    Headshot for Michael Gallup

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup is reportedly feeling good again at recently team workouts. The 27-year-old is now 18 months removed from a torn ACL that he suffered in the later part of the 2021 season. Gallup was healthy for a majority of last season, but didn't contribute as much as many thought he would. He finished with 39 receptions, 424 yards, and three touchdowns in 14 games. It sounds like Gallup is feeling better now and could be in for a bounce back campaign. However, he'll have to compete with Brandin Cooks and CeeDee Lamb for targets in Dallas. The expectation is that Gallup will be the starting slot receiver to begin the season. He could have some late-round value, assuming he's truly back to full health.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup is expected to have an expanded route tree next season, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. The team wants to add more to Gallup's plate rather than having him exclusively play the X receiver role. He spent most of last season attempting to get back to form after tearing his ACL in late-2021. Gallup has delivered back-to-back disappointing campaigns, but injuries have played a big role in that. The expectation is that he'll function as the WR3 behind Brandin Cooks and CeeDee Lamb. Gallup should have some late-round value, assuming he's finally back to full health.

The 27-year-old suffered a torn left ACL during a meeting with the Arizona Cardinals in January 2022 and missed three games last season. But Gallup will need to stay healthy, which will continue to be a concern for fantasy managers.
