. He added two carries for 17 yards on the ground. Fantasy managers should feel good that this ended up being the final stat line for Carr, as the offense struggled for most of the game. An 80-yard drive put the Raiders within a two-point conversion with about a minute remaining. It was looking like a disappointing game until that drive. It was Carr's most yards of the season as the team continues to see good passing volume while falling into a pass-heavy game script. With two touchdowns in each game this season, Carr remains a starting fantasy option going forward.

  • Derek Carr A Stream-Worthy Option In Week 3

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr will face off against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. The Raiders come into this game after a brutal overtime loss in Week 2, where their offense spent most of the second half on the sideline. Carr and the offense have yet to put together a complete game. They will need to take advantage of a Titans defense that just got dominated by the Bills on Monday night. With a solid matchup and back against the wall at 0-2, Carr will need to step up. He should serve as a worthy fantasy starter in Week 3.

  • Derek Carr Throws Two Touchdowns In Week 2

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr passed for 252 yards and two touchdowns in a 29-23 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. Carr and the offense couldn't get much going down the field in this one as both tight ends and Hunter Renfrow worked the short field. The Cardinals sold out to stop the Raiders superstar wide receiver Davante Adams and for the most part, that plan worked. It was more of a game management performance from Carr, but it will be rare for him and Adams to be contained this season. If this is what seems to be a floor performance for Carr, fantasy managers should feel good about him as their rostered QB1.

  • Derek Carr Struggles In Season Opening Loss To Chargers

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr completed 22 of 37 passes for 295 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in a 24-19 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1. The Raiders offensive line struggled in this one, with the Chargers continuously getting pressure and racking up five sacks. Carr's interceptions were mostly in the face of pressure, but he was not sharp in this game. One thing we did see was the chemistry between the quarterback and the Raiders new superstar wide receiver Davante Adams, who will assist in ascending Carr's fantasy value in 2022. Even in a poor performance, the final stat line was acceptable for fantasy managers, minus the picks. Carr will look to do a better job of protecting the ball in Week 2 at home against the Arizona Cardinals.

  • Derek Carr Could Be In Store For Big Year

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr now has All-Pro receiver Davante Adams and he still has Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller, plus a couple of pass-catching running backs. ESPN's Dan Graziano is suggesting that Carr could surpass 5,000 receiving yards in 2022 after he threw for 4,804 yards in 2021. There are question marks on the offensive line, but the Raiders are expected to throw the football a lot under new head coach Josh McDaniels. Carr is definitely more attractive as a high-end QB2 for fantasy managers now that he has one of the best wideouts in the game on his side. He'll be a strong bye-week replacement in the middle of the season as well.
