  • Greg Zuerlein A Good Kicking Option In Week 5

New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein is a good kicking option for a Week 5 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Zuerlein struggled in Week 1, but has been perfect ever since, even setting a new Jets record for longest field goal in the process. In what should be a close game, Zuerlein could once again be a difference maker both on the field and in fantasy lineups.

  • Greg Zuerlein Makes All Four Kicks In Week 4

New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein made all four of his kicks in a Week 4 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Zuerlein made all three of his extra points and was good on his lone field goal attempt, from 38 yards away. It was another solid performance by the veteran kicker, who has been very good since a rough Week 1. He should be a good streaming option in fantasy leagues that still have a kicking position.

  • Greg Zuerlein A Good Week 4 Kicking Option

New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein is a solid option in Week 4 fantasy lineups. In Week 3, Zuerlein was responsible for all 12 points scored by the Jets, nailing four long field goals. With the Jets offense likely to continue to struggle to score touchdowns even with Zach Wilson (knee) back under center, Zuerlein could continue to be a consistent source of fantasy points at a very unpredictable fantasy position.

  • Greg Zuerlein Scores All 12 Jets Points In Week 3

New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein scored all 12 points for the Jets in a 27-12 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3. Zuerlein attempted four field goals and made all four, including a long of 52 yards. Zuerlein had a rough Week 1, but he's been strong since then and has worked his way into fantasy streaming consideration. The Jets offense should improve with Zach Wilson (knee) expected back in Week 4 as well.

  • Greg Zuerlein A Fine Kicking Choice For Week 3

New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein is a decent but unexciting kicking option in Week 3 fantasy lineups. Zuerlein was bad in Week 1, but much better in Week 2, kicking four extra points and a long field goal. With the Jets offense looking much better, they may be able to support a fantasy relevant kicker, although most league's waiver wires will have guys with higher floors and ceilings.

  • Greg Zuerlein Makes A Field Goal And Four Extra Points

New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein made a field goal and four extra points in a Week 2 win over the Cleveland Browns. Zuerlein made all five of his kick attempts, and each one mattered, as the Jets won 31-30. The field goal came from 57 yards out, and it was a much better kicking performance for Zuerlein after a disappointing Week 1.

  • Greg Zuerlein Not A Week 2 Fantasy Option

New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein is not a recommended fantasy option in Week 2 lineups. Zuerlein missed two of his four kicks in Week 1, and playing on a team unlikely to score in bunches, Zuerlein needs to be perfect to just stay in the periphery of fantasy relevance. Most leagues will have several safer and higher upside kickers on their waiver wire, Zuerlein is best left on there.

  • Greg Zuerlein Misses Two Kicks In Week 1

New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein missed two of his kicks in his Jets debut, a Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Zuerlein tried two field goals, making one and missing the other, and missed his only extra point attempt. Both of Zuerlein's field goal attempts came from 45 yards out, he made one and missed the other. On a team likely to struggle to score throughout the season, Zuerlein likely isn't a great bet in most fantasy lineups.

  • Greg Zuerlein Not A Great Week 1 Option

New York Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein is not a viable starting option in Week 1 lineups. While kicker is the world's most unpredictable fantasy position outside of the very top tier, Zuerlein seems less likely than most other kickers to make an impact in Week 1. With the Jets starting their season with a backup quarterback (the elite Joe Flacco), and going up against what should be a decent Baltimore Ravens defense, Zuerlein comes into Week 1 ranked somewhere outside of the top-20 kickers.

  • Eddy Pineiro Cut By Jets

The New York Jets have decided to release kicker Eddy Pineiro on Tuesday. He was battling with Greg Zuerlein for the starting kicker gig. Pineiro did fine with the Jets last year as he only missed one field goal attempt in five games. However, it sounds like he struggled during training camp, so the Jets decided to go with the veteran kicker. Possibly, Pineiro lands elsewhere, but his fantasy value could be dependent on where he goes. To be honest, any kicker on the Jets isn't going to be a favorable fantasy option. This offense struggled to move the ball last season, but Zuerlein does have a strong leg. Possibly, he can carve out some fantasy value in New York, but there should be better kicker options available.
