Titans WR Robert Woods, CB Caleb Farley push each other in ACL recoveries
The two have been tag-teaming their rehabs from knee injuries that cut their 2021 seasons short.
Aug 3 · ESPN Titans Caleb Farley Robert WoodsRobert Woods Practicing Without Knee Brace
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Robert Woods (knee) was able to practice without a knee brace and get some reps with his new quarterback Ryan Tannehill. It is a good sign that he won't be limited in training camp, so all signs point toward him being ready for Week 1 barring a setback. Woods tore his ACL last season as a member of the Los Angeles Rams, limiting him to just nine games. In that time, he caught 45 passes for 556 yards and four touchdowns while playing the No. 2 role to Cooper Kupp. Now, the 30-year-old will head from one of the pass-heaviest offenses to one of the run-heaviest, which will likely cap his fantasy upside. With Treylon Burks in the mix and the team's tendency to rely on Derrick Henry, Woods profiles as a WR4 for fantasy managers.

Robert Woods Won't Be Limited
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said that wide receiver Robert Woods (knee) will be doing 90 percent of the work early in training camp. It's great news for Woods, who was limited to just two games with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021 after tearing his ACL. He was dealt to the Titans for a sixth-rounder in the offseason, and he's expected to serve as the team's No. 1 receiver in 2022 with A.J. Brown now in Philadelphia. As long as the 30-year-old veteran doesn't have a setback this summer or in the preseason, he should be ready for Week 1. Woods had back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons for the Rams in 2018 and 2019, but Tennessee's passing attack won't quite be as prolific, and he'll likely garner plenty of attention from opposing defenses. Fantasy managers should target Woods as more of a WR4/flex for depth coming off a serious knee injury.

Titans Keeping Treylon Burks In The Loop
Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Treylon Burks has missed time this offseason while dealing with asthma flare-ups. Despite the rookie's inactivity, wide receivers coach Rob Moore has been keeping him on his toes by routinely quizzing him about the playbook. Although the goal is for Burks to remain engaged mentally throughout his recovery process, his latest bout with asthma may keep him from being a productive fantasy option, at least early in the year. However, even though Burks should be the No. 3 wideout on the depth chart, he could climb it if Robert Woods or Nick Westbrook-Ikhine miss time in 2022-23. The 22-year-old also has plenty of long-term upside, so if he gets off to a slow start due to his condition, he has a strong chance of having some solid seasons moving forward, so he'll still be plenty attractive in dynasty leagues.

Robert Woods Could Be No. 1 Option
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Robert Woods (knee) has reportedly looked good during recent drills. It has been reported that quarterback Ryan Tannehill and Woods have been building chemistry this offseason. At this point, Woods sounds like he'll be 100 percent ready for Week 1. Joe Rexrode of The Athletic believes that Woods should be the No. 1 option in Tennessee. His main competition is Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Treylon Burks, and Austin Hooper. That being said, Woods could very well be the top option for this offense next season. Fantasy managers should wait and see how he looks during training camp before jumping on the bandwagon. Although, it sounds like Woods is doing well and could be a legitimate option in this offense next season.

Robert Woods Already Participating In OTAs
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Robert Woods has looked good in individual drills, according to Titans Reporter Jim Wyatt. He has participated at less than full speed, but the fact that he is even out there is extremely encouraging considering he tore his ACL midway through last season. Woods' recovery has significant ramifications for the Titans' offense, as he is the only proven wide receiver on the depth chart. The 30-year-old is not expected to make a huge fantasy impact coming off the injury and transitioning from Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford to Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill, but could still demand a considerable target share if he is healthy. Woods captured a 21% target share before getting hurt, even as the distant #2 option behind last year's fantasy MVP Cooper Kupp. A healthy Woods would help ease the burden on No. 18 overall pick, wide receiver Treylon Burks, but if Woods is limited to start the year then Burks and tight end Austin Hooper could see considerable boosts in value.

Titans Eyeing Another WR Addition?
The receiver room has seen plenty of turnover in Tennessee this offseason. Despite the changes already made, more could be on the way in the near future. According to Jim Wyatt of TennesseTitans.com, there is a strong chance of “another addition before the season at receiver”. The top of the depth chart at this time […]
May 27 · Pro Football Rumors Titans Treylon Burks Nick Westbrook-Ikhine Robert WoodsRobert Woods Making Progress
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Robert Woods (knee) is making good progress in his recovery from a torn ACL that he suffered last November while playing with the Los Angeles Rams. "I actually feel like they're kind of holding me back a little bit," Woods said. "I am trying to get back as well as I can, just doing everything (trainer) Todd Toriscelli has me doing, trying to stay focused and be patient with it. Right now I feel really, really good, getting going, being able to do some things." It remains to be seen if he'll be ready for training camp, but Woods is expected to be the team's No. 1 receiver after they traded A.J. Brown to the Eagles during the draft. The 30-year-old had 367 catches for 4,626 yards and 23 touchdowns in his five seasons with LA, but he's coming off a major injury and is now in a run-first offense.
