Rashod Bateman "Right On Schedule"

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman (foot) has participated in OTAs, albeit in a limited capacity. The 23-year-old was limited to six games last season, but his year ended abruptly after he underwent Lisfranc surgery in November. Fortunately, head coach John Harbaugh provided a positive update, reporting the wideout is "right on schedule" regarding his rehab efforts. There is still a way to go before the 2023-24 campaign starts, so nobody knows for sure if he'll be ready for Week 1. However, things will be different for Bateman this season once he returns to the field, especially with the Ravens bolstering the receiving corps during the offseason by adding Odell Beckham Jr. and rookie Zay Flowers. As a result, he may not be as productive for fantasy managers.

Rashod Bateman Practicing This Week

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman (foot) joined the team on Monday for the first practice of organized team activities. He will likely be eased back in training camp this summer, but it's a good sign that he's already back on the field learning the new offense under offensive coordinator Todd Monken. The third-year wideout has made steady progress since Lisfranc foot surgery last November ended his 2022 season after only six games. The 23-year-old averaged 19.0 yards per catch last year on 15 receptions for 285 yards and two touchdowns. The former first-rounder has had his issues with injuries, but Bateman has shown big-play potential when healthy. The Ravens have a few more capable receivers around him in 2023, but Bateman still figures to be quarterback Lamar Jackson's top target.
