  • Kenny Stills, Randall Cobb Out Against Lions

Houston Texans wide receivers Kenny Stills (quadriceps) and Randall Cobb (toe) have both been ruled out for the Thanksgiving game on Thursday against the Lions and will not travel with the team. Cobb is dealing with a significant toe injury and will miss several more games. With both Stills and Cobb out this Thursday, Keke Coutee should be elevated to three-receiver sets alongside Will Fuller V and Brandin Cooks. Coutee has just four catches for 21 yards and a touchdown in two games played this year, but he'll be a deep DFS sleeper on Thanksgiving against a very generous Lions Defense. Tight ends Darren Fells and Jordan Akins could see more targets as well, but the main beneficiaries should be Fuller and Cooks.

  • Randall Cobb, Kenny Stills Ruled Out

Yikes. Two Houston Texans wide receivers Randall Cobb (foot) and Kenny Stills (leg) have been ruled out for the second half of Sunday's game against New England. Cobb caught two passes for seven yards and a touchdown. Stills did not have a reception. We should see more of Keke Coutee in the second half, who scored his first touchdown of the season in the second quarter.

  • Texans Fielding Offers For Kenny Stills, Brandin Cooks, Will Fuller V

The Houston Texans are reportedly listening to trade offers for three of their wide receivers: Kenny Stills, Brandin Cooks, and Will Fuller V. Houston's crowded wide receiver room has meant limited chances for Stills this year, so moving him somewhere or moving other receivers instead would open up more looks for Stills somewhere. He might be worth stashing in some leagues right now in hopes that a trade materializes and clears up his 2020 outlook.

  • Kenny Stills Finds End Zone In Week 4

Houston Texans wide receiver Kenny Stills scored his first touchdown of the 2020 NFL season on Sunday against the Vikings, catching two passes for 39 yards and the score. While it was nice to see Stills find pay dirt, his inconsistent role in the Texans offense means that even this touchdown doesn't really move the needle for him in terms of fantasy values. He's still a deep league bye week replacement at best unless injuries lead to a larger role.

  • Kenny Stills Has Three Catches Against Steelers

Houston Texans wide receiver Kenny Stills caught three passes for 35 yards in Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Stills was targeted four times in a game where Houston's top four receivers all had either four or five targets. Stills is still the fourth option on this team, making him a risky fantasy option with a low floor and a low ceiling each week. He's not much of an option outside of extremely deep leagues unless there's an injury that turns Houston's four-player receiver logjam into a three-player one.

  • Duke Johnson Jr. Inactive, Kenny Stills Active

Houston Texans running back Duke Johnson Jr. (ankle) is inactive for the team's Week 3 contest against the Steelers, which means that David Johnson should function as the workhorse back for the team this week. It's a bad matchup for Johnson, but his projected volume gives him a good shot at being an RB2 on the day. Elsewhere on the team, wide receiver Kenny Stills (illness) is playing but is the No. 4 receiver on the team and isn't a fantasy option. Defensive tackle Ross Blacklock -- who was ejected from last week's game -- is also inactive and could be in head coach Bill O'Brien's doghouse.

  • Kenny Stills Expected To Play, Duke Johnson A Long-Shot

Houston Texans wide receiver Kenny Stills (illness) is expected to play Sunday while running back Duke Johnson (ankle) is a long-shot to suit up against the Steelers. Stills was able to get a session in on Friday and Johnson was limited all week, so it's not surprising that the backup halfback is expected to miss the game. This should mean more of a heavy workload again for fellow back David Johnson, who handled 13 touches in Week 2 against the Ravens. Still it's a tough matchup for both Johnson and Stills against Pittsburgh defense that ranks second in the league in total defense DVOA.

  • Kenny Stills Can't Be Trusted In Week 3

If you thought the Texans and their revamped wide receiver core would feature some wide-open, four-receiver sets this season, you were wrong. Houston hasn't run a single play this season with four receivers and has run just one play without a tight end. This is one of the reasons to stay away from the team's No. 4 receiver, Kenny Stills, in Week 3. Still a talented wideout, Stills is on the field less than half of the time and has just two catches for 16 yards this season. Unless there are injuries ahead of him, Stills is a fantasy afterthought right now.

  • Kenny Stills Held Without A Catch

Houston Texans wide receiver Kenny Stills was targeted twice in Thursday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He didn't catch either of them. It was the first time since Week 5 in 2016 that Stills was held catchless in an NFL game. Clearly, the addition of Brandin Cooks and Randall Cobb means Stills isn't one of the go-to players for quarterback Deshaun Watson, even though the duo have a year of familiarity. Stills is not an option in season-long leagues and won't have value unless an injury occurs to someone ahead of him on the depth chart.
